Today's energy carries the repeated signature of aiding, assisting, and cooperating with others.  It is our combined effort with others that produces ripples of light that dance like streaking sparks across the field of consciousness.  The power of this day is what indigenous people would call "big medicine."  The effects are enormous.

Since the Moon in is Leo today and tomorrow, joining the Black Moon, our shadow sides are triggered.  They can take on the flavors of jealousy, power struggles, and personal insecurity.  It can feel like we are in a battle.  But these are illusions of the material world - the matrix.  We lift ourselves above these ordinary issues.  We recognize that true value comes from our inner light - the humor, joy, and love that we carry and share.  Come from that place inside you today, and you will do humanity and Gaia Sophia a great service.  Remember, it's a "big medicine" day when the energy and mindset we hold carries far and wide.

If you need a kick start to get to that feeling, remember what it is like to hug your pet, hug your child, feel the Sun on your face, eat something delicious, or hear your favorite song.  This will get you there fast and lighten your load. 

It will also help to consider if a good deal of your energy is committed to tasks that do not bring satisfaction.  The insight from this alone will free us.  The result of today's efforts leads to renewed self-respect.

The Moon will move into Leo around 2:00 pm ET/ 6:00 pm UT today, joining the Black Moon in this sign.  While the Black Moon is in Leo through the end of November, each month when the Moon moves into Leo and Aquarius, our shadow sides show out.  This gives us opportunities to make friends with our shadow side and integrate the power that is held at bay there.  Those with the Sun or Black Moon in Leo and Aquarius are affected the most.

The key over the next two days is how we handle changes that are taking place in our lives.  Are we using the power for change or abusing it?  Are we handling the changes with inner poise or are we projecting our feelings onto others like little monsters?  Here are some clues about today's energy that will keep the inner monster at bay today.

The overall tendency today is to feel like no one is paying attention to us - to what we say, what we have to offer, or what we are at heart.  We can feel out of touch.  Validate yourself today instead of seeking it from others.  You will save yourself a lot of head and heart ache.  Don't underestimate yourself or limit yourself to other's beliefs about your capabilities.  In fact, twist up the energy and seek your hidden or forgotten skills, talents, and interests.

This energy focuses strongly on relationships.  We seek a deeper connection, but we fear criticism.  Jealousy easily rears it's head.  We are inclined to feel like we've had enough of something and feel powerless to do anything about it.  We will even go to steep lengths to find things with which to feel dissatisfied.

We aren't powerless and we have choices.  Choices are what it comes down to today.  Take up your power and attach to the inner spark.  Let it shine through.  The power to align or magnetize with others is strong.  Let's work this from the positive end and consciously choose to radiate a strong field of love for the planet and love for our commonality as passengers on the planet.  If you begin to feel disturbed, sanity lies with nature.  All we have to do is avert our eyes to the natural world.  Switch your focus there and feel the transformation. Remember that there is ample assistance available to us this month.  We are not alone. 

P.S. Music is strong medicine today.  It uplifts and tames little monsters.  It will help us navigate the intensity that comes when the shadow side rears up.  Maybe it is time for a new personal theme song?

As of this writing, the Sun has not released an X-flare.  What did happen was that the interplanetary magnetic field near Earth dipped, opening a crack in the magnetosphere of the planet and raining down solar particles on us.  The crack is still open, bathing us in cosmic energy.

But Sunday's energy brings circumstances that may feel like we are braving a storm.  It is harsher energy that can produce discomfort.  We tend to see the limits of people, places, and things.  It can get emotionally stormy.  The key to this is to not personalize it too much.  Think of yourself as a wise old owl safely situated in a tree and out of the storms.  From this place and this perspective, there is confidence - confidence in hope for the future.

Even though we are safely stowed in a tree, so to speak, this doesn't mean we cut off our emotions or disengage from our lives.  It's a mental and spiritual perspective.  With this, we don't need to pretend to be stronger than we are.  Remember that this month energetically offers us a red cross nurse.  If you need assistance, have you asked the Mahavidyas, the Wisdom Goddesses, who are on duty this month?  If not, why not?

While plowing through the energy today, maintain inner poise.  This is the stance of the spiritual warrior.

Spaceweather.com reports potential for an X-class flare from sunspot AR2051, which has developed a delta class magnetic field.  But here is the highly interesting piece: The Earth is located at 14 degrees of Scorpio today; but the Sun was located at this degree on November 5, 2013 and produced an X-3 class flare on that day.  So we have preliminary data that the Sun (the divine being named Sabaoth) and the Earth (the divine being named Sophia) collaborate using the energetics of this degree.  Data is good.

The Sabian symbol for this degree is "telephone linemen at work installing new connections."  This energy always works to improve failures in interpersonal communications.  It works to help us express thoughts, feelings, and emotions that have become congested or fouled up.  The energy repairs damage.  From this, new connections are made.

Implicit in the symbol is the need to make a "repair call."  This would mean asking for help.  Sometimes we have to be wise enough to know that we need help.  Fortunately for us, we have not one but two Wisdom Goddesses on duty this month to provide just what we need.  Bhuvaneshvari is known as the World Nurse and Tara is known as the Rescuer.  Cultivate a relationship with these beings by calling upon them when needed.  Just talk to them.  They are real.  They are the emissaries of Gaia Sophia - aspects of herself that she "steps down" so that we can interact more readily.

Further, other energetics in play include approaching our worries or troubles from a new perspective, bringing certain things to conclusion, and recognizing that people are on various levels of awakening, understanding, and wisdom.

Saturday's energy also asks us to find humor in situations and to see the lighter side.  This continues yesterday's theme of lightening our load.

The radical difference between Saturday's energy and Sunday's energy (plus the development of this sunspot) necessitates separate reports. I will post a Sunday report tomorrow.

Keep in mind that this month we are crossing new boundaries with a heavy load, using different lenses of perception.  After we hear a wake-up call, a call to action, or a call to devotion, we observe the patterns and themes of the energy and ultimately unite with our spiritual comrades.  The entire month's energy intends a "nexusing" of people - putting people together, putting people in the places they need to be, and connecting/reconnecting people who have work to do together (including work at the level of the soul).

Today, allow the energy to repair what needs to be repaired.  Take a light-hearted approach.  Be on the lookout for signs and synchronicities.  And keep those gorgeous photos of our beautiful planet coming!  Be prepared to engage as a wise owl in the tree tomorrow.

Are you ready to lighten your load?  Today's energy attempts to alleviate the burden of whatever has accumulated in our lives that has become burdensome.

Many times, we take on the thoughts and expectations of others, but it is easiest to take on other's feelings, sometimes without even knowing it.  When we take on other people's burdens, we deprive them of the opportunity to gain wisdom.  This is disabling, though the common term is enabling.  The proper perspective comes to things today, helping us lighten our load and release anything that is weighing us down.

Mercury will oppose Saturn today, bringing a swiftness to events.  It's almost like a tail wind is pushing us forward without our control.  Don't get bogged down in details, fight the flow of events, or become attached to something being a certain way.  If you feel yourself becoming frustrated or are struggling, stop and re-orient yourself.  Get back in the flow by taking judgments out of the equation.

Also along the lines of judgment, there is an element of this energy that focuses on "the ideal" and projecting the "ideal."   When we get hung up on things being ideal or perfect, joy and happiness are choked out.  And this weights us down, too, which is the opposite of what we are trying to achieve today.  Don't hold yourself to unrealistic ideas.

Venus enters Aries today, beginning a fresh go-round of the zodiac.  New paths are opening for us, but the best ones involve overcoming fear of the unknown.  Watch for signs along the way to show you that you are on the right track.

Today's energy is quintessentially Venusian, producing strong feelings of longing for whatever we want or feel we lack.  This includes material items as well as immaterial needs, particularly emotional needs in relationships.  This can cause a host of issues, especially if we fall back into an old habit.  The tendency with this energy is toward jealously and greed.

To handle this energy, we need to air out our feelings.  But we also need to examine if the feelings of longing or lack are coming from the outer, material world of the matrix that deceives us and tries to keep us unhappy.  Ask:  Who says you need this?  Is it truly of value? Is this an old habit or pattern? Does it enable your true self to shine through or does it mask you? Are you merely playing a role? Are you expecting others to take responsibility for something?  Is what you want truly out of reach or is it right in front of you or almost there?  Does something need to be discarded?  Are you locked in a rigid set of parameters?

If this day is a challenge for you or you find yourself struggling emotionally, remember that assistance from higher sources is readily available.  We have a "red cross nurse" at our side!  In fact, we have a few.  I was unable to record last night, but when I do, I will talk about the Wisdom Goddesses Bhuvaneshvari, the World Nurse, and Tara, the Rescuer, She Who Guides Through Troubles.  We have ample aid.  Bhuvaneshvari operates through the spoken word, so you can tell her what's wrong.  Tara is the epitome of compassion and liberates us from obstacles.  Call on either or both if needed.  Wise owls know when to ask for help.

What happens to a species when the planets conspire for a month of intensive changes, deep imprinting for things that are lasting, explosive events, and expanding beyond previous limits?  The answer is a species is in crisis.

I think we can all pretty much agree that April, the Aries lunar month, was pure chaos.  The New Moon's conjunction with Uranus and the Grand Cross performed as expected (recognizing that with Uranus, the only you can expect is the unexpected).

So from the churning of cosmic currents, we arrive here on the eve of the pagan celebration of Beltane and its successor May Day, at the opening stages of a new lunar month, the moon of Taurus.  And we are energetically in crisis from the chaos.  Our minds, bodies, and emotions are rather overwhelmed by all of the astrological aspects.

When humanity is in crisis, the Mother energy enters in full force.  Sophia to the Rescue!

Gaia Sophia is the red cross nurse this month.

Don't you feel better already?  Are you already taking on a new lens of perception about your life over the past month?  Can you see the glimmer of possibility of the directions that unfolded with last month's events?  Can you fathom that possibly those events put you exactly where you needed to be because you couldn't get there yourself?

It was the New Moon of the New Astrological year, guys, so lots of things had to be seeded for development.  It was not easy for anyone.  But those things will come to fruition.  They will blossom.  Stating your intentions, goals, and wishes for yourself and for the collective of humanity for the next year was not a narcissistic endeavor.  It was a command to field of consciousness.  You could call it spiritual physics but it is best described as shamanism.

The idea behind today's report is to calm.  The first thing you do with someone who is in crisis is try to calm them by letting them know they aren't alone.  Next, you orient them to time and space, so they see that the trauma is not still happening (or not happening in exactly the same way).  This is called "grounding."

Today we will pause to recognize that the energy is not happening the same way it was last month.  The conspiracy of the cardinal signs of astrology are waning now that the New Moon in Taurus is underway.  We have to transition out of that energy and that speed - that chaos that we had to roll with.  So give yourself some time and space today.  Take a deep breath and know that the great goddess Sophia has come to our aid.  Relax.

For those who want specific information about today's energy: emotions run high, themes of security and independence are carried, concerted efforts are made to keep up appearances, and challenges to the status quo are prompted.

But let me end on the main message:  It's important to calm down right now.  Tell the nurse what is wrong.  Let out your worries, troubles, and heartaches.  Go outside and feel her take your hand.  Wise nurses know the healing power of the hands. 

She's right there beside us.

The New Moon in Taurus/Solar Eclipse begins today at the degree of "a red cross nurse."

Pause for a moment and take time to check how you respond to this image.  What is the first thing you think of with "a red cross nurse?"  What kind of imagery accompanies it in your mind's eye?  Our individual response to the symbol says a great deal about what this energy will be like for us over the next month.

As a whole, this month we are crossing new boundaries with a heavy load, using different lenses of perception.  After we hear a wake-up call, a call to action, or a call to devotion, we observe the patterns and themes of the energy and ultimately unite with our spiritual comrades.  The entire month's energy intends a "nexusing" of people - putting people together, putting people in the places they need to be, and connecting/reconnecting people who have work to do together (including work at the level of the soul).

If you divide the year into eight equal segments to represent the eight phases of the Moon, this month is a second New Moon phase.  This means we get double the opportunity to plant the seeds of desire, wishes, and intentions that will progress over the next eleven months.  Have the seeds you inserted into the field of consciousness during the Aries lunar month undergone a transformation since you set them in motion?  Are they more refined or defined now?  The wisdom that we gained over the last month is applied to those intentions, maturing them.  You can add to them or subtract from them now.  The universe is giving us an opportunity to make changes or modifications.

Mercury is conjunct this New Moon and Neptune is sextile to it.  Whereas last month was all about changes (and these changes will unfold for a year), this month is about communication, information, messages, and thought processes of a spiritual nature.

As the energy enters today, think about the red cross nurse and how the symbolism applies to you.  Do you need a red cross nurse?  Are you one?  Keep in mind that the symbol does not say that the red cross nurse is on the field attending to wounded.  The symbol states only the noun "a red cross nurse."

I like the idea of everyone getting an opportunity to think about what this symbol implies for each of us before I launch into a full explanation.  I will discuss this month's energy and how it ties in with the Aries New Moon and update according to what I wrote in the pre-Aries New Moon article "Mars, Eris, and the Perfect Storm or Why the Illuminati are Poised to Strike and Why They Will Fail."  Signs from the Aries New Moon are boding very, very well for us as we continue to co-create within the dreaming of Gaia Sophia.

Do the New Moon thing and light a candle or perform a ceremony to restate your intentions, goals, wishes, and dreams for the year.  Remember to do this for your personal life and for the collective of humanity.  Happy New Moon, wise owls!

It's a Monday, and the matrix tells us to dig in and get back to work, but we follow another direction - Nature's.  Though we have tasks to attend and things to accomplish, our mental focus is on nurturing our physical selves and warming our inner world.

Today is the last day of the Balsamic Moon phase.  Natural order dictates that this is a day of rest and recuperation.  This doesn't follow the typical work routine of our culture (but it will someday).  So even though you likely have much to work on, while you are engaged in tasks split your attention and keep the real mission for today in mind.  Don't work too hard.  Honor what needs to be done, but simultaneously hold a vision of revitalizing yourself.  This past month has been a massive shot of intensity, change, and new directions.  The Grand Cardinal cross was enhanced by the New Moon on March 30,  bringing together a month of the energies of Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto.  We are ready to move beyond this and into new energy.  New energy is exactly what is on the way with tomorrow's New Moon in Taurus.

Today's energy favors group endeavors, especially those that are designed to bring some sort of warmth, healing, positive feelings, and aid to others. Anything that diversifies or is a diversification of the way things are is supported today.

Today's energy also tries to repair damage.  This may be damage done a long time ago or over the past month.  If you are struggling with finances, health issues, or stress, speak to nature about it and release the worry to her.  Today is about taking a mental rest and resting often requires the surrender of that which has become unmanageable.  If you don't know what else to do about something, give it to the goddess.

One other thing: it's always ok to go down your own path.  We have a responsibility to ourselves to fulfill; sometimes this means we break off, sometimes temporarily and sometimes permanently, and go our own way.  Give yourself permission to do what you need to do.

Today we are wise owls with split attention.  We are present in the activities of the day, but mentally we are on break, resting and re-energizing.  The matrix holds no true power over us and our minds are free.  We are keeping the celebration of nature alive today by honoring her cycles, not the unnatural cycle that is imposed on us.  Take good care of yourself today and it will radiate and "charge" the field of consciousness as we prepare for new energy to enter tomorrow.

Saturday's energy is unique in that the energetic signatures from several of the planets are beaming the same themes.  Saturday is "Make Friends With Your Shadow Day."  Things are drawn out - drawn out from within us and freed today.  Anything that is "stuck" has the opportunity to finally move.  From this we gain a new sense of self-respect and value of ourselves.

There are also consistent signatures related to putting on a show or a front, deceiving, and the need to look under the surface to see what is really going on.  We may have to plumb the depths with all sorts of things to get the real picture.  Be aware of this potential.

Overall, freedom of that which has been controlled or trapped within shadows is the main theme.  Free yourself from a burden.

The theme of freedom and release continues Sunday, with the addition of a new path opening up.  Most likely this will require a leap of faith or overcoming fear to benefit or capitalize from it.  Muster the courage of the spiritual warrior that you are and engage your sense of adventure.  The panorama of our lives is expanding. 

Sunday also brings potential for a grand revelation.  This may be an inspiration or a revealing of the truth.

People may be more moody than normal.  The Moon will conjunct Uranus and the degree of this month's New Moon, re-activating potential for the unexpected to occur and setting the tone for big changes.  This is not a good day to have a heart to heart with someone, even if things that need to be addressed are revealed.  Wait at least until Monday.  Sit with your feelings and honor them.  The tendencies are to cut ourselves off from others or overdoing things to make them better.  We can't fuel everything, so don't try.

The energies are complex, but the simple truth prevails: nature is our respite, our sanity, our supporter, and our connection with each other.  Our commonality lies, at the deepest level, in the fact that we all share the planet, share the beauty of the planet.  She unites us.  She is our "go to" whenever we are sad, happy, lonely, fulfilled, ecstatic - everything.  Don't forget her.

Last evening (00:32 am UT/ 8:32 pm ET/ 5:52 pm PT), the Sun released an X1.3-class flare.  The energy of this flare is one we have a good deal of experience with - "men traveling a narrow path seeking illumination" - the Sabian symbol of the Pisces lunar month (this past March).    So we can expect two things from this today as the energy is distributed: a revisit of the themes of your life during March and illumination/insight into something.

At the time of the flare, the Moon was conjunct Neptune and not far off from Chiron.  So these energies are pulled alongside the flare energy.  The truth of our illusions is apparent under these influences.  We see.

Of course, the flip side of this energy is being blinded by the light.  Too much illumination/insight can be taxing to the body, psyche, and emotions.  It is best to slow things down today so you can process what comes to you. 

Since we were still in last day of the Third Quarter Moon phase at the time of this powerful flare - technically the energetic completion of the lunar month in Aries -it's energy empowers anything and everything that we have been "seeding" or "intending" all month long.  This happens if we haven't given up on those things already.  It's like a shot of cosmic fertilizer.  It's also Sabaoth's (the Gnostic name for the Sun) way of "sealing" the intentions we've set for the year.

Does it get any better than this?  How divine to have this sort of energy come at this time.

But it actually does get better than this.  The Moon will conjunct Venus today, at the degree of "a prophet bringing down the new law from Mount Sinai."  In essence, this energy adds to the revelatory truths.  This is not an endorsement of religious doctrine; it is merely archetypal energy.  (It may, however, activate something in the region of Mount Sinai.  There is always that potential with this degree.)  The symbol implies the practical application of spiritual insights.  It's the energy to manifest new ideas.

The negative polarity of this would be trying to control and dictate people or being a know-it-all.

It gets even better.  The position of the Sun today is "a bridge being built across a gorge." This energy re-connects us with spirit, helping to heal our feeling of separation from spirit, which is an illusion in itself.  All kinds of things are bridged, overcome, and linked today.

Several themes weave through today's energy:

• Loss:  Feelings of wanting to quit, throw things all away, or lose ourselves can crop up.  If you are experiencing a loss or if there is a loss you have not properly grieved, today is the day for this.  We purge this past under this energy.  The danger comes from dwelling too long on loss.  If your loss is material, remember that matter is an illusion.
• Self-Indulgence:  Self-care is essential and indulgence is a fun part of life.  The energy does not favor lingering self-indulgence so try to reel it in if this theme catches hold of you.
• Endurance: The energy continues to pound us emotionally.  However, we are gaining strength and endurance from situations.  If you feel like you are being pummeled by circumstances and feelings, you are undergoing tremendous growth and will be better for it.
• Simplicity:  KISS - Keep it simple, sweeties.  It's important to not overly complicate things today.
• Victimization:  Feeling like a victim is a strong imprint in today's energy and it has been heavily reinforced over time.  Resist the temptation to feel like a lamb to the slaughter or a slave.  Take responsibility for yourself.  Each of holds the power of the universe and we are limitless.
• Noise:  Loud people, noisy disturbances, and disruptions damage our calm today.  The volume of things is more noticeable and annoying.  Tune out whatever you can't turn down.
• Peace, Love, and Understanding:  These should always be primary in our hearts and minds, but these ideals hold more power today.  Remember that the new world order uses "divide and conquer" as a main strategy.  Keeping us fighting with each other keeps us focused off our real enemy - the Archons.
• Vision:  Our horizons are broadened today and things are closer than we think.  Look for your bigger picture.  Today's energy sets up the future.

So far this week we've had emotional storms, the rainbow after the storm, and today we have "the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."  This is the symbol for the degree of the Sun today, and it is also the degree of the Chiron Point.  Chiron involves wounding and healing, teaching, self-sacrifice, self-sabotage, bridges, the arts of war, early childhood and the inner child, all things related to the hands, systems of the body (chakras, acupuncture meridians, etc.), past lives, alchemy, and fusion of heaven and Earth.

For all of the pain that accompanies Chiron, there is always a promise of healing.  This is the promise today. 

But we are most interested in the gold of the soul - wisdom.  Today this will come from sharing, communicating, and expressing with others.  Relief from Chiron's pressures comes when we focus on what we can offer others.  Surprisingly, in the process, we gain precious wisdom about ourselves.  The ancient motto of the Mystery Schools - know yourself, know the universe - certainly comes into effect when we engage Chiron.

As mentioned, Chiron rules alchemy - the change from one state of being to another state of being.  We are in the midst of heavy changes this month, with Uranus conjunct the New Moon at the beginning of the month.  Today's energy tries to change us from our "old" form to a "new" form, so we need to flow with the changes.  Alchemy is the name of the game today.

Be aware that Chiron energy tends to have us turn on ourselves, sabotaging ourselves in some cases.  Chiron shot himself in the foot, after all.  It's hard to move forward when we wound our feet.  There is no need for self-punishment.  Accept personal responsibility for  whatever you feel you fell short on or acted poorly with and then move on.  Chiron released himself from his pain.  No one could do it for him and no one can do it for us.

Leos and Aquarians and those with the Black Moon in Leo and Aquarius will feel the Chiron energy most keenly today, as the Moon is in Aquarius.  This is the fourth of sixteen stages of rebirth that takes places for these folks twice a month through the end of November.  Shadow sides come out for all of us during these periods, but it is most intense for those with these astrological signs.  Again, we need to flow with the changes.

Happy Earth Day!

After yesterday's emotional storms, like a rainbow, today offers signs of hope.  Reassurance from higher sources comes to help us see promises for the future.  For this we take in the spectrum of the colors of our lives - the brighter ones and the dimmer ones.  They aren't all bold and they aren't all dull.

But it can be a challenge, in these times, to see a rainbow  - to see hope.  It can be challenging to dwell in a joyous mindspace.  Our emotions can carry us off, ungrounding us.  We can become battered.

Today's energy, Earth Day/Sophia Day, offers the opportunity to strengthen our roots so that we are not powerless to the storms of the times.  This is not woo woo.  It's about anchoring our consciousness with the planet so we don't fly off into insanity.  People who are not connected in some way to the planet lose their minds under the force of the times.  Earth = sanity = healing.

Over the last few days, energy has been in place to bring back elements of the past - lost parts of ourselves.  Today, the energy turns toward past lives.  Memories, preferences, situations, and people seep through from past lives today.  So consider today's circumstances from the point of view of it being related to past lives.

Rainbows, past lives, and healing are all themes related to our friend Chiron, which is no surprise since the Sun has moved into Taurus and reaches the Chiron Point tomorrow (the degree of Chiron when it was discovered).

Be on the lookout for signs from nature.  Keep your copy of Animal Speak by Ted Andrews handy.  (I carry the Animal Speak pocket guide with me all the time.)  Messages also come in dreams.  Keep your owl eyes peeled.

The bottom line today is to stay open about the future.  Destiny is revealing itself.

Emotional storms, outbursts, and breaks tend to result from today's energy, as things are in need of release.  Our emotions may come upon us abruptly and the tendency is to feel out of control.  But cool heads can prevail to keep things in moderation.  If something is welling up inside of you, take steps to move those emotions through your body.  Tension and anxiety build with the astrological energies that are in effect today.  We are mindful of this and recognize if emotional waves begin to build.  If a storm is swirling inside of you, don't project it onto others.  Deal with the emotions.  What is the truth, the heart, of what you feel?  Is there something that you need to do or say?

A sub-theme of this energy involves feeling like the best is over and nothing will ever be as good as it was (at some individually designated time in the past). We may feel like something has been forever lost to us.  In fact, the energy continues to support bringing back elements of the past that were very happy or invigorating.  A re-enchantment can take place.

Since we are in the Disseminating phase of the Moon, sharing, expressing, and communicating helps us keep us flowing according to natural cycles.  This energy is impulsive, with things tending to break and spill out, so try to confine your sharing to people you trust.

Venus is still in tight conjunction with Chiron, bringing tendencies to self-sabotage and self-criticize.  Negative thoughts and opinions are exaggerated while we dismiss the overwhelmingly positive majority opinion.  Try to keep things in perspective.

There is only so much we are ever in control of, but especially today.  The sooner we recognize this, the easier the day will go.  As emotions storm, we remain firmly grounded with our planet and in awe of the show.

Sophia and Sabaoth speak!  Sophia (the Gnostic name of the being embodied as the Earth) and Sabaoth (the Gnostic name of the being embodied as the Sun who is an ally of Sophia) speak all the time; sometimes we are able to hear better.

Sabaoth released an M7-class solar flare at 10:07 am ET/1:07 pm UT Friday, April 18.  This is an extremely strong flare and it will overtake two less powerful flares already en route to the spheres of Earth (atmosphere, magnetosphere, stratosphere) this weekend.  We picked up or received this stellar pulse immediately yesterday, but the effects build as the energy gets closer to our planet this weekend.

The energy of this flare is encapsulated in the image of the Sabian symbol for 9 degrees of Sagittarius (the position of the Moon at the time of the flare - the most accurate indicator).  This image is a mother leads her small child step by step up the stairs. 

Sophia, our mother planet, is assisting.  She always does this in her role as our mother planet - our incubator.  She provides all the conditions for life and growth, and we are lucky because she happens to be a beautiful planet and we reap the eye candy of this.  But I digress.

Not only are Sophia and Sabaoth directly engaged in how we experience life - how we grow as beings - but they also want us to know that they are doing this.  The ancient code of the Sabian symbols, lost in time but recovered by the novelty of the human spirit and its close kinship with Spirit, is one language of communication.

Why would Sabaoth and Sophia send this energy and this message?  The answer is always the same: because it is needed.  They would send the energy of assistance to safely help us move up, transition, and transcend because it would soon be needed.  We are being helped along.

The timing of the flare comes when the energetics of the solar system are preparing to wound and heal us in various ways related primarily to our values, relationships, relationship with our self, concern with security, and intensified personal insecurities (Venus conjunct Chiron).  Since this Sabian symbol involves young children and Chiron is strongly associated with the inner child, wounds from childhood tend to surface.

But there is another significant event coinciding with this right here on Earth - Christian Easter.  The energetics of the time between the first Full Moon after the vernal equinox and Easter Sunday always weave a unique tapestry in the fabric of time.  The changing of the seasons engages our senses, adding brilliance to the design. 

There are always two layers woven into the Easter energy.  One is soft and one is coarse.  Beautiful acts of love, kindness, and commonality form the soft threads of the top layer.  This is what we would call natural world order.  Dastardly deeds of destruction, death, and disillusionment form the coarse threads of the under layer.  This is what we would call the new world.  The difference is exacting.

The combination of Easter and the 4/20 trick (it's Hitler's birthday and a mass ritual) could pose the need for additional spiritual assistance.  Conditions are ripe for Illuminati hijinks.  But this is information for the back burner, not something to focus on.

The story is the gift of assistance from beings who love us very much and love who we really are and the expression of who we really are.  We are in good hands.

Mercury moves to the Eris Point today, bringing the tendency to say things before thinking.  Usually these are things that have been bubbling under the surface and need to be said or they are things that we can no longer tolerate.  The energy prompts us to think about freeing ourselves from something.  Eris energy gets to the core of what's wrong and attempts to rectify the matter.  It can get rather dramatic.  The best guidance is to keep respect and dignity in mind.  Are you attacking or defending?  Keep in mind that we are easily annoyed today, and give things space before acting out.

People will use the power of words to dominate others.  These people feel challenged and threatened by other people's talents, skills, and strengths.

There is a tendency to feel older than one's years today.  We can tempted to question our relevance.  The wisdom gained from experience is a very important element that is needed during these times.

Also, concern with outer appearances and image are heightened today.  What's important is what is beyond the surface.

The theme of the safety and comfort of home (and the lack of those things) is strong today.  We are seeking the feeling of home.  In reality, it does not matter where we are, we are always home because we are always attached to Gaia Sophia.  Keep it real and keep your heart focused on nature.  This is how we maintain sanity.

Today the Sun reaches the degree known as "the music of the spheres."  The world of spirit attaches to our inner realm and communicates to us.  From this, wisdom is gained.

In contrast to the past few days' intense energy, this energy is positively ethereal.  Our inner selves are on a magic carpet ride through the changes that come from lasting transformation.  We are wise to refrain from judging or evaluating whether things are going well for us or not.  Instead, we recognize that we are gaining wisdom from the process.  Even if it feels like a pattern is repeating and you are failing, this is not the case.  The energetics in place back at the New Moon on March 30 make the changes that we are experiencing very unique - even strange.  In many cases, the changes are coming from out of the blue because this energy works in unexpected ways.  We can only expect the unexpected to a certain degree.

Some people will express this energy through a "know it all" attitude.  The force of their desire to convert you to see things their way is not supported.  Don't let anyone talk you into or out of anything today.  This is individual, inner work.  The music of the spheres sings a different song for each of us. 

If we could hear the stars shake, we would hear a symphony today.  We can hear it on the inside, with sparks of our true selves popping in tune.  On the outside, we can hear it in birdsong.  Listen for birds today.  They are right there around you whether you are in the city or the country.  You'll make a deep connection with Wisdom the moment you do.

Today's energy cracks things.  Mars moves another degree backward, coming into tighter range with Uranus.  Pluto is now retrograde and also pulling back toward Uranus.  This energetic tension produces cracks today.

Everyone will experience a degree of cracking - loosening up.  Some will feel this more than others.  Some will crack wide open.  Cracks in our shells reveal a glimpse of our energy.  Inside, we shine like a thousands bolts of white lightning and crackle like the sparks of a tall bonfire.  This is the place that is undergoing alchemical change.

While this energy pounds down on us, we recognize that we are being changed from within.  So we flow and allow changes that are taking place.  We don't resist the change, even if we feel like we are in the midst of a blow-out.  What you were is becoming something else.  Who you were is becoming someone else.  This isn't a "multiple personality" thing - it's "multiplicity of person" thing, meaning the multiple facets of our being are shining forth.  Talents, interests, hobbies, and missions are being recovered.  Most likely these are things that interested you as a child and were left behind somewhere along the way.

Part of what develops with this may involve adjusting expectations, seeing through illusions, feeling like you have let yourself or others down, pity parties, and saying "here I go again."  We can also become too easily mired in details (and this alone could cause us to crack).

The tectonics of the Earth are highly active right now (by natural and artificial means).  This type of "cracking" energy would tend to amplify potential for earthquakes.

The "cracking" breaks us away from that which is familiar and takes us into new arenas, not least of which is higher realms of consciousness.  All of this is designed to refresh and revitalize us.  All we need to do is loosen up and allow the internal changes.  Follow the process today.  This is what it feels like to transform.

The Full Moon phase of the month leads us toward realizations and experiences that usually transform our relationships.  This includes our relationship with ourselves.  We seek experiences during the Full Moon.  These experiences bring the illumination of needed information.  The universe will deliver this over the next three days.

With this, opportunities and invitations are highlighted.  Though an offer may not thrill you, consider accepting it.  You will gain something very valuable from the experience.

Valuable things are recovered or rediscovered under this energy.  It's about bringing something back.  What is trying to return to you?  Keep in mind that all kinds of things will try to return, but we are selective.  Just because something is returning doesn't mean it is good for us.  Maintain your aim at what is in your highest and best interests and the highest and best interests of the collective of humanity and you will remain true to course.

As the Moon moves out of Libra early today, the "lock" of energy from the Grand Cross begins to ease.  A good deal of the "paralysis" that was built up will lift.  We can facilitate this today by lightening a load or burden.  If you have taken on other people's feelings with something, start with loosening from that.
