On Saturday, Mars will make conjunction with Chiron.  This dynamic can bring strong impulses to lash out at others or ourselves (in the form of self-sabotage).  But energetics are in place instead to push this dynamic toward a massive offensive to clear out old energetic fields of ourselves and the collective of humanity.  Old imprints (the past) are severely disempowered, and space is cleared for the insertion of new imprints (the future).

Ground is not only cleared out, but it is fertilized due to the conjunction of Venus and Neptune on Sunday.  Venus and Neptune bring things to new heights - exaltations.  It is energy that is deeply concerned with beauty and creating beauty, art, music, spirituality, and expression.  We are all dreaming the dream, and Venus-Neptune takes our dream to a whole new level.

To fully experience the beauty of the Venus-Neptune dynamic and the spiritual heights it can take you to, play.  Engage a playful attitude as much as possible given your circumstances this weekend.  We have to disengage ourselves as much as we can from "the matrix" in order to maximize the spiritual connection and inspiration that is possible right now.  Play music to help get there.  If you are a musician, higher forces of the divine feminine and the divine masculine ask you to play this weekend.  Just play and send your sounds out into the air.  If you have a drum, you are asked to take it up.  We are clearing the way for the music of the spheres, the energetic for the upcoming astrological year (which begins April 18, 2015).

The danger zone with these energetics can produce feelings that we are not enough - attractive enough, creative enough, good enough - for whatever and start a downward spiral.  Mars and Chiron are both warriors.  They can strike and wound.  Venus and Neptune try to take the superficial to the sublime, but it can get mired in over-valuing appearances and stuck in social status and judgments.  That's a waste.

It's also a waste to take the perspective that anything you've put a lot of yourself into has been for nothing.  Energy that has been expended can be molded into anything as part the next stage in its evolution.

Most definitely the energetics encourage us to go within this weekend.  Contemplation and reflection bring inspiration and wisdom.  The inspiration and wisdom helps us see the subtle, first light of the daybreak of the future.  Perceptions of the light change.

Speaking of light, Sabaoth (name of the divine being that is the Sun, according to the Gnostics) is showing signs of potential activity for the first time in a couple of weeks.  A few lower-level M-class flare have erupted, but none with coronal mass ejections.  M-flares look to be strengthening now.  Perhaps Sabaoth will send us a message.

Multiple strong astrological aspects are in effect today to bring us inspiration, wisdom, or an experience that may change our lives.  The Universe breathes out so we can breathe it in; we then breathe out so the Universe can breathe us in.  These powerful energies blow through with gale force winds today.

If I had posted a report yesterday, I would have highlighted the severe upswing in mental and emotional confusion, and an overall racking of the brain trying to figure something out or create something.  If you experienced that, some sort of insight or resolution should come your way today.  This is related to the theme that things can change our lives.

As Winds of Change come through, they may wipe things out.  The Wisdom Goddess "on call" this month, Matangi, has a way of doing this.  If a sudden feeling and mantle of power overtakes you to take a stand today, this is Matangi's hand.  She strives to make everyone feel safer and more secure.  She brings anyone who has felt disempowered or victimized (especially by society at large) back into the group.  She has a tender heart for anyone who feels like they belong in the "land of misfit toys."  A lingering signature of this today brings special blessing to any group efforts.  What we do or give in support to others is multiplied under the multiplicity of astrological aspects today in combination with the multitude of Matangi's energies.  We aren't interested in getting something back by giving, we are interested in applying our energy and resources at opportune times for the maximum benefit for all.  It multiples.

Matangi often works in close association with the Mahavidya (Wisdom Goddess ) Shodashi, Goddess of Beauty, who makes an appearance today.  This is fitting for "astrological beauty week" that is courtesy of the conjunction of Venus and Neptune (exact conjunction Sunday).  This ought to be interesting.  It looks to me like the goddesses are gearing up for the Full Moon, but today Shodashi adds her energy for the potentially life-changing effects.  Shodashi moves the lines of our lives into proper course.  She makes marks. 

Shodashi is using the energy of Uranus, the Planet of Changes, in tight conjunction with the South Node and therefore tight opposition to the North Node, which represent the past and the future respectively.  It's all geared toward out-posting and outreaching ourselves into the future.  Everyone should be giving ample thought to where they have been and where they want to go.  The future we want is happening right now at a marking point in the future.  It's happening now and we will experience it then.  The Wisdom Goddesses help us get there.

To handle the gale force today, slow down.  Slow your pace and quiet your mind for a moment.  Open up time and space for a message to find you.  It just might change your life.

(P.S. Mercury is retrograde and will make a conjunction with the Sun once again today.  This is excellent energy for re-working things, but it often comes as a result of malfunction, error, miscommunication, interference, and the fact that the time needs to be right.  Electronics, interpersonal and travel may present challenges.  Remember to slow down.  Mars is moving into conjunction with Chiron, bringing sweeping healing, but I will discuss that more tomorrow.  Venus makes a square with Saturn today.  We will let the Mahavidyas take that one.)

Today is a day of metamorphosis - change of mind set.  Things change shape right before our eyes.

Like wise owls high up in a tree, our eyes watch what unfolds today from different perspective.  The mechanics of the stars are working to transform something from one thing to another.  It's shamanic shape-shifting of the highest caliber.  If we are paying attention, the energy is designed in such a way that before the sun rises again, wisdom enters and we see something about ourselves, others, our lives, or our world entirely differently.  Spiritual energy is inspiring the transformation.

This brings a grand opportunity to empower ideas, projects, goals, visions, missions, wishes, and dreams.  All that is required is attention.  Direct some of your energy into something that you want to bloom.  Take some sort of action with it.  Give it some love.

Creativity is rising to massive peaks, thanks to the muse that accompanies the energy of Mercury retrograde while Venus makes conjunction with Neptune.  This dynamic continues through Sunday.  Lucky us!

We've had a few days lately with energies that harkened back to previous lunar months.  Today the themes from the Aquarius 2014 cycle, which began on January 30, 2014 (remember the Supermoon?) and was in effect for most of February.  Consider this in context to what you didn't think you were capable of then and where you are now.  How has the shape of that shifted with time?

The word for the day is "projection."  This needs to be kept in mind in all things.  In general, there is a tendency to project the good, the bad, and the ugly onto others.  While this may not be what you are doing, someone may do it to you.  Look behind the scene of any dramatic interactions to see if someone was projecting their own feelings about themselves onto others or you.

"Projecting onto screens" is definitely a strong element in the energy right now.  The entire lunar month is about projecting into the future - setting up things that will develop later.  Venus moves into Pisces today, joining Neptune, Mars, and Chiron.  It's a Piscean sea full of love, beauty, creativity, spirituality, initiative, and wisdom. 

There's also a Piscean sea monster with tentacles of gloom, isolation, depression, anger, confusion, and wounding.

We can choose what we project onto the field of consciousness today.  Will we unleash the Kraken or swim like merpeople (mermaids, mermen...)?

Be particularly mindful of what you are watching this week.  I mentioned that this week is like Astrological Beauty Week, so we are naturally inclined towards things that catch our eye.  Television (the projection of a vision or message) screens (insertions to reality) are the primary method for controlling people.  Remember that it is a projection of a certain perspective of reality meant to exploit our natural, mammalian tendency to model or mimic what we see.

Today also foreshadows the next lunar month, with Venus activating the degree today.  Venus will "set-up" events that will unfold with February 18th's New Moon.

What's on display?  That's the thing for each of us to watch in our own lives and in our world today.

(An aside:  In the United States, New England has certainly become a captive audience for what's being projected on television with the shutdown from the anticipated super storm [that wasn't].  This area is on the Arcadia ley line that I've talked about before that has been so heavily imprinted with fear, grief, terror and death - traumas.  This area is ripe for a violence that may be staged as part of this weekend's big football game, since one of the teams hails from New England.  It could also be imprinting an energetic that will repeat at the next New Moon.  This storm was most likely geo-engineered, and poorly so.  Remember the Sabian symbol energetic last week of trying to control the forces of nature?  The new world order has not figured out it cannot control Mother Nature.  But this area has been targeted for a reason, so we watch for what might have been exchanged, orchestrated, or fixed while everyone went home.  The major cities of the Northeast shut down early yesterday.  The Associated Press today reports, "Light snow fell steadily early Tuesday in midtown Manhattan as a few municipal trucks rumbled down empty streets.  The city had an almost eerie, post 9/11 feel to it: No airplanes in the sky.  An unexpected quiet."  Was this a ritual to reinforce past rituals and to set the stage for a future one?  One thing for sure:  whoever owns the trucking companies hired by the state departments of transportation is making a killing from New England to the mid-Atlantic.  Wise owls know to always follow the money.  And the Sabian symbols!)

Today's energy brings in details that enable us to see a bigger picture.  With this, we come into fuller participation with life.

As the details and events of your day unfold, do-overs, interruptions, errors, dropped calls, electronic malfunctions, and loss of data could be encountered.  But these things happen today to help us pick up, process, or re-think important things - things that help us see a bigger picture of ourselves, our lives, our world, our future.  So while these sorts of things seem to set us back or put us behind schedule, they are really advancing a greater cause.  Just having to stop something midstream will re-direct the course of your thinking.  The course of your thinking may have nothing to do with the actual situation that is being halted.  If you experience this today, take a break and let Spirit infuse and guide you.  What wisdom is trying to be revealed to you?

An undercurrent or hint in the energetic today leans toward us finding new ways and doing new things that are a truer representation of who we are.  Things are quite reflective today; there is a linking between the inner and the outer.  How is the inner and outer matching up for you?  Is there something that has been latent, dormant, or altogether forgotten that is trying to return?  What did you love to do in the past that you have not done in a very long time?  What did you love to do (or want to do) as a child?  Would doing it make you happier?

If you do not know the answer to this today, you may know it by Sunday.  Tomorrow begins what I am calling Astrological Beauty Week with Venus moving into Pisces to meet up with Neptune.  Venus and Neptune bring the heights of beauty, but when they converge in Pisces, we have an explosion of creativity!  The most beautiful forms for the future can be envisioned under this energetic.  Any efforts put toward your own personal "adobe mission" - your outreach into your future - will multiply a hundred fold and will fully bloom and yield by October 17, 2015.  (Remember, it's a big picture kind of day, so we are seeing far ahead.)  Beauty Week is good.  The best of it is found in nature.

That's the official end of today's report, but here's more for consideration:

The little element that is not so little with Venus' entry into Pisces tomorrow is that it will begin transiting in opposition to the Black Moon in Virgo.  The Black Moon is transiting Virgo through August 25, 2015.  During this time, we are coming to new understanding about our fear of failure and our fear of being vulnerable.  Some do better with these things than others, and this is indicated through one's astrology chart.  But as Venus transits Pisces through February 20, 2015, we come to a new understanding of how we want to measure up to ourselves.  The measure of who we are is self-determined.

This weekend, we are asked to "post up."

In basketball terms, posting up is turning a certain way so that you can establish a position to receive a pass of the ball.  The Universe asks us to post up and claim our spot so that we can receive spiritual guidance.

This comes as part of the lunar month where we are projecting our plans, ideas, wishes, and selves into the future.  We envision the construct of what that looks like.

 A major component of the construction comes from a foundation, an undercurrent, of our inner wisdom.  Inner wisdom is divinely directed.  As we establish "adobe missions" in the future - outposts where we will arrive later in time, we are reinforcing the structure now with inspiration from Spirit.  This weekend we are posting up to reinforce our outposts.

Old adobe missions are spiritual retreats.  Other names for old adobe missions and spiritual retreats are temples, medicine wheels, churches, groves, schools, farms, vineyards, mountains, beaches, theatres, museums, studios.  What is yours?

It is a good idea this weekend to spend some time in whatever place or space is spiritual for you.  Spirit is sending key insights into matters.  The energy naturally places us in alignment for inner wisdom.  There is a lot happening for our inner contemplation; complex sets of dynamics are in effect.  Here are the highlights:

• Relationships, particularly romantic relationships, are undergoing revision, restructuring, and reassessment.  Changes occur this weekend to bring things to better states.
• Mercury retrograde is acting as a muse, inspiring us with ideas and actions.  The energy is design-oriented and functional.  Mental architecture takes place.
• New things are being built from the past.  All kinds of things are repurposed or even fully restored.  On Saturday, our experiences from the Leo 2014 lunar cycle (July 26 - August 25,  2014) return for a visit and reconsideration.  On Sunday, our experiences from the Pisces 2014 lunar cycle (March 1 - March 29, 2014) follow suit.  Consider all of this in context and look at how those experiences have enabled you to claim more of your power and become who you are today.  (Another element of this energy is a heightened ability to connect with our ancestors.)
• Leaps of faith, discussed at the New Moon of this cycle, may be necessary because the energy shifts quite palpably this weekend.  The Moon catapults into Aries after an energetic journey through shadow lands over the last two days, which is a definite shift.  But both Saturn and Pluto move to new degrees this weekend.  Saturn moves away from energy for strategizing and toward energy that takes us to higher levels.  Pluto moves away from energy for permanent structures and toward energy to heal and raise the spirits of people, particularly children.  (Heads up: The Wisdom Goddess Matangi is getting ready to roll through on those who prey on the weak, disadvantaged, and marginalized.  Whereas the goddess Dhuamavati "sweeps" through the field, Matangi razes it.)

Today, the Sun moves to the degree of "a Hindu healer."  How about we all go forth today with a powerhouse wave of love?

The planets favor it, and there is extra help from Uranus.  Readers who have been following the Oracle Report since last spring know that Uranus has been the main player in the energy and events of the last year.  Today we bid farewell to the energy of Uranus at "a bomb which failed to explode has been safely concealed."  Uranus will not return to this degree in our lifetimes.  The bomb has finally been safely concealed.

Until the hour of the next New Moon (February 18, 2015), Uranus will be disseminating the energy associated with "a serpent coiling near a man and a woman."  Kundalini rising is implied with this symbol, and it is reinforced by the fact that it is Uranus, which rules kundalini and all things electric.  Uranus also rules changes - sudden, shocking, life-altering changes.  This energy attracts, allures, and entices, but it also tends to attract people, places, and things that can obstruct or build a wedge in relationships.  All of this serves to put things into proper order.  Uranus aligns and sets things right.  Serpents bring wisdom.  We will be the better for it by the time the Moon is renewed.  We will have found new ways to relate.

The Moon continues to move through Pisces, activating everyone's shadow sides.  This is in effect until tomorrow morning, Saturday, January 24, around 8:30 am ET/1:30 pm UT.  It is best to keep a gauge on emotional reactions, especially if you are a Virgo or Pisces or have the Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces (see the appendix of my book on the Black Moon available for free download at www.oraclereport.com to determine the sign of your own Black Moon). 

On "Black Moon days," as I call them, if we are under stress or if our astrology chart is being activated, we default to projecting our own thoughts and feelings onto others.  We project onto others that which we cannot face in ourselves.  Be aware that energetic triggers are in place to help us integrate the parts of us that are fragmented.  The Black Moon aims for wholeness and takes full advantage of her opportunities.  The Black Moon is the Queen of the Underworld, and she often takes us down to the bare bones to enlighten us.  Be gentle with yourself if she takes you into her realm.  Remember that you are much more than your emotions.

There is the tendency today to over-do things, which is the quintessential issue with the Black Moon in Virgo (the current location of the Black Moon).  In fact, we tend to "way" over-do things today.  This comes about quickly when a competitive element kicks in.  Competition with oneself is the preferred match for the Black Moon in Virgo.  It staves off feelings of incompetence, incapability, and not measuring up because of some nebulous, inherent flaw.  This flaw is unidentifiable because it does not exist.  It is a shadow.  So we will see through the screens that have us feeling like we cannot do, have, or build what we want.  We are qualified for life by virtue of being here.

It may be helpful today to keep in mind that there is nothing to prove.  Nothing has to be put on display to impress or draw attention.  Bragging about successes, achievements and conquests really turns people off today.  It backfires.  Don't engage that battle.

This is the wisdom needed to go forth today in a powerhouse wave of love.  As the Parliament of Owls, we focus our intent and send it out to the world with a great big bow around it.

Today is the last day of the New Moon phase of this lunar cycle.  According to ancient wisdom, the directive for the days of thee New Moon phase is to set goals and intentions and make wishes (or reinstate previous ones).  So if you have not done this, today is your chance to plant your heart's desire into the field of consciousness.  This month is all about building things, so we want to set them on good foundations - ones that are aligned with and empowered by Divine Time.

There is a caveat here.  The natural time of the energy is one of beginnings.  But today's energetic specifically carries strong signatures of rebellion, giving up, and quitting.  There may be something that we want to walk away from today.  The situation may seem no longer bearable.  But this energetic lasts only for today (with a little bit of bleed through yesterday and tomorrow, since energy moves in waves).  The thing to keep in mind is that the energy will change tomorrow.  Do you want to quit now or wait it out?  The answer is different for each of us.  Consequences need to be kept in mind.

The better use of today's energy is to express it.  Share the wisdom you have gained from a tough life lesson.  Express it through art, music, words, voice, cooking, cleaning - any action.  The foundation for constructing our psyches as "old adobe missions" is knowing what we know.  We build from our deep experiences that engendered wisdom.

Today and tomorrow the Black Moon's energetics become features of what we are building.  It is critical to not weaken the foundation of your adobe mission (your temple, your future) with feelings of failure and disappointment.  These will form cracks in the foundation.  This is especially true for those with the Sun in Virgo or Pisces or the Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces.  These wise owls are spiritual carpenters by nature, but their skills of strength are re-tested and re-formed while the Moon is in Virgo or Pisces through August 25, 2015.  Remember that fears of failure and vulnerability are shadows that attempt to hold us back.  Failure is only more information to make a better decision or get to a better outcome.  Failure means "more data required."  Some decisions or outcomes are so monumental that they require a lot more data, which means a lot more failure.  Failure is acceptable.  Letting "failure" stop us is not.

From the intensity that is being generated by the astrological aspects in play, a drive from deep within us come to strive for something new.  We get a glimpse of a vision of something and want to strive for it.  This is coming from the inner part of us that is called the sacred masculine.  It is prompted internally and then manifested externally through our desires.

Take what you have learned thus far and put it into context of desire.  Where do you want to project yourself?  What does the future you want look like?  On which values is it based?  Where does it feed?  What new thing needs to happen now to make it happen later?

She makes swift work of it, too.  Think about the steps it would take to get you where you want to be and put it out to Matangi.  She takes care of business.)

We have a day of potential extremes on tap.  The nature of the energy is stormy and unexpected.  Shocking things can happen suddenly and test our inner fortitude.  Wise owls know that responses that are above and beyond the normal limits or the call to duty may be required all month long, but especially today. 

This usually entails leaving our comfort zone.  We are stretching ourselves beyond where we have been because we are building "outposts."  We are out-posting or out-reaching ourselves into the future.  As the old system flails and fails, a new one is re-emerging with a twist.  The wisdom of the ancients returns to a now technologically-advanced collective of humanity.  Imagine the possibilities.  (Actually imagine them - the mission of the New Moon phase is to set intentions and insert hopes, wishes, and dreams into the field.  This is how we shape reality or co-create with Spirit.  It all starts or stops with desire, so do not discount what your heart is saying to you.)

Mercury will station retrograde (or appear to move backward in the sky) today.  Long-time readers know that the day a planet stations retrograde or direct is usually intense, hectic, and chaotic.  When Mercury stations direct, interpersonal communications, electronic communications, electronics in general, and travel are the areas where challenges surface.  Allowing extra time, having plenty of patience, and sometimes walking away and coming back later is the best advice.  Mercury retrograde always makes things better than they are, but it is rarely on our preferred time schedule.  We have to wait until it is time for things to be "unlocked" or "activated."

In the meantime, the parliament of wise owls is testing out the theory that Mercury retrograde is a muse and we are aiming to be amused by it (in other words try to have fun with it as much as possible).  The energy seeks to inspire something that is pivotal to your future.  In this month's audio recording I talked about how there are certain safeguards and protections that accompany this Mercury retrograde to make sure we get the messages.  If forward momentum slows or if your best laid plans are laid to waste, step back and let the field re-arrange.  Let Mercury put a new spin on things.  Let him spiff them up.

As we are trying to do things a different way, we want to discern if we are compromising ourselves in any situations and/or just going through the motions.  The energy is not supportive of any part of the past that is organized around power and control dynamics.  This month, these types of dynamics play out in relationships (personal, professional, familial) in order for us to clearly see what is happening.  Demands for attention or to be the center of attention are strong today.  Jealousy easily rears its ugly head.  Competition can get ugly.

A warning comes for the most challenging part of the day, the hour between 2:30-3:30 pm ET/ 7:30 - 8:30 pm UT, when the Moon will oppose Jupiter in the midst of the already-chaotic energy.  A chain of events could tip off and send frustration, impatience, and control to extreme levels.  Emotional outbursts, blow ups, or breakdowns are trying to liberate energy that has been pent up.  Our job is to moderate extremes so that things don't become too untethered.

Mercury is our muse, not our enemy today, or at least that is the test.  If you feel tested yourself today, reach beyond your normal limits.  Don't hold yourself back or hide your light.  You are needed.

The New Moon that offers energy to create the Second Renaissance begins today.  The infrastructure of our future is forming.

The New Moon is in Aquarius and Aquarius energy dances an electric dance.  It is ruled by Uranus, the planet that has been the key factor in what has developed in the world and in our lives since March of 2014 (the beginning of the current astrological year).  Uranus storms through with lightning bolts and high volts of change.  He moves swiftly, decisively, unpredictably, and shockingly.  We've all been struck by lightning in some way or ways over the past year.

Uranus is masterful, however, in that the energy catalyzes whatever needs to happen in order for us to be in proper alignment with what is in our highest and best interests.  My teacher always says "Uranus puts you where you need to be."

Along that (electrical) line, this month we are putting things in place that need to be put in place.  This includes plans, links, relationships, projects, ideas, expressions, havens, gatherings - anything and everything that contributes to a world that is aligned with nature.  Sanity returns when we are more naturally-aligned.

Worlds do clash today when people feel that their way is the best and only way.  A "know-it-all" attitude only causes people to turn away.  The goal is acceptance and even reverence for everyone's right to freely make choices and freely speak.  This issue develops all month long and will no doubt be manipulated by anyone dominated by an internal struggle for power and control to maximize propaganda and conflict between people.  This happens at the global level of the world and the individual level of our lives.  Petty tyrants tend to show out.

Today's events foreshadow the issues and experiences of the upcoming month, especially as a "revisiting" of the past or feeling that the past is happening again.  The energy of the Black Moon brings opportunities to do things a different way.  We can get off the merry-go-round.

To do this, we might have to go in a radically different direction - way beyond what we have normally experienced.  Leaps of faith may be in heavy demand.

Today's energy is erratic and somewhat chaotic, so be prepared to ride the electric waves.  And remember what it truly is - energy to create the future.

Today is the last day of the lunar cycle that was designed to help us claim more of ourselves, more of our power, and more of our heart's desires.  Much internal work has been done this month, and much wisdom has been gained.

Today, all of the effort, energy, and resources that we have devoted to reach this point serves to break down barriers between people, places, and things.  The underlying drive is to unite people, places, and things.  This is a strong motivator today and a strong support for any endeavors that are intended to uplift the collective of humanity.

Energy to break down barriers within relationships is also winding its way through things.  But there is a special element that addresses our relationship with our self.  The energy wants us to break through illusions that we have about ourselves.  This is especially true regarding our outlook on life.  The energy wants us to switch from focusing on what's impossible to what is possible.  The way things are now is not the way they will remain.  The "year of change" continues until April 17, 2015, so there is much more to come.  Don't put a final judgment on anything.  Don't succumb to gloom.  Radical transformation is still underway.

During Balsamic Moon phases we are preparing the field of consciousness, weeding it of negativity and anything that would choke out the seeds of love that we plant with the New Moon.  The powers of imagination and visualization are most potent during the Balsamic Moon, so we can fertilize the future with our outlook or we can deplete it before it begins.  Watch your mind and don't be taken off course by the signature of energy that tries to trick us into seeing only disappointment and disillusionment.  Infuse good things into the field of your consciousness because good things are trying to crop up next month, which begins tomorrow.

Be aware that there is also a strong "behind the scenes" component to today's energy.  At the lowest octave, this comes in the form of back-door dealings.  The highest octave involves us giving and receiving the help we need.  In particular, assistance from trusted, knowledgeable friends with certain expertise or aptitude in a certain area helps things become better than they are.  Big projects and intentions are most affected by this.

Behind the scenes in the sky, Mercury is preparing to move retrograde on Wednesday.  Mercury is pretty much stationary right now, holding tight at the degree of "a watchdog standing guard, protecting his master and his possessions."  This energetic heightens our vigilance to our surroundings.  It also offers a beacon, a lantern, a guide. 

I will go a step beyond this and say that, ultimately, Mercury is going to be our muse for the next few weeks while he is retrograde.  Maybe he always has been our muse while he moves retrograde, but we fail to see it as such at the time.  Perhaps Mercury retrograde is not mayhem at all but a process of a muse?  It might be amusing to test this idea and review it when Mercury stations direct.

As we break down anything that diminishes the richness of the soil in the field of our personal and collective consciousness today, let's offer appreciation to spiritual forces greater than ourselves that have guided us all month long.  I view this as appreciation for the force of Kali in particular this month, but it is all Oneness and the sentiment is the same regardless of how it is packaged. 

It is good to recognize our place in the assembled tribe of creation, but better to recognize that the creation is much bigger than us.

The last Moon phase of the lunar cycle, the Balsamic phase, is the mystical time.  It's the time of heightened connection with spirit.  Our inner world comes alive.

Our inner world has been quite active this entire month, courtesy of the energy that would cause an Indian chief, theretofore unrecognized, to claim power from his assembled tribe.  This month has been about something deep inside of us changing, causing us to stand up for ourselves - to see more of ourselves or see ourselves more clearly, to take better care of ourselves, to try and do the right thing, to be greater than we are.  This upright movement continues our proper alignment with destiny.

The weekend's energy brings opportunities to bring people, places, and things together - even people, places, and things that are very far apart.  We can close the gap.  Finding common ground and acceptance is a good start for this.

Other elements strongly challenge the status quo.   Disruptions and conflicts are riding just under the surface.  Chain reactions are easily set off.

The power of words is enhanced under this weekend's energetics.  We are also more inclined to blurt things out.  This combination means we need to be extra aware of what we are saying.  Don't get carried away.  The power of propaganda is heightened.

Heights of spiritual connection are also attained with the astrological aspects underway.  Flurries of inspiration and insight fill the air.  We catch more of them when we spend time outdoors.  Mental confusion and cloudiness is also helped.

Decision-making is, once again this week, not highlighted.  The differences between choices is not clear or maybe not even present at this time.  Our skills of discernment are not sharp right now, so wait until things become clearer before taking action, if possible.

Today's energetics tend to cause things to become a bit chaotic, congested, and confused.  Wise owls strive for calm, cool, and collected.

It helps to understand that a powerful astrological dynamic is in place (the "window of time" I referred to earlier this week).  This dynamic comes from Mars' conjunction with Neptune and the Black Moon opposing both of them.

I will discuss this in more detail in the audio recording scheduled to go up later today because the dynamic will still be in place at the New Moon on Tuesday.  This means the imprint will last throughout the upcoming lunar month.  So what is happening now is going to unfold through February 17, 2015.

In particular, whatever transpires today foreshadows what we will be "revising" and "reworking" during Mercury's retrograde because today Venus reaches the degree in the sky where Mercury will turn retrograde.  Venus will "tip" things off that will unfold through February 11, 2015.

All of this means we note the themes, patterns, and imprints today because these things will develop and evolve over the next month.  We are getting a look ahead - a look through a window in time.

Keep in mind that when Mars and the Black Moon come together in the way they are now, tremendous energy to either battle or create is unleashed.  Mars and the Black Moon are god and goddess of the battlefield AND the god and goddess of the creation field.  Oftentimes the two overlap, especially in a lunar month ruled by the Wisdom Goddess Kali, who is prone to destroy and recreate. 

The combination of Mars and the Black Moon often sparks arguments and confrontations between people.  It can be quite volcanic.  The eruptions usually clear the air, but with Neptune involved, this is not the case.  The situation will turn into something else by the end of the next lunar month.  The watery nebulousness of Neptune morphs things and takes them to new places.

The complexity of today's energy is enhanced by feelings of needing to push thing farther.  This all too easily gets us in over our heads today because we want to do or know or experience more.  It is best to maintain perspective and not take things to an extreme.  Striving for some "ideal" or "ultimate" will box us in and reinforce the chaos, confusion, and congestion elements in effect.  Wise owls keep it real.

A general lightening of the Capricorn energy comes today with the Sun moving to the degree in the sky of the symbol "a nature spirit dancing in the mist of a waterfall."  A certain effervescence pervades the day, and along with it an offering of wisdom that we need about ourselves and our lives.

At any point today, if things start to become heavy, cumbersome, or stuck, shift the energy by lightening up the situation in some way.  Humor, creativity, playfulness, and fun are good ways to do this.  Balance will return and progress can be made.  But first we have to recognize that things are becoming mired and weighed down before we can shift out of it.  It's an excellent opportunity to practice "merging the two worlds" in a real way.

In many ways, there are two worlds in play today.  One "world" asks that we be ultra-responsible, decisive, and efficient.  The other "world" wants us to share, express, deliberate, and then create.  Conflicts and push/pull dynamics can result from the collision of the two worlds.  Today's misty waterfall could become an outright deluge.  Maintaining respect for others and their beliefs and opinions will alleviate the potential flood.

But it's really not a good day to have to make big decisions or moves.  There is a lot of fence sitting and mending of fences with things up in the air.  But if you must make a decision or move, call for reinforcements - for back-up.  Talk it over with someone first to make sure you are seeing things as clearly as possible. 

Clarity about external, worldly things is hard to reach today.  Clarity about internal, spiritual things abounds because key information that we need is floating in the air like bubbles.

Mercury and Venus remain in conjunction until Mercury stations retrograde next week on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.  When Venus and Mercury are conjunct (in the same place in the sky), we re-evaluate our relationships.  Thoughts, feelings, and projections about our relationships are in focus.  The ways we balance and nurture our relationships undergo revision.  Power and control dynamics within relationships try to equalize.  This will continue while Mercury is retrograde through February 11, 2015, just in time for Valentine's Day.

What will effervesce for you today?  Lighten up and see what happens.

Today, an astrological configuration opens a window of time when action that is undertaken has deep, lasting effects on the future.

The astrological configuration responsible for this is a square between Mars and Saturn.  The key to understanding the nature of the configuration comes from looking at two things: the Sabian symbols of the degrees in the sky where the planets are located and the type of square the planets are making.

The Sabian symbol for Mars is "a petrified forest" and the Sabian symbol for Saturn is "two men playing chess."  This combination gives us the energy of lasting moves, monumental plans, and long-term strategy.  The energetic "imprints" the present into the future.

But deeper wisdom tells us more about the nature of the astrological event.  The type of astrological square that two planets are making is a First Quarter square - and all you need to know about that is it is the energy of stepping out.  It's about taking action and implementing ideas.  The ideas aren't new - the action is.  The energetic is just like a First Quarter Moon phase when the mission is to step out and take action.  We go out on branches and do dances.  We break away.  In the cycle of life, this is when we begin to see change and growth.  It's a powerful time, but also a vulnerable time, because we step away from the way things have been - the way of the past.  This past is known.  The future is only somewhat known.

Because Mars and Saturn are the planets most in effect today, the essence of the energy is masculine and can become aggressive and controlling.  The window of time that opens is in effect until the New Moon (Tuesday, January 20, 2015).  The window can intensify war/terror/control dynamics that have already been present this month.  Paris is highlighted again.  Tunnels are also highlighted.  "Attack on or by the feminine in tunnels in Paris for the strategic purposes of assuming power and resources" would be my exact interpretation of the Sabian symbols in play.  Keep in mind that the energy is archetypal.

The unknown component of the energetic is it has strong spiritual elements and that there two "guardian angels" bringing protection.  These are the emissaries or faces of the goddess embodied as the Earth, Gaia Sophia.  The emissaries are the Wisdom Goddesses Kali and Shodashi.  They are bringing a special kind of enlightenment to the scene.  This light is invisible to us, but nonetheless potent.  It stirs the "inner chief" inside each of us to claim our personal power and our personal place.  It helps us make the changes we need to make.  It helps us live happier.  It helps us paint the Second Renaissance.  It helps us connect more deeply with the source of our collective dream - the planet herself.

So deep, lasting changes are underway as yet one more window in time opens.  We focus on the positive imprint that we make on the future today.  Since this report is about what is going on behind the scenes, please rely on the keywords listed above to anticipate the nature of events and energies we are likely to experience or encounter in our lives.  Keep things framed in the mindset of stepping out of the old boundaries and limitations and stepping into action for greater fulfillment of plans, dreams, and intentions.

Positive Imprint: privacy, spiritual retreat, passage, changes in the winds, relief from pressure, sensitivity to all levels of energy and environment, dedication, values

Strong energetics are in place today that tempt us to hide away, but the best thing to do is to do it a different way.  The wisdom is to be like a wise owl in a tree in observation and contemplation.

Mars has moved out of Aquarius and into Pisces  joining Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, and opposing the Black Moon in Virgo.  Today we are processing things internally - processing our plans, ideas, and how we feel about them.  We are looking at the bigger picture of things and measuring them.  We are fine-tuning the sensitivity of our "inner gauges."  When we move our attention inward, we observe from a different perspective.  From this vantage point, we see how to do things a different way.  This leads to better outcomes.  So today's energy heavily favors inner work leading to better outer work, and our inner world leading to a better outer world. 

Mars in Pisces wants to bring us to the heights of creativity, so follow his lead if your inner world calls you to create.

As the lunar month continues, Kali, the aspect of Gaia Sophia who has been on duty this month, asks us to dedicate ourselves to something today - something for the future.  She determines the Measures of Time, so the future could be one minute from now, one hour from now, one month from now, or one year from now.  While spending time in inner contemplation, it is a good idea to listen to the stirrings of Kali for insight.

Saturn has now moved from the tumultuous degree of "an ocean covered with whitecaps" to "two men playing chess."  The unnatural world order used this (and other) energy for overt power plays and mass mind-washing with Europe's (mightily weakened) version of 9/11 .  Subtle power plays are happening, too; wise owls are watching the banksters' plays as they attempt to divert attention from scandal and theft.  But there is no new story here.  They are recycling the same story, with the same characters even.  Their strategy is the same old strategy.

Archons are not inventive, but we are!  We do things a different way today - all kinds of things.  We go within to the deep, creative void and come back with treasures.  We are holding the line and building the future from ancient blueprints.  Humanity is claiming its power and turning away from the control dynamics. 

We are a tribe of many, but we are our own chief.

The Disseminating Moon phase enters today.  This is the time of the lunar month that is naturally-attuned to communicating our thoughts, feelings, and ideas with others and listening to others' thoughts, feelings, and ideas.  It's a time of feedback, and we often receive it in subtle ways through symbols and synchronicities.  The Universe tries to deliver us messages.

All of this is heightened today with the Sun reaching the degree of the Sabian symbol "a hidden choir singing during a religious service."

So wise owls will pay attention to what's going on in the background - background noise, background conversation.  But let's also look for signs and messages in other ways - ways that show that a hidden hand is at work.  Animal sightings are major indicators.  If you are newer to the Oracle Report, I often recommend Ted Andrews' book Animal Speak for interpreting messages from the Animal Kingdom.

There is an element in play with this where we can listen to vocals or music and be taken on a ride (float) to a higher frame of consciousness.  The "place" we are taken enables us to receive and understand the message that is trying to reach each of us today.  The message is related to this lunar month's theme of stepping into more of who we really are - stepping straighter into our personal power.  We are claiming more of ourselves and claiming more of the dream we are collectively dreaming.

"All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream" (Edgar Allan Poe) and today our dream wants to move towards a fantasy.  Day-dreaminess accompanies the energy, helping us to be in an intuitive, receptive state of mind, and therefore well-positioned to be in range to receive messages from "on high."  The way our dreamy stream of consciousness runs tells us much.  Where does your attention  keep drawing you?

As Kali's lunar month continues, energetics continue to help us awaken to a greater sense of ourselves.  Things are trying to be expressed, birthed, and transmuted.  Our value systems are being overhauled and restored in a new way.  New ways of fulfillment are being found.  New standards are being set.  Many new things are emerging.

The Moon made conjunction with the Black Moon earlier today, so those with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces will feel the effects.  This is one of the eighteen stages of rebirth for these particular wise owls and it happens twice a month while the Black Moon transits Virgo (through August 25, 2015).  Shadow sides come out for healing and integration during these stages. 

Everyone's personal Black Moon is activated today and tomorrow, but it is most pronounced for those with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces.  People in general tend to project their own core fear (as identified by the natal Black Moon - see the Appendix of my free e-book at www.oraclereport.com/books) onto others.  What someone is telling you may very well be about themselves.  Issues related to feelings of failure and success, incapability and capability, and trust and mistrust (of others and self), as well as spiritual disconnectedness and connectedness are thematic.

The nature of today's energy is to push things beyond their normal or specified limits.  We find ourselves going above and beyond what is usual or expected because we are seeking something more.  Care should be taken to ensure that things do not become overloaded - that we and others are not overloaded.

Without awareness, the day would typically progress like this:  For some reason personal to each of us, we would begin to take on more and more today.  This would be more and more of anything - responsibilities, tasks, feelings, beliefs, duties, food, etc.  This would build all day, causing considerable imbalance.  Then, the Moon will move into Virgo this evening, activating the Black Moon and disseminating energy that makes us feel like we are a failure, that we are not capable of what we thought, and that we are repeating mistakes.  After this sets in, we would "carry" the residue of it until the Moon moves out of Virgo Sunday at 11:00 am ET/4:00 pm UT.  That's a lot of days feeling of feeling down on ourselves.

It would be a waste, so since we are wise to it, let's not do it this way.  In fact, there is a beautiful energetic signature in play today with Venus that promotes finding new ways.  The desire for new ways is strong.

The solution to the dilemma is to maintain balance.  Balance work and play today.  Do as good of a job as you can when it is time for work, but factor in time for play/relaxation.  If you tend to over-do the work side of things generally, factor in extra play/relaxation time today to compensate.  And, if we are really wielding the energy, we can find ways to blend work and play together so there is not such a stark contrast.  This is achieved with a playful attitude mixed with respect for responsibilities.  We take things seriously, but we keep it real. 

Sometimes people take their worlds too seriously.  If no one is bleeding or breaking down, it will probably be alright.  Maintain perspective.  Remember what is truly valuable.

As we are looking for ways to do things differently today, we also gather a lot of information.  We see how we can combine certain things to make them better or more efficient.  We see how we can re-purpose things.  How is an old purpose made new again?  What can be salvaged for restoration?  How can it be modified to become current or functional?  How can it be more relevant?

The energy also motivates us to express things today.  Creative expressions, heartfelt expressions, and physical expressions try to surface today.  Things that have been churning under the surface are coming out.  It's a wonderful day to bring something inside of you to the outer world.

A note on yesterday's report and the shootings in Paris, as I had many people email me with questions.  I do not know that the London-based arm of the archontically-controlled new world order minions are responsible.  I posed the question and a possible answer.  Certainly the shooters did not follow typical jihadi-style protocols because they were alive to leave the scene.  Most real jihadis blow themselves up.  I think this is more about creating an event to distract from the fact that Prince Andrew has been implicated in the global human sex trafficking network (and possibly ensaring the Clintons as well).  All of this is courtesy of Kali.  If you did not catch that this has come out, here is a (poorly edited) mainstream media account:

I am aware that there are reports that the attack was perpetrated by Mossad, but Mossad was created by London/Rothschild and is still controlled by London/Rothschild.  The whole nest of vipers is controlled by London/Rothschild, thus my noting that the Sun reached the degree of the Sabian symbol of "the Union Jack flies over a new British warship" yesterday.  Let's keep our eyes on the bigger picture.

This is the Sabian symbol for the degree of the Sun today - 18 Capricorn.  Have the UK-variety new world order Illuminati minions left their calling card in Paris with the attack at the magazine office?

State-run media here in the US seems to have a ready-made narrative to explain it all to us.

The parliament of wise owls looks deeper.  We know that the Sabian symbols are a code to explain the mechanics of the evolution of consciousness.  We also know that forces that stand opposed to free humanity enact certain events (rituals) at specific times when energetics are most favorable - like a false flag attack when the Sun reaches the degree of the symbol for empire.  The energy to dominant comes when the Sun reaches 18 Capricorn.

There is more.  Venus is located at the degree of the symbol for ritual: "a masked figure performs ritualistic acts in a mystery play."  Our eyes are wide open, not wide shut.

And, truly, our eyes are on other things - like forming the infrastructure of the future as the worlds of spirit and matter are enchanted to merge.  Our focus is on the precedents of the past that are returning to consciousness.  This is the return of wisdom and comes from the formation of all kinds of things based on wisdom - things like mystery schools (which are spreading like a wildfire that has been meditated upon by fire worshippers to create an ultimate reality of existence). 

But back to the energetics of the day.  Mercury, which is still in range of conjunction with Venus, is located at the symbol for precedent: "a council of ancestors."  This energy connects with the past, so it gives the Illuminati minions a well of past imprints to tap back into.  The power of anything depends on how often and how strongly attention is given to it.  Therefore, today's attack in Paris has not only built upon past events when the Sun was at this degree, but also imprints it for the future.  It happens through ritual.

You could even take this further and, in a contemporary sense, make a case for France being the place where independence first bloomed and where the union of the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine has remained spirited, and England being the place where domination first hissed and where the schism between feminine and masculine has remained demonic.

England is also where the Magna Carta was birthed, so there is always an energetic that runs counter (positive) and available to build upon.

Anyone who understands this has a natural response to want to counter it.  Today, we counter this first by the mere recognition of it.  It takes a strong person - a wise owl - to be able to see this senseless violence perpetrated and know that it is reinforcing a long line of dark rituals.  But some of us humans have to be able to see it and hold the line so that other humans can do it, too.  Perception is a species-wide thing, so when we see the reality of what is happening, others follow.  It's how cognitive dissonance is overcome.

Second, we will shift our focus to one of sustenance - what sustains, what lasts.  We will continue painting the Second Renaissance into being.  We infuse the energetics of the day with a different imprint.  We "over write" the "program" with an energetic that overcomes domination.  This imprint throws off the power and control of empire.  Empires have fallen before.  We are watching it happen now.  Today's attack in Paris won't have the intended effect because the force behind it is weakened.  Imprints of love, beauty, and freedom are much, much stronger nowadays.  More on that another day...

As we go about life today, wise owls will continue to firmly anchor and imprint the positive elements of the energies.  We are an assembled tribe and this is our daily ritual.  We claim our power.

(Note:  It is interesting to me how photographs with pairs of animals are being snapped lately.  The wise owls who sent today's photo report that they have at times four pairs of swans at once.  Yesterday, I was gifted with the rare sighing of four pairs of cardinals in one tree.  Cardinals are my favorite, so imagine my delight!  Yesterday's photo was of a pair of owls who let Kim get very, very close to them on her deck.  Pay special attention to sightings of pairs.)

Full Moon Phase: illumination, realization, fulfillment

Negative Imprint: over-analysis, ignoring rules or laws, things that are unbearable, restraints, rushing, missing key things, forcing, suppression of rebellion, false claims of power and change, clandestine

Positive Imprint: objectivity, inventiveness, identifying issues, focus, practice, disinhibited, slow and steady, observation, potent healing, confidence

Full light continues to be thrown off and also throw things off this Full Moon phase.  We are coming to new understandings about ourselves and this is rippling out into the field, changing it.  This is how the world changes.

What is trying to be revealed to you?  It may be having a harder time getting through because, even though it is a Full Moon phase right now, the Black Moon and Neptune are in opposition.  The Black Moon and Neptune together tend to shroud and mystify.  So if you are trying to understand, fix, improve, and integrate something and it isn't coming quite happening, don't try to rush or force it.  Relax the tension. Take a breath.  Wait for the fog to clear.

With this, it is important to understand that we may attempt to blame the hold-up or lack of clarity on ourselves.  We are clearly seeing our "major malfunctions."  The solutions are what aren't easily visible right now.  We personalize this, but the nature of this energy is one of "veiling."

The reason solutions aren't clear is because there is re-arrangement of "the field" happening this lunar cycle - Kali the Destroyer's cycle.  Using the energetics of Uranus/Pluto and Mercury/Venus, she is putting everything in spin.  Consciousness is taking a mass turn.  She is refreshing the dream, re-commanding it by calling forth our inner chief to claim our power and our place.

Our inner sacred masculine continues to rise.  The inner rise and outer manifestation of the sacred masculine within all of us is what is healing us and restoring us to sanity.  This energy is very, very strong now because we are in the Full Moon phase (the fullest expression) of the energy that was imprinted back at the New Moon.  The energy that was infused then to be time-released throughout the month is the energy that would cause an Indian chief to assume his role, his mantle of power, within his tribe.  It causes him to come forward to lead.

This is why things are welling up in relationships.  Power and control dynamics are responding to this shift, this mass turn, and changing things dramatically.  All things are in relationship, so this weaves through everything.  Kali is the master at this and her reach is great.  The changes are creating strong, permanent foundations for the future. 

Kali doesn't just destroy.  She re-creates.

Today, be aware of the tendency to be extra hard on ourselves and become mired in our perceived failures.  This energy can create harsh confrontations with ourselves which can all too easily become projected onto others.  This commonly occurs with Full Moon phases, but is intensified today. 

Kali is in control of the hands of time right now, not us.  There is no reason to rush or force anything.  It is much more fun to release the controls and watch what happens.
