Mars moves into geometric alignment (via a square or 90 degrees of separation) with Uranus today.  Mars moved to the 21st degree of Cancer at 9:19 am ET/ 1:19 pm UT, beginning the exact square to Uranus.  If you have been following the Oracle Report this week, you know that Uranus is located at 21 Aries, which is the Eris Point or the location in the sky where the planet Eris (the planet beyond Pluto) was when it was discovered.  In essence, 21 Aries encapsulates the full force of the archetypal energy of Eris, the Goddess of Rebirth, the Goddess of the Battlefield, the Goddess who is unified of her dark and light.  So when we are looking at the energetics of the Mars-Uranus square today, we are also looking at the energetics of Eris.

Mars rules war.  Uranus rules revolution and freedom.  Eris rules rebellion and rebirth.

On another level, Mars rules the ability to take powerful, decisive action.  Uranus rules alignment with the path to freedom.  Eris rules the process of releasing the past so that the new can enter.  Combined, these are the components of renaissance.

A key element to today's energy is an affront to our sense of worthiness.  Strong negative thoughts about ourselves (or are projected onto others) that play like a loop try to latch on and pummel us.  It is an attempt to weaken our minds.  Weakened minds are ripe for insertion of false realities through the manipulation of FEAR.

So we as wise owls move out of that today.  If fear surfaces, see it for what it is and let it pass through you.  Feel it.  It may make you cry.  But it is not you.  Those thoughts are untrue.  They are a trick of shadow beings that want us to be sad and dissatisfied.  Meanwhile, life passes by and an opportunity to expand our understanding is missed.  We become so mind-focused that the beauty of life, which surrounds us at all times, goes unnoticed and untouched.

Today, we are aware of the potential for dramatic events in the world.  But we are not focused on it.  We are not "waiting" for it.  We will respond if necessary, but until then we do what we do: stay grounded, keep it real, and find beauty.  Amplify as needed.

An activation of our minds comes with today's conjunction of the Sun and Mercury.  Insights, solutions, and revelations come to us.

The Sun and Mercury make a mad dash out of Cancer and into Leo, making conjunction at 3:13 pm ET/7:13 pm UT at 01 Leo and the Sabian symbol of "under emotional stress, blood rushes to a man's head."  We aim for calming our reactions and taking a more objective view. 

Objectivity may be easier to arrive at knowing that Uranus is setting things straight in our lives.  Some of the changes may feel devastating now, but the silver lining will emerge when all of the things that need to be in place have been arranged.  Uranus re-works the field of consciousness so that things are righted.  Uranus will deliver a blow powerful enough to disturb the field enough for change to occur.  Mars will collaborate with Uranus tomorrow, empowering the energy for "righting and realigning."  Returning to balance and sanity is the goal.

All of these dynamics are designed to lift us into new situations and territory that are better for us.  Surrendering to the electrical currents of Uranus, the sustaining life force of the Sun, the heart fires of Mars, the dazzling mind of Mercury, and the guiding beacon of Eris is our aim over the next four days.

To do this, it's important to stay centered and grounded while these energetics blow through.  People, places, and things may get crazy.  This is essentially a wave of energetics that is coming in like a south wind, which can bring out the crazy.  This wind is usually warm (or hot), increasing potential for irritability, impatience, and compulsions.  We amplify acceptance, patience, and clarity.

We stand aside for these stellar dynamics to influence the field and change the nature of our lives and our world.  We fluidly move around obstacles.  We withhold judgment of sudden events, knowing that a second side, a silver lining, will develop.  Magic is happening on the "small island in the South Seas."

Wings of wise owls sway with the front of a breeze today, as heavier energetics prepare to enter tomorrow. 

A wave is building all day with the Moon loading toward opposition with Uranus.  As Uranus prepares to station retrograde on Sunday, it stands almost at full stationary stop (attention).  Uranus is actually beaming out the frequency of the archetypal energies of the planet Eris because Uranus is located at the degree (21 Aries) where the planet Eris was located when it was discovered.  The energetic frequency of 21 Aries is rebirth and renaissance and all things aligned with the value and love for life, including the life of our planet, Sophia, and everything within the her mind -- her dream.  It is the circle of life itself.  A beacon of this lights up with the Moon's exact opposition with Uranus overnight at 3:15 am ET/6:15 am UT (July 23) and ushers in a time of a grand drama in the dream we are all co-dreaming.

The themes of Uranus are: realignments toward what is better for us, change, surprise, shocks, electricity, being saved by our rejections and being placed exactly where we need to be.  This is the outcome, no matter what happens.  This is the guarantee of Uranus.

The mission today is to "float on the breeze," so to speak, and be as light as a feather.  This is a special skill because being "light-hearted" while at the same time being present and vigilant to changing dynamics requires the transcendence of fear.  "Light-hearted" and "fear" do not go hand in hand.  So anything that is trying to stir fear and direct our attention away from the REAL story of what's happening - unification.  Unification of all things is happening.  Unification of the hemispheres of our brains, unification with our inner masculine and feminine, unification of divine forces, unification of science and spirit, unification of creativity and expression...it is endless and miraculous.

Today we are going where the wind takes us, but we carry with us the knowledge of the sequence of energetics that are upcoming:

THURSDAY, JULY 23: Mercury conjuncts the Sun at "under stress blood rushes to a man's head" (we will want to control our reactions)

FRIDAY, JULY 24: Mars squares Uranus with Mars at "a prima donna singing" and Uranus at, of course, "a boxer entering the ring" (powerful voices unite to reach a higher level of understanding).  Heightened alert for this day since the last time a Mars was aspecting a masculine planet was last week with the opposition to Pluto and the attack in Tennessee.  Mars will square Uranus, another masculine energetic, but one that is walking alongside the Goddess energy because Uranus is at the Eris Point.

SATURDAY, JULY 25: Venus stations retrograde at "in a painting, the best features and traits of a man are idealized" (a process of recognizing our delusions and illusions about ourselves, others, and the world at large begins to unfold through September 6)

SUNDAY, JULY 26: Uranus stations retrograde at "a boxer entering the ring" (a process of rising above conflict to bring a better way begins to unfold through December 25/26)

To repeat, today we are going where the wind takes us, immersing ourselves in the natural world as much as possible, and wise to the times.

The "turning point" that is occurring this month makes steady progress today.  The old, crumbling world (along with the ways and feelings of the past) meets head-on with the force of the new, rebirthing world and the hopes and ideals for the future.  History is being made right now, right in front of us.  Each of us is part of it.

So, there are two ways two view today's events and energies: with old "3D/4D thinking" and with renewed "5D thinking."  Here's an exercise.  These are the primary Sabian symbols for today.  Think about them from the fear-based (old world) interpretation.  Then start over and think about them from the love/oneness-based (rebirthed world) interpretation.  If you are not very familiar with astrology, just focus on the symbols, not necessarily the planet that is discharging the energy:

EARTH : "directors of a large firm meet in secret conference"

MERCURY: "a violent storm in a canyon filled with expensive homes"

VENUS: "in a portrait, the best traits of a man are idealized"

In the old paradigm of consciousness, this day is a plate of tasty treats for actions and intentions that control, enslave, and dominate the world.  Though the old system is falling, it still holds some degree of structure.  For this reason, today we watch all types of markets and economies, the heightened potential for forwarding terror in order to control, and weird Illuminati ritualistic behavior.  News about secret deals, insider trading, theft of treasuries, etc. can come to light.

In the Second Renaissance of consciousness, the Spirit of Liberty floats through the air, filling every place and space.  Bonds of love for the planet and for the fellowship of humanity are forming.  A sanctification of the value of life is happening.  Illusions are coming down.  Stagnancy is breaking free.  Fronts of eminence are falling.

A magnetic filament on the Sun erupted yesterday, ejecting some of its mass into space.  The coronal mass ejection occurred early Sunday morning (July 19) at 3:00 am ET/7:00 am UT.  At the time, the Moon was located at 03 Virgo 07 and the Sabian symbol of "black and white children playing happily together." 

With the CME, the Sun delivered energy that enables us to see through illusions of difference and separation.  It super-empowered the dynamic of unity and disempowered the dynamic of division.  Certainly this also furthered Sunday's mission of losing our personal illusions (see Archives).  In many ways, as this wave of energy rolls through, the "black and white" of situations -- the facts -- reign.  Major psychological adjustments accompany this energetic.

How timely for the Sun to release a CME that promotes unity and happiness between races when so much racism was trying to be pushed into the collective over the weekend.

Today, the theme continues as we are more inclined toward seeing how things fit together and are similar, rather than what sets them apart.  This can have an effect on our ability to discern, so if you are unsure about a certain direction or action, take a break from the situation and consider all angles.  Stepping out of things or taking a time out and coming back a bit later will help with clarity.  Keep in mind that we are in the midst of a swirl of electro-magnetics with all of the astrological aspects that are underway (see Cancer New Moon recording "Castaways Return" at oraclereport.com).

Mercury comes to the degree of the New Moon ("woman and two men castaways...") today, so it will add its energy (through signs, symbols, and communications) to this month's energy of fellowship and unity.  Open, honest interchanges are highlighted to find what's best.

You may recall that the Sun released a CME on June 18, 2015 when the Moon was located at the degree of the castaways.  This was only an M3-class flare, but it was Earth-directed and caused communications disruptions.  This CME was part of a flurry of CMEs between June 18 and 25 from sunspot 2371 that culminated in the CME from the M7.9 flare.  Review of what was going on in your life at that time may provide key insight, insight that will continue to expand throughout the lunar month.  It seems that the Sun is heavily invested in amplifying the energetics of unity.

The Moon is making its way through Virgo, but not before an encounter with Chiron at 3:35 pm ET/7:35 pm ET.  What do you we stand for and what do you represent?  To what are you truly connected?  What brings balance?  These are the real questions at hand, though questions about where we've failed are trying to filter through from the shadows.  This is because the Moon is in Virgo along with the Black Moon right now.  When the Moon and the Black Moon are in the same sign (or the exact opposite sign, like Virgo and Pisces), our core fear comes to the forefront.  If we cannot deal with what is revealed to us about ourselves, the tendency is to project it onto others.  Potential for projection of shadow sides is quite high today.  The Moon will make conjunction with the Black Moon overnight at 1:29 am ET/5:29 am UT.  (Wise owls with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces are integrating heavy distillations of truth as the Black Moon's transit of Virgo enters its last month.  Remember to rest as much as possible so that the transit can have its maximum effect for rebirthing you.)

Finally, this week's energetics are going to build in intensity.  We are approaching back-to-back retrogrades of Venus and Uranus.  Mars will make exact square with Uranus on Friday, and the parliament of wise owls is aware that Uranus is flooding the field with the Eris Point energy of revelations of truth, freedom, balance, rebirth, true love, and restoration.  It's going to be electric for sure.

Catalysts for Change:  betrayal of trust, covering with lies, vanity, putting on masks to conceal the truth, superficial, demanding attention, overplaying a role, stirring up personal drama, deliberately causing harm, unaccepting of anything alternative, control issues, escaping into illusion

True Alignments:  the bearable lightness of being, release of pressure, seeing the truth, transcending, effervescence, trust, messages and signs from nature (keep Animal Speak handy), lifting of voices, catching up, steadiness, heightened imagination and creativity, love of life

When we follow the Moon, Saturday's energetics are quite different from Sunday's.  Saturday is the last day of the New Moon phase.  If you haven't set a wish or intention (or re-iterated the wish or intention you set at the beginning of the astrological year in April during the Aries lunar cycle), there is still time on Saturday.  In the swimming pool of life, the wishes and intentions that we have during New Moon phases are bounced between us and Spirit over the rest of the month.  The mindset and focus we hold during the New Moon phase is what develops all month long -- positive or negative.

Saturday's energetics heavily favor taking time for relaxation and fun.  But several things happening in the skies make Saturday a rather complex day:

10:50 am ET/ 2:50 pm UT:  The Moon will conjunct (move to the same place in the zodiac) Jupiter.  The conjunction is at the very last minute of 25 Leo and the Sabian symbol of "a camel crossing a vast and forbidding desert."  Long emotional journeys can come to an end under this dynamic.

6:39 pm ET/10:39 pm UT: Venus, which is moving very, very slowly as it prepares to turn retrograde, enters Virgo.  Until that time, Venus continues to open us up like an "unsealed letter."  Messages abound.  When Venus moves into Virgo (which is an absolutely fabulous configuration in my book), it begins to disseminate 1 Virgo and the Sabian symbol of "in a portrait, the best of a man's features and traits are idealized."  Venus will retrograde at this degree on July 25, meaning it will discharge this energy throughout its retrograde (even when it moves to other degrees) because this is the "banner" or "theme" that Venus will carry while it retrogrades.  This retrograde of Venus (July 15 - September 6) is going to free illusions we have held about ourselves and others.  Venus will help the world see truth.  This should be interesting.

8:48 pm ET/00:48 am UT:The Moon will enter Virgo and also make conjunction with Venus.  Since the Black Moon is transiting Virgo, the Moon transiting Virgo makes the remainder of the weekend a "Black Moon" time when people's shadow sides are tempted to come out.  Issues related to trust, perceived failures, vulnerability, and our personal "features and traits" come to the surface to be released and healed.  There is high potential for high drama.  Those with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces (especially those born between February 19-22 and August 23-26) will experience this most.  The Black Moon only has one more month to transit Virgo, so the end of the underworld is in sight for these wise owls.  But within this, everyone can shift the perceived failures to "lessons learned."

10:39 pm ET/2:39 am UT:  Mercury will make exact square with Uranus (and thus with the Eris Point, since this is the place Uranus is stationing from right now).  Mercury will be at the degree of "a prima donna singing," which will amplify the dramatic potential, but also will amplify the potential for unification of powerful voices and alignment with fulfillment of what is in our hearts.  This energetic will assist in the process of realignment with and restoration of what is in alignment with not only our personal highest and best interests, but also those of the collective of humanity.  In essence, Mercury is adding the theme of fulfillment to Saturday's energetic and to the upcoming Uranus retrograde at the Eris Point on July 26.  What fills up your heart?

MIDNIGHT ET/4:00 am UT:  Finally, Jupiter moves to 26 Leo and the Sabian symbol of "after a heavy storm, a rainbow." This brings release and a shift in perspective.  Jupiter is still very close to Venus, so all of this is concentrated on relationships, including our relationship with ourselves.

Sunday's dynamics are not quite as complex, but they do continue the themes of release from restrictions (especially anything that has been turbulent) and illusions.  The effort we put into things on Sunday leads to the flowering of something during the Full Moon and even beyond.

Back up online today at Oracle Report after disruptions yesterday, which was the opening day of the New Moon in Cancer, the opening of a window of time that lasts through December that brings revolutionary change and realignment toward balance, and a turning point in the course of the world.

The energy of "a woman and two male castaways on a small island in the South Seas" imprinted at the time of the New Moon (yesterday at 9:25 pm ET/early this morning at 1:25 am UT).  Like a lingering island breeze, this dynamic will unfold all month long.

When we look from a higher-dimensional level of consciousness, the image of the castaways is that there is no split, no choice.  They work together for the good of each.

THE MESSAGE OF THE NEW MOON IS TO OVERRIDE ATTEMPTS TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER AND REMAIN UNITED.

Today there is an interplay between themes of resolving conflicts, obstacles, issues, barriers and themes of taking up one's role, purpose, mission, and destiny.  We are asked to accept that we are powerful beings with an endowment of ample creativity.  We are asked to take up who we really are and make our lives a truer representation of that -- no holds barred.  This is not a time to limit or restrict ourselves, as all of the energetics shift now to supporting, experiencing, and restoring life.

The Sun will move to the degree of "a leader of men wrapped in an invisible mantle of power" at 5:00 pm ET/9:00 pm UT.  Humanity wraps itself in its power.  How can you experience this today?

Venus, which is slowly coming to a dead stop as it approaches its retrograde (reverse movement) on July 25, is disseminating the energy of the Sabian symbol of "an unsealed letter" between now and Saturday, July 17 at 6:39 pm ET/10:39 pm UT. Since Venus was located at this degree at the time of the New Moon yesterday, it is in effect to some degree all month long.  But it is amplified through Saturday.  This energy brings communications and interactions that are carefree (as in freeing cares), honest, and trustworthy.  It helps us see the big picture or true nature of things, especially in relationships.  It helps us share with each other.  And it's open to everyone.  What is trying to unseal or break free from your heart?

Answers to important questions may come today as Mercury moves to the degree of "a man studying a mandala in front of him with the help of a very ancient book."  The ancient wisdom and tried and true sources of knowledge and information are where we turn for what we need to understand or solve.  With this energy, it is also important to step back and take things in from a standpoint that is removed.  We can see more of the mystery when we become observant.

Above all, this month we understand that we are not victims -- not castaways.  United in the belief that the world is actually returning to balance and sanity while it appears otherwise is how we hold the line -- hold the space -- for it to happen.

Today we turn with the tides of the Moon in Cancer as we undergo an energetic shift or turning point.  On the Medicine Wheel of Life, today we pivot from the position of the East, beginnings, to the position of the South, experiences.

Energetically, we move from "winter frost in the woods" to "a small island in the South Seas." 

Whatever we have nurtured over the past month, the month where much internal strengthening and vitality has been building under the surface (under the bark of the trees in the woods), begins to manifest or show up in physical reality.  The physical senses are stimulated and life beckons us to embrace and experience it.

In the cycles of the Sun and Moon, the New Moon in Cancer shifts us into a lunar month that is like a month-long First Quarter Moon phase -- the time of the cycle when we step out of our comfort zone and take action with what we value, with our heart's desire, and with our dreams for the future.

The intentions or mindset that was held at during the month of the New Moon in Aries (April 18 - May 16, 2015) now comes into focus and forward action begins.  The degree to which we have not abandoned or given up on our highest ideals over the past two months determines the level of manifestation that begins now.  (The past two months were the time of year when we were challenged to persevere under intense dynamics -- challenged not to give up hope, give up dreams, etc.).

By understanding that today and tomorrow a shifting point is happening to take us from one place on the Wheel of Life to another, we can flow with the shift.  This means we don't resist whatever is happening in our lives.  Massive change and alignment is happening in the world and in our lives as Uranus discharges the energy of the Eris Point, 21 Aries, with the Sabian symbol of "a boxer entering the ring."  Eris is the energy of revolution and rebirth and combined with Uranus, bringing freedom from crumbling power and control systems.  This is quite in line today on Bastille Day and its underlying spirit of freedom (regardless of the behind the scenes manipulation of the event).

As such, an old imprint of falsity and propaganda (particularly via the written word) tries in vain to re-establish itself today.  Fear-based mindsets will be heavily pushed into the collective in order to empower/manipulate the Mars-Pluto opposition that is happening.  (How interesting that NASA has released the "new data" on Pluto now as Mars, Planet of War, is making opposition...)

Because the Moon has now moved into Cancer, it is activating the other planets in Cancer and the Cancer energy as a whole.  This builds all day long, reaching height around 9:00 pm ET/1:00 am UT and sustaining until the New Moon tomorrow around 9:00 pm ET/1:00 am UT.  This increases emotions and sensitivity.  People, places, and things can get touchy, so give wide berth to minimize hurt feelings and misunderstandings.  People react quickly to being ignored, left out, not considered, not acknowledged, not recognized, not appreciated. 

Kindness and simply recognizing the contributions of other's hard work will go a longer way today. 

Mars and Pluto will be in opposition at the New Moon in Cancer tomorrow, which means it will  unfold throughout the entire new lunar month.  If we didn't have the wisdom of the Sabians, we would not know that the Mars-Pluto opposition is bringing good fortune.  Mars is located at the degree of the Sabian symbol of "a group of people who have overeaten and enjoyed it."  An abundant supply of whatever we need to truly revitalize ourselves is available over the next month.

But, before Mars moves to the degree of opposition with Pluto, it is discharging the energetic of "a very old man facing a vast dark space to the northEAST."  How fitting as the God of Will Ian, God of The East, takes up stationary position in the East on his last day of duty.  Kathe, God of The South, who is much like a divine form of John Lennon, takes over tomorrow. 

Let's give thanks to the forces of Nature and Universe that have given us the will to persevere and reach light at this point in our journey.  Today, we follow the shift.

The "winter frost in the woods" is beginning to melt rapidly, courtesy of the Sun and Uranus still in close square today, but also due to the fires of Mars moving into opposition with Pluto.

How is all of this treating you?

Depending on how much "frost" has built up, the rapid thaw could turn into a flash flood of emotions as we advance to the New Moon in Cancer on Wednesday.  The next lunar month transports us to an entirely different climate altogether, as the Sabian symbol for the New Moon is "a woman and two men castaways on an island in the South Seas."  More on this in the monthly New Moon audio recording which is on its way.

Mars and Pluto engage our will.  Impetus, initiative, and a strong desire to act comes with this.  Coupled with the Sun and Uranus still discharging the surprising, catalytic, electrical, changeable, sudden energy, there is very high potential for explosive interactions, outbursts, road rage, accidents, and the like.  You know the drill.

But, a much better way to channel ALL of the energetics that are in play (and there are others, too lengthy for this report) is through the energetic frequency of Venus today: "a mermaid emerges from the ocean ready for rebirth in human form."  Focus the energy on the rebirth or emergence of a useful reality.

I would offer that whatever we do between now and the New Moon on Wednesday is what transports us to the place on the mental and emotional map we will inhabit over the next lunar month.

There is quite a marked difference between Saturday and Sunday's energies, but everything is building toward the exact square of the Sun and Uranus Sunday night at 11:00 pm ET/Monday at 3:00 am UT.

First, let's cover Saturday.  At the core, Saturday's energy is ethereal, receptive, dreamy, romantic, and imaginative.  Also, messages and insights are trying to reach us.  In most things, suspending expectations will go a long way on Saturday.  It's exceptionally creative energy, so something may be trying to come to life or be born for each of us.

But, a stronger energetic is over-ruling everything this weekend and this is the Sun square (making a 90 degree angle) with Uranus.  Things will turn a different way. Whatever way it turns, it is meant to be, you can be assured.

At the time of the square, the Sun will be located at 20 Cancer 25 and the Sabian symbol of "a prima donna singing."  This energy can bring extremes - extreme highs and extreme lows, which can take its toll.  It can make sleep elusive and produce high anxiety.  But what is really happening is that we are asked to let go of what inhibits or restricts our hearts.  Everything is best done from the heart, but when skilled singers sing from the heart, it is like the music of the spheres.  It awes and amazes.  It touches us at the deepest levels of our souls and we expand.

Uranus will be at 20 Aries 25 and the Sabian symbol of "a boxer entering the ring" which, of course, most Oracle Report readers know is the Eris Point (the degree where the planet Eris was located at discovery and the dissolving control system's favored frequency to manipulate).  The exact degree of the Eris Point is 20 Aries 36, so this square is only 11 arc minutes from the exact point.  You can't get much closer than that.

This is key point in time and a harbinger of what we can expect between July 15 and the end of December.  The New Moon in Cancer (a "cardinal" or "turning point" month) begins July 15, Venus will retrograde ten days later, and one day after Venus, Uranus will retrograde.  This weekend's events will re-connect directly with August 9-10, when Uranus will come back to where it is this weekend.  In other words, it will reactivate whatever is imprinted into the field now.  The energetic will activate once again after Uranus moves direct and comes back to this point on April 9, 2016.

So you see why this is a key point in time.

Water and fire are engaged with this dynamic, and Uranus brings accident-proneness, so take extra care and precaution this weekend.  Uranus is swift as lightning and packs a powerful boxer's punch.  Take it on the chin if he strikes.  He wants us to see something different - something new - and he will do what it takes to turn our heads that way. 

The Sun empowers.  Uranus realigns.  The Eris energy rebirths.  Sounds like renaissance to me.

We are wise today to find a balance between work, rest, creativity, and play to replenish our inner resources.  This weekend is a power-punch of energetics, with the Sun squaring Uranus (with Uranus already at the Eris Point, as I've mentioned) and Mars beginning opposition with Pluto.  A lot will develop under these catalyzing energetics, so today we want to keep things in good perspective, integrate a lot of humor, and commit our hearts to what we truly value.

I am discussing values and value systems a lot in advance of Venus' retrograde on July 25.  It's important that we become clear about what is most important and meaningful to us.  Today's energetics activate our hearts and our heart's desires, so pay attention to your attention!  If you feel confused or overloaded (with information, options, decisions, responsibilities, etc.), stop and decide if there is something you need to put down.  Are you carrying something that no longer needs to be carried?  The universe helps us see and do this today.

If your mind chatter is on overdrive today, this is part of the energetic to help us take things to the next level.  But this also can get out of hand quickly, scattering us.  If you start to experience this, it is a direct sign that you need a rest.  Take a short break (or long one if possible) and return to your center.  Then come back with a refreshed perspective.

Mercury, the planet that rules communication (including mind chatter), moves to the degree of "a cat arguing with a mouse."   This can cause standoffs or standstills, as well as, obviously, arguments.  What is the core issue?  What needs to be brought back into balance?  Are you engaged in an internal argument or battle?  Again, realigning with what we value will bring us out of the conundrum.

All this month, the force of love has been coursing through our "inner woodlands" despite the "winter frost."  Hearts and minds seek expression today.  What do yours want to say and do?

Today the Sun moves to the degree of the Sabian symbol "a hen scratching for her chicks."  The themes of nurturance and nourishment are involved with this energy.  The levels of care and dedication that are needed in order for things to grow are visible.

At the other end of the spectrum, Jupiter has moved to degree of the Sabian symbol of "totally concentrated upon inner spiritual attainment, a man is sitting in a state of complete neglect of his body."  This energy wants us to restore balance to situations and conditions.  Deep insight and revelation accompanies this energetic signature, but it's best to help the body process or integrate the information through physical activity.

All of this is happening as our instinctual bodies are activated today.  The Earth is located at the degree of the Sabian symbol of "the Union Jack flies from a new British warship."  Energetics that prompt fears about all types of safety and security are being pushed.  Old imprints of power, control, and empire are trying to regain footing.  This won't work because the dream we are dreaming no longer has these underpinnings.

What does work is following our deep roots with Sophia, the divine being embodied as the Earth, to reconnect at all levels of the body, mind, and soul and restore balance.  Step aside from the fear and step outside to find solace in the complexity of Nature.

The Third Quarter Moon phase begins today, but the real news is that this is technically the last few days of two month's worth of challenging energy.  We've persevered through obstacles (fears, perceived failures, rejections, old beliefs) to maintain sight of our highest ideals and our hopes, wishes, and dreams.  Our mission over the past two lunar months has been to not give up on the true values of life.  The universe asked if we value something enough to dedicate ourselves to the challenge.

Beginning today and continuing over the next few days (the Third Quarter Moon phase), energy for turning points enters the field.  Things straighten up, rectify, align, join together, magnetize, and reposition.  The strongest effects of this occur today as the Moon moves into conjunction with Uranus at the Eris Point with exact conjunction around 11:00 pm ET/3:00 am UT.

Mercury will enter Cancer around 3:00 pm ET/7:00 pm UT, joining the Sun and Mars in Cancer.  Cancer energy increases our sensitivity to all things, but especially our emotional sensitivity.  The main story with Mercury entering Cancer is the amplification of "cardinal" or turning point energies because Mercury is joining forces with the Sun, Mars, Uranus, Pluto, and today the Moon in cardinal signs to realign people, places, and things in major ways.

Envision a cross with the cardinal directions of East, South, West, and North.  Planets are peppered at three of the points, moving things toward change and transformation.

But what about the fourth direction?  What's missing? 

The fourth direction is filled when the Black Moon takes position on August 25, 2015, completing the cross and delivering renaissance as it transits Libra through May of 2016.

The events of today foreshadow that time period, so wise owls are paying close attention.  Clues about what is missing in our lives also comes along with this today.

A bit of a puzzle emerges today, as the Sun moves to the degree of the Sabian symbol "a man studying a mandala in front of him with the help of a very ancient book."

I love this symbol because I love mandalas and have seen the power of them in action.  When new things enter the field and start to form, the shape of things changes.  The labyrinth of reality rearranges. 

We naturally step back and take a look, but always, after consulting our inner wisdom, we realize that the only option is to enter the labyrinth.  Immersion in the experience is how we gain the satisfaction or wholeness or sense of completion -- whatever gift the puzzle offers.

So today, it may be quite necessary to take a leap of faith with something, especially with trying to understand something.  We should not forget that the "help of a very ancient book" implies that direct assistance and guidance for a great expansion in consciousness is present.

Much of today's energy involves integrating what is already known or available into a new form.  Many, many new forms are emerging, though they may be rough around the edges right now.  New ways of doing things and new ways of re-doing things are coming forth as the wave of the Second Renaissance continues to build and burst through.

The Mahavidya Bagalamukhi excels at solving things.  Her energy can take us for panoramic views of situations so that we can study and understand them better.  We can take a leap of faith with her and engage the mandala of life in a deeper way.  What will happen to the mandala of reality when we do?

"After a heavy storm, a rainbow."  The planets combine today to deliver signs and messages that reassure us of better times.  Light returns to infuse our lives with rich color and blessings, as Venus moves to this degree in the sky.

The question today is whether we are mentally still in the heavy storm or out into the light of the rainbow or vacillating between.

Given that the Moon is in Pisces opposing the Black Moon and the Sun is making exact opposition with Pluto today, stormy weather may roll our way at times.  The combination of these aspects increases potential for projection our own and others' shadow sides today.  The "Catalysts for Change" list gives detail.

Though today's energetics contain elements that can cause people to act from their most fearful and insecure selves - in the ugliest of ways - we understand that what is happening is transformation out of darkness into light.  When people behave unkindly, hurtfully, or selfishly, they are operating from fear and a sense of powerlessness.  Attempts to blame others always accompanies this, but it is merely projection  -- a poor coping skill that devolves into power and control issues.  (When Pluto is involved, power issues often come in to play. With Pluto in Capricorn, we add control to the mix.)

The highest objective of the energy is to clear illusions and fears.  As this happens, a rainbow of options opens.  New experiences beckon.  All of this is building toward the next New Moon, the New Moon in Cancer on July 15.  A torrent of opportunities will flood the field of consciousness.  Today, part of the way is being paved.

No matter what the skies us bring today, let's remember to be on the lookout for the rainbow.  Let's watch as new perspectives, opportunities, and destinies arise.  Let's stand reassured.  Here comes the Sun.

The Full Moon continues to provide heightened illumination, and today the spotlight is on redressing, correcting, revising, and reforming the balance of things and the value of things.  What is truly worthy and what is truly unworthy shows clearly.

The Moon will make an exact square (90 degree angle) with Uranus around 4:00 pm ET/8:00 pm ET.  Tumult is indicated within several of the energetics, very likely with high emotionality.  This builds through the day.  Uranus is swift and unpredictable.  Anxiety and fears rise.  Accidents occur, but truly nothing happens by accident with Uranus.  

There is, eventually, a silver lining with anything that happens under Uranus' influence.  My teacher was wise when she taught me that Uranus saves us by our rejections.  I could not see or feel it that way then.  But it is very clear now.  Uranus will put things right, and this is a great blessing.

The blessing, however, is like riding greased lightning.  The best advice is to hold on and let the energy take you where you need to be.  If we endeavor to be the best (fill in your name) we can be, we find the ride easier, even enjoyable perhaps if we are able to let go of the need for control.

It's the job of wise owls to maintain a strong sense of grounding this month.  We walk through the woods of winter frost that some consider bleak.  We know that reinforcement is taking place under the surface.  The force of LIFE is active and vibrant and building strength.  The scene isn't bleak.  Look beyond to what is happening under the veneer. 

We are like the woods, with deep roots into the Earth, and open branches stretching into the Heavens.  The month we are preserving and protecting "Heaven on Earth" -- what we love and value.  We remember and we hold true, no matter the conditions.

A great deal of sensory overload, cognitive dissonance, and fear mongering is being pushed into human consciousness in an attempt to re-imprint an old energetic.

Today, the Black Moon will move to 24 Virgo 00 (25 Virgo) and the Sabian symbol of "a flag at half mast in front of a public building." Again we have energetics around "flags."  This energy will be in effect for the next nine days, so it will be present throughout the Independence Day holiday here in the US.  So people are being stirred up - "triggered" in trauma terminology.  The crumbling control system is trying to trigger a trauma response whether they carry out a traumatic event or not.  The fear of the potential for something is almost as powerful as the emotional response from an actual event.  Our brains are more easily manipulated when fear is involved.

But, several things are also in effect to not counter all of this, but to lift us out of it to a clearer view - a wiser view.  Primary among these is Venus, still in conjunction with the lofty expansion of masterful Jupiter, moves to the degree of the Solstice CME and reactivating the Sabian symbol of  "a bareback rider in a circus displays her dangerous skill."  This was the CME of the M2.6 flare on Saturday, June 20 at 10:34 pm ET/ Sunday, June 21 at 2:34 am UT -- just four hours after Uranus moved to the Eris Point, where it sits now and where it will turn retrograde, flooding the field with revelations of truth, rebellion against power and control dynamics, and rebirth of the true values of life.  You may remember significant things happening in your life at that time.  It was quite a Summer Solstice!

Many people have reported feeling dissociated or spacey during this Gibbous Moon phase.  Gibbous is rather airy and fluid energy by nature.  It has taken over a week for us to fully take on board the solar activations - the light and wisdom - that was sent our way with the Earth directed CMEs last week.  The Solstice CME was one of the ones that morphed with the others to have such a dramatic impact on our psyches.  And we are smarter from it.

The Venus-Jupiter conjunction assists by helping us elevate and assimilate our understanding of the way things are in our lives and in the world right now.  And remember, Neptune is still helping us navigate as the energy of "an aviator in the clouds" continues to fly.

These are the kinds of things that causes renaissance -- true change.

Wise owls are well aware of the types of tricks and hijinks that the old, dying system is fond of employing.  We see beyond the illusions, somersaulting above them like a bareback rider.  We understand that we are in direct connection and direct collaboration with a higher force of love, freedom, and beauty that is restoring the world to balance and sanity.

The music of the spheres erupts with the herald of divine messages today!

The symphony has already started, kicking off with the Moon opposing Mercury, the planet known as The Messenger this morning.  Message begins: open your mind to new opportunities and options.  Break from restrictions.  The future is safe and secure, even it feels foreign now.

The message continues at High Noon ET/4:00 pm UT with the Moon beginning the "triangulation" of direction, guidance, and information as it completes the third angle of a Grand Trine between Venus and Jupiter on one side and Uranus on the other.  Venus and Jupiter will make exact conjunction overnight and into the early hours - 3:33 am ET/7:33 am UT.  Message ends.

That's a lot of astrology.  What it means is messages, information, guidance, and direction are filling the air.  The primary energy in effect today is the Sabian symbol "a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission."  What is the music of the spheres of the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus delivering to you today?

Whatever it is, it is paving the way to refine our recognition of who, what, and where we value.  Today's Venus-Jupiter conjunction foreshadows the upcoming Venus retrograde of July 25 to September 6, 2015.  Venus refines and restores the true values of life when it is retrograde.  It's a good thing.

With great hope for the future, today wise owls are watching and listening to what the universe is telling us.  It's big.

A beautiful and remarkable thing is beginning in the starry skies and building until Wednesday night.  The planets Venus and Jupiter are moving into the same "place," shining a beacon as they converge at the degree of the Sabian symbol "a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission."

Clarity about direction, course, senses, intuition, beliefs, information, and assessments is delivered.  The energy that is building provides guidance and information -- special messages that guide.

The energy is "exalted" somewhat since Jupiter is involved.  Jupiter teaches us things that stretch our minds, so whatever is happening now is designed to bring things to a much higher and expanded level. 

Since Venus is the other planet involved, energy is added to what we value and love, taking those things to new levels as well.

This lofty event has a caveat.  The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter makes an astrological aspect with Uranus.  Uranus' goal is always to change, adjust, or align us with what is in our highest and best interests.

We are just beginning to grasp the expanded perception, awareness, and insight that is on tap until the Full Moon and the Venus -Jupiter conjunction overnight Tuesday (exact conjunction of Venus and Jupiter is Wednesday, July 1 at 3:33 am ET/7:33 am UT).  Until then, the magic of the Gibbous Moon phase continues to flow.
