Catalysts for Change:  excluding others, too much importance placed on appearances, confusion, harshly judgmental of self, out of tune, dishonor (particularly of a family), alienated, irrational, bullying, working against others or a team, intangible, overindulgence (especially of anything that alters the mind)

Neptune's dreaminess overtakes Mars' action today, sending us into a naturally mystical state of consciousness.

Feeling a little dissociated or in a slight daze is common with this configuration.  The energies induce "zoning out." 

Adding to the etheric quality, the Sun is discharging "a man becoming aware of nature spirits and normally unseen spiritual energies."  What was previously unseen is seen.  We have revelations about things.  We come to another understanding about them.  Trends and patterns become visible.  We attune to a different way.

Adding to the revelatory quality, Mercury is discharging "a man gaining secret knowledge from an ancient scroll he is reading."  We gain insight into our own past, which may seem ancient to us in some way.  The wisdom of our souls is cached and available.  This energetic is kind of like the door to the private section of our psyche's library being opened.  Great insight is available and can be put into immediate, practical use.  The catalyst for the insight may likely be something we read (and not necessarily something esoteric that we read).

Ideals, mind and belief sets, notions, concepts, wishes, dreams, and projects that we have held or have been working on for a long time are taken to a higher level today.  Mars is discharging "a flag that turns into an eagle that crows."  This means that representations or ideas come to fruition.  Ideas come to life, so to speak. 

With this energetic, we also tend to speak up and speak out.  We stand up and stand out.  We align with what we believe.

Also today, Venus and Jupiter are building toward exact conjunction tomorrow, Saturday. August 27, 2016 at 6:15 pm ET.  The conjunction occurs at 28 Virgo and the Sabian symbol of "a bald-headed man who has seized power."  More on this tomorrow, but keep in mind that Jupiter expands whatever it touches, and it is touching Venus right now.  This can make us "touchy" about appearance, love, relationships, security, and money.  On the note of Venus and appearance, at 28 Virgo, the "bald-headed man" has freed himself from encumbrances and ideas related to appearance.  He may have shaved his head himself.  He has transcended the paradigm, and in the process tapped his own inner power.  More on the Venus-Jupiter conjunction tomorrow, but this Sabian symbol is worthy of consideration about how it personally applies, as the dynamic will be in effect until November 13, 2017.

Things that have been or have seemed divided come together today.  This brings the restoration of balance, which brings a sense of inner peace.

Three planets are discharging the theme of linking up/linking together, teaming up, integrating, putting people/places/things together, adding up, putting all the pieces together, and acceptance:

SUN: "black and white children playing HAPPILY together" (recognizing and disregarding the illusions of separation between people; compromise; fellowship; having fun and playing with others; united and un-swayed)

EARTH: "heavy car traffic on a narrow isthmus linking two seaside resorts" (restoring balance and soundness of mind; bringing what is imagined into reality; getting to a better state of mind and a better experience, smoothing out the flow)

MARS: "the lamp of physical enlightenment at the left temple" (reconnecting with the physical body; emotional integration; balanced strength and energy; connecting things - especially things that seem very different or unable to co-exist)

Venus and Mercury are discharging potent energetics that may trigger feelings grief/loss, especially related to past experiences of sudden trauma.  Venus is located at "a flag at half mast in front of a public building."  Mercury is located at "a bald-headed man who has seized power." 

The power of Human Will is rising and beginning to affect massive swathes of change.  We are no longer being gamed or played because we know the game and the play.  We are moving beyond being victims of imposed and manipulated circumstances.  We, as sovereign beings, are taking control of our personal and collective narratives.

At 12:30 pm ET/4:30 pm UT, the Moon will oppose Mars at "newly opened lands offer the pioneer new opportunities for experience."  Opportunities continue to abound, especially for those adventurous enough to embrace change.

At 1:35 pm ET/5:35 pm UT, the Moon will oppose Saturn at "an airplane performing a nosedive."  This is the energy of shakeups.  We are often saved from what may seem inevitable, especially what we have "self-inflicted" when this dynamic is in effect.

All in all, things come together today, despite the past and despite the seeming differences. Integrate something that has been clearly shown to you since the New Moon on August 2.  Make it part of you.

(Side note: The wave of the Forces of Nature that is raising the consciousness of humanity is happening very quickly-- too quickly for the cabal to organize responses.  Their responses are sluggish and uninformed, at best.  This makes them reckless.  We are witnessing the unraveling of a dying system, one that needs to pass because it is based on power and control over others.  Wisdom teaches us to be in the world of the matrix, but not of it.  We are in the "mindset" of Second Renaissance, and the creativity of our hearts and minds is being freed in order to create the narrative of life WE WANT.  See what is occurring, but understand what is happening.)

Mars is riding shotgun with Saturn today, and early accounts indicate that the "show" is on.  From Monday's Oracle Report

"...the three-day march of Mars and Saturn as they make conjunction at 10 Sagittarius: "a theatrical representation of a golden-haired goddess of opportunity."  The aeon Sophia opens another scene in the narrative of her journey.  Archontic energies are re-called to her in great numbers.  This manifests for some with wild scenarios, actions, dramas, and power plays.  Warlike, aggressive, power-addicted, and controlling behavior can result.  This manifests for others with the rewards of reason, effort, perseverance, and wisdom.

Mars and Saturn are masculine energies; the conjunction occurs at a distinctly feminine archetypal symbol.  This would be a merger of the inner feminine and inner masculine, which is often a marker for expansion into greater levels of consciousness. 

One question that is highlighted on the individual level over the next three days is: What do you desire the golden haired goddess of opportunity to show you?

The other question that is highlighted on the collective level over the next three days: Is it real?"

Today's Mars-Saturn conjunction completes a cycle that began on August 25, 2014.  Anything that began at that time and no longer serves the best of all involved is deconstructed or released. 

A new cycle between Mars and Saturn begins today and continues until April 2, 2018.  New things that are beginning now offer some of the best opportunities in life, since the conjunction is at the energetic frequency of "a theatrical representation of a golden haired goddess of opportunity."  In many ways, "all of the world is a stage" until April 2, 2018.  It is a good idea to note what is happening in your life now, as the unfoldment of these things can be tracked as Mars and Saturn go through different stages of their cycle together.

When you understand the far-reaching implications of just how long an energetic is in effect and just what happens when planets make conjunction in our Electric Universe, you understand that today is no ordinary day.  When planets make conjunction, they send an electrical wave throughout the solar system.  The Sun responds and geophysical events occur, as they have with the earthquake in Italy. 

What is imprinted into today's energetics (thoughts, feelings, events, mindsets, attitudes, projects) carries a great deal of power.  Intentions that are set have the power to become golden opportunities. 

The Illuminati are prone to conduct rituals when either Mars or Saturn is making an aspect, but the conjunction of the two at the "golden goddess" Sabian symbol energetic likely makes the opportunity irresistible.  This is happening primarily behind the scenes, in the dark, but is also evident through whatever meme and theme the mainstream media are pushing today, as well as any ritualistic false flag events.  Remember that with this conjunction, we are asking ourselves what is real, what is the truth (see above from Monday's report).  In addition, Mars and Saturn are making a square (90 degrees away) with Neptune, which can cloud and shroud things, making them harder to see and understand.  (Neptune is also in trine to the Black Moon today, and the Black Moon is a favorite harmonic frequency of the cabal's manipulation.  It is interesting that the Sun responded with frequency effects directed very close to Rome.)

Shadow sides continue their exposure until 7:41 pm ET, when the Moon moves out of Taurus and in to Gemini.  Anger, grief, aggression, insecurities, fear and feelings of loss are enhanced, but the Moon always moves and the time frame will end with the Moon's shift into Gemini.

The Sun is discharging the energetic of "two guardian angels bringing protection," and Venus is discharging "Mary and her white lamb."  Divine intervention is at hand.  It is most welcome today.

The potential for an event that triggers a trauma response is very high today.  If this occurs (and it is by no means a guarantee), it is important to not freeze up with fear.  The Earth is discharging "a petrified forest," which can immobilize us.  It can also immortalize and withstand.  We do not want to be petrified people.  We want to be resilient!

Theatrics aside today, we understand that the March of Mars and the Sands of Saturn's Time are closing out one cycle and beginning a new one.  Golden opportunities await.

Catalysts for Change:  rushing or forcing, bragging or showing off, isolation, survivalism, bad temper, keeping up appearances that are fake, loss of self-confidence, religious zealotry, suppressing emotions, projecting one's own feelings onto another because the feelings are "threatening," things quickly getting out of control and taken too far

Heads up, wise owls.  The magic carpet ride may get bumpy today.

It is a "Black Moon Day" with the Moon in Taurus opposing the Black Moon in Scorpio.  Shadow sides come out on Black Moon days.  Projection of feelings, especially anger, onto others is the modus operandi of this energetic.  Personal fears crop up in order for us to see that what limits us is only a fear -- a shadow.

Themes of insecurities, grief, and losses (including anything that was lost, not won, in any kind of competition) are more common with the Taurus-Scorpio polarity.  Venus is making opposition with Chiron today and tomorrow, amplifying things, and adding themes of wounding, healing, and teaching, particularly related to relationships and finances. 

When the Moon opposes the Black Moon (exact conjunction at 10:49 am ET/2:49 pm UT), it will do so at 11 Taurus and the Sabian symbol of "a woman sprinkling flowers."  To defuse high emotions, try to mentally "sprinkling flowers" on the situation.  It may work better than you think it will.

But let us not forget the major power play in the sky with Mars and Saturn in conjunction through tomorrow.  Mars and Saturn can dramatically heighten anger, aggression, and control issues.  The dynamic can be warlike.  The highest octave of the energy brings energy to structure and form (and restructure and reform) things.

Today Mercury is discharging the energetic of "a bald headed man who has seized power," multiplying the aggressive tendencies.  Seizing things, taking control, and plunging in are echoed with Venus discharging the energetic of "a lion-tamer rushes fearlessly into the circus arena."  We want to be skillful with things.

All of this may have us wanting to "hide," especially since the Earth is discharging "a squirrel hiding from hunters."  This is not really the way to go today, since the lower octave of this energetic can lead to missed opportunities. 

We don't want to miss those, particularly as the Mars-Saturn conjunction is happening at the Sabian symbol energetic of "a theatrical representation of a golden haired goddess of opportunity."  Opportunities, answers, direction, guidance are being presented to us right now.  In fact, they stand out with the Sun discharging "a large white cross, dominating the landscape, stands alone atop of a high hill."

2- TAKING US TO A NEW "PLACE" - This comes courtesy of Venus, Mars, and Neptune.  The combination of these particular planets may easily mean the  new "place" we are taken is a new perspective on relationships.  Where are we taken?  The new "place" may be out of the mists of denial and illusions and into the blue sky of clarity.  This weekend, these planets are discharging:

• "men traveling a narrow path, seeking illumination"

We have "the illumination of promised lands and higher levels."

Catalysts for Change:  blind spots, false flags, sacrifice, ritualistic acts of darkness, giving away one's power, enmeshed in the material world and/or in base instincts to the detriment of one's spirit, denial, panicky, dogma, trust issues, frozen in time and unable to move, clouded judgment, pushing buttons

Get ready to become a Mental Giant today.

Today's energetics seek to teach us and heal us of thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, and feelings that hold us back.

The primary targets for shifts in understanding relate to perceived losses, broken hopes and dreams, and things that have "failed."

With the release of these restrictions of the mind, we are free to grow.  "Soar" would be a better word because the sheer power of the potential to shift our understanding takes us far above the way things have been, far above the way we have felt.

This is a mighty statement, with a lot to live up to, but the energetics deliver with Mercury making opposition with Chiron today.  Mercury rules our thoughts, thought processes, communication, and information analysis.  Mercury is discharging the energetic of "a flag at half-mast in front of a public building."  Our thoughts naturally turn to grief and loss. 

Chiron rules the hero's journey, teachers of teachers and healers of healers, the quest for knowledge, mission, service to the fellowship of humanity, self-sabotage, learning, and recovering (amongst a plethora of other things -- the mythological Chiron was something of a "Renaissance Man," so the list goes on and on).  Chiron is discharging the energetic frequency of "the purging of the priesthood."  We are naturally taught a new (higher, more advanced) perspective and from it we are healed.  The past is purged.  Chiron also rules cutting (surgically precise, in fact), so the "purge" or split from the past is more like a clean cut.

This is a great blessing.

Freedom from tyranny over the mind is exactly what the fellowship of humanity needs more of at this moment.

As the release occurs today, questions arise.  What was actually "lost?"  Was it what we thought it was?  Was it truly a loss?  Could there ever be a loss of the heart of it?

The Mercury-Chiron dynamic sets up just as the Black Moon moves to 11 Scorpio and the Sabian symbol of "a drowning man is being rescued."  Rescues from the Waters of Scorpio are welcome.  This will be in effect until August 28.

With this today, alternatives are shown.  As the old thoughts and beliefs fall away, new ones are revealed.  The mental and emotional energy trapped within what limits us is freed for other pursuits.  This comes about from the Earth discharging the energetic of "a tree felled and sawed to ensure a supply of wood for the winter."  The new alternative are more sustainable and benefit us more.  Old uses and functions are transformed into new ones.

Our minds are already hyper-engaged in thought with the Mercury-Chiron opposition, and there is added chatter with the Sun disseminating "many little birds on the limb of a large tree."  We may feel "scattered about," but there is plenty of room because the symbol tells us the tree is large.  Going out on a limb is quite natural today.  This is good because it enables us to go far into the unknown (or into the recesses of our minds) to get what we need.  It enables us to see the entire "field" of the past, how it has affected us, and how we would rather things be now.  WE get to choose!

Note that the symbols for the Sun and Earth both involve trees.  Trees are the "neural network" of Gaia Sophia.  They link heaven and earth.  Let's feed a tree a happy thought today.

Finally, pieces of information that are needed to help us shift our perspective may very well come from an outside source.  Venus is discharging the energetic of "two girls playing with a Ouija board."  (I caution against Ouija boards.)  Inner knowledge does not occur in a vacuum.  We are social beings who deeply interact with our environment, which includes the minds of others.  We make our own assessments, but we play on the playground of the mind of Gaia Sophia with the rest of the class.  Key information and messages can come from unexpected sources.

So are you ready to grow today?  Are you ready to engage your Mental Giant?  The only thing we have to lose is what holds us back.

Catalysts for Change:  avoidance, interrupting a process by trying to move it forward too quickly, tantrums, inflexible, insensitive, anti-human rituals, forcing things onto others or forcing things out, fearful of change, anger, overcomplicating

Today we have an operation of opposites.  Instead of feeling pulled apart, we can navigate straight down the middle and avoid the bipolarity.

Here is the mix:

1- FULL MOON - The Moon is Full, which heightens emotions and brings things to full expression.  People can become afflicted with "Full Moon Fever."  The light of truth can be blinding; it can hurt.  This Full Moon puts things to the test: testing limits, testing worthiness, testing capability, testing truth, testing waters.  We have a much better gauge and grasp on things by the end of this Full Moon phase.

2- VENUS AND MARS MAKE MASSIVE CHANGES IN STATUS - Today Venus and Mars are discharging two of the most powerful energetics among the 360 degrees of the zodiac.  Venus is discharging "a volcanic eruption," and Mars is discharging "deep within the depths of the Earth, new elements are being formed."  This tells us there is potential for big changes, especially with romantic relationships since Venus and Mars are the characters.  These changes are not bad; in fact, they renew things, making them better.  Things that have been held back come out.  Within this, what we truly value is revealed. 

This combination of Venus and Mars' energetics today could result in a surge of geologic activity.  Also, The Sabian symbol of "deep within the depths of the Earth, new elements are being formed" is the Sabian symbol for the Sagittarius lunar cycle of November 11- December 28, 2016, so events that occur today will be amplified then.  It may be a good idea to note what is happening today for reference later.

3 - PURITY AND BACK TO BASICS - While Venus and Mars are causing things to erupt from the depths, the Earth and Mercury are working softly and gently.  The Earth is discharging the energetic of "an ancient pottery bowl filled with violets," and Mercury is discharging the energetic of "Mary and her white lamb."  Purity, innocence, and true intent are running right alongside of the eruptions from the depths.  We find that "keeping it simple" works best.  This perspective will refresh things, not deride or dilute them.  We want to maintain high standards of respect for all, sensitive to the fact that tantrums and outbursts of emotions ultimately will bring a shift or change to what is of pure heart and foundation.

4- BREAKING ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE - The Sun discharges "daybreak - the luminescence of dawn in the Eastern sky."  The keyword with this symbol is "luminescence."  What a great word!  Luminescence is certainly what we get with the Full Moon.  What dawns on you today?  What enables a new beginning?

And another note:  We are moving into an astrological window of time beginning tomorrow and open through September 11 when Mars, Saturn, Neptune (and for a few days, the Sun) will be in significant aspect.  It is a massive event and will produce many more changes in the world.  Even more light is going to enter.  The primary generator of the dynamic is Neptune, which will move tomorrow to "men traveling a narrow path seeking illumination," the energetic it will discharge while all of these planets aspect it.  Mars, Saturn, and the Sun will be empowering the theme.  The mass awakening continues... (More on this tomorrow.)

1- SIGNS OF ASSURANCE - The Sun is discharging the energetic of "after a heavy storm, a rainbow."  Things happen and information is delivered to us to show us a different perspective, one that reassures us in some way.  "Spectrums" of things show out.  We see a broader picture, which changes our perceptions, beliefs, and feelings.  Things that have stressed, worried, or preoccupied us are released, leaving us to have a more colorful experience of life.

2- SOLVING AND FIGURING OUT - The Earth is located at the degree of "a mechanic testing a car's battery with a hydrometer."  As "heavy storms" of the psyche fade out into signs of assurance, the information, circumstances, and events that we encounter today help us put things together or finally solve them.  We not only see what is out of balance (continuing a theme that began developing yesterday), but we also see how to fix it.  We can "gauge" things better.  A car's battery powers its systems.  Your own "battery" may need adjusting.

3- DIRECTING THE FLOW OF ENERGY/CHOOSING YOUR OWN NARRATIVE - Mercury discharges the powerful energetic of "a lion-tamer rushes fearlessly into the circus arena."  This is about harnessing our power (our "battery") and directing things the way WE want them to go.  Programs of mind control (perceived failure/loss/weakness, hopelessness, guilt, and self criticism) that may be running rampant and roughshod over you can be dashed with one very clear understanding today.  We can break out of a control matrix that has immobilized us.  A shift in mindset from the stance of demanding to the stance of commanding begins the process.  This is wild energy that can "rush" to wild places, but it can bringer order and stability to (tame) the wildest of things.

4- TAKING CARE - In the midst of the wildness, Venus discharges the energetic of "a fine lace ornamental handkerchief."  This energy brings a theme of delicacy to the day. As the month of fortifying our hearts continues, today Mercury the Messenger discharges the energetic of "Cupid knocking at the door of the human heart," reminding us that opening our hearts also means opening doors to new opportunities.

Keeping an open heart and mind means suspending judgment or the need to control an outcome.

Another reason for keeping an open heart and mind today is the Earth at the degree of "a butterfly with the right wing more perfectly formed."  This energetic has a tendency to distort things, making them difficult to judge.  We see a glimpse of what is out of balance, but it can be harder to understand or integrate or solve it.  Hang tight because situations are likely to look and feel differently tomorrow, as the energetics will be more tangible and objective.

To help with maintaining an open heart and open mind today, keep a steady pace and keep back some reserves.  In other words, today is not the day to expend all of your energy.  The Sun is discharging the energetic of "a large camel crossing a vast and forbidding desert."  The Sun recharges us.  Seek it out if you need a boost.  This energetic also brings up issues of self-reliance/dependence, confidence/insecurity, discipline/lack of discipline, and anything related to endurance.

Sweet relief may be noticed today, especially by those with the Sun in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces.  Jupiter just moved off of exact opposition with Chiron (where they combined to bring the depths and heights of wounding, healing, and teaching since July 30).  Jupiter moved from 25 Virgo and "a flag at half-mast in front of a public building" (grief and loss) to 26 Virgo and "a boy with a censer serves near the priest at the altar" (renewal of hope).  The mutable Sun signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces feel this change the most, as the Jupiter-Chiron opposition is happening in the mutable signs of Virgo and Pisces.  Like flowing water, mutable energy changes things.

And finally, the best for last:  Venus conjuncts the North Node today at 14 Virgo's Sabian symbol of "a family tree."  Venus in Virgo represents the Earth Goddess (Mother Earth, Gaia Sophia) for sure.  The North Node brings destiny.  The destiny of humanity is strongly rooted and is beginning to unfold along a new path.

Reverence for and celebration of Nature is indicated on today's leg of this year's Magic Carpet Ride.  The Sun is discharging the energetic of "American Indians perform a ritual to the Sun."  Saluting the Sun is a daily practice in many cultures, and is practiced here at Oracle Report as well.  It is good to have a special day to honor the dynamo of life in our solar system and to marvel at Creation.

As we marvel, we keep in mind the following themes that are also indicated in today's energetics:

1- RESOLVING - The Earth is discharging the frequency of energy encoded in the symbol of 20 Aquarius, "a large white dove bearing a message."  Information comes to us via "special delivery."  Messages, signs, and synchronicities stand out more prominently, trying to get our attention.  These messages resolve things, bring things into balance, provide a missing piece, put things together, help us see the light/see the truth, and provide direction for progress.

2- THE OTHER SIDE/PERSPECTIVE/VIEW - The resolution of things may come first from looking at things from the other side.  What is the other perspective?  Consider how it may have been to walk in other shoes.  Put yourself in another's position.  Being able to resolve any dualities comes as Venus discharges the energetic of the Sabian symbol for the next lunar month, the Virgo cycle, at "two heads looking out and beyond the shadows."  Things clear up as we are able to see "beyond the shadows."  The Moon leaves Scorpio today after its dance with the Black Moon (the archetypal shadow side), so the shadow elements in effect for the last couple of days fade out.

3- RELEASE - There may be some other elements that are trying to fade out today, but they may not be as subtle.  Mercury, The Messenger, is discharging the energetic of "a volcanic eruption."  Since Mercury rules our thinking processes and how we communicate, thoughts and feelings that have built up often come up when the "volcanic eruption" energy is in effect.  Tantrums or fits are tempted out.  Resisting the rise of any thoughts or feelings that are uncomfortable usually does more harm than good, but we do not need to be slaves to the energy.  We can rise above it and be civilized.  We can express or release in a way that is productive.  Knowing that the potential is there may be all that is needed to have a "contained release."

4- PATIENCE - The Moon moves into Sagittarius, firing up the quintessential Sagittarian traits of seeking (questing), moving things along or taking things to a higher level, and finding answers (truths).  Exact conjunction of the Moon and Mars occurs at 9:04 pm ET/01:04 am UT at 04 Sagittarius: "a little child learning to walk."  New phases of things begin.  Taking things step by step, one at a time, with patience, is the way to go.  This also may moderate the level of "volcanic eruption" with Mercury.

What keeps us grounded within the swirl of any day's electro-magnetic energetics is holding a connection with Mother Earth and Father Sky.  Today's energy carries a lot of fire, and there is already a lot of fire present in different ways in the world right now.  We see a bigger picture today: things are "released" in order to change perspective, move beyond shadows, and forward agendas of truth, love, and peace.

Today, this month's "evening lawn party of adults" takes to the water, as the Sun discharges the energetic of "a houseboat party."  The party may get a little wild.

When the "houseboat party" energetic is in effect, emotions tend to run higher.  Other energetics in effect today are amplifying this tendency.  We can easily feel ungrounded, unanchored, "undone,"  or get carried away with something.

We may find ourselves in a situation where we need to make a choice.  If you do, it is important to choose carefully and consider all potential outcomes because today's choices spark chains of events. The best choices have truth and love at the core.  Choose what aligns with your truth and what you truly love.

The "houseboat party" energetic also can "lighten" situations.  Viewing things (tasks, responsibilities, missions, projects, etc.) from the standpoint of how to make them more fun will bring more life to them.  The "unmooring" element of the "houseboat party" can also free our minds to take things outside of the box and in new directions.  "Loosening up" in some way will help things progress, especially if there is an obstacle.

Today's energetics also bring the opportunity to see other sides of ourselves -- sides that are undeveloped or have been dormant. 

Also, today is not the day to give up on anything that you have been working toward or anything you have put a lot of time and energy into.

We are always tethered to Gaia Sophia, Mother Earth, even when we feel the most unanchored.  We can float on the "currents" today, seeing where they take us, safe in the knowledge that we are always connected.  Today we embrace change, understanding that it is only scenery and meant only to broaden our experience of life.

Today on the Magic Carpet Ride of Astrological/Natural Year 2016-17 we learn something that enables us to choose a different way in order to prevent/interrupt a repeat of the past.

The Sun (the divine being Sabaoth, according to the ancients) and the Earth (the aeon Gaia Sophia, according to the ancients) are our teachers every day, but they are especially instructive today.

The Sun is discharging the energetic of "a chemist conducts an experiment for his students."  We see all of the elements, conditions, or circumstances of a situation, but we see how we can change those up to have an entirely new situation.  This would create a new experience of life.  How can the elements of a situation (or state of mind or a state of heart) be shuffled, recombined, and therefore renewed?  What do you want to change?

If the answers are not readily available, give it a little time.  The Earth is discharging the energetic of "a man being unmasked at a masquerade."  The curtain or shadow or façade that has blocked the answer or the information will fall.  We will have the opportunity to see something we need to see, learn something we need to learn.

Venus is adding to the "revelatory" energetics as it begins the day discharging "a man becoming aware of nature spirits and normally unseen spiritual energies."  Confusion is lifted.  We see and understand things we did not see and understand before.

These insights keep us off the "merry-go-round" of the past (if we choose to be off of it), as Venus ends the day discharging this energetic.  The past seems to offer comfort and security.  We can rely on the past -- we know it.  We also know where it leads -- what happens.  Today's energetics offer the opportunity for something different.  We are offered a chance for (could it be?) something better. 

As a previously traumatized species in process of working out of trauma, we rarely consider that things could be better.  Hope does not fit into a trauma response.  Trauma responses are about protecting oneself from harm happening again, so there is no room for hope, only survival.

I suggest we consider taking a step off of the trauma response "merry-go-round" and take a step toward a new way.  This step can start right now, today, as the energetics favor showing and teaching us something new.

By day's end, we should see the links and interconnections between things, enabling us to open up space for a different experience -- a different future.

I find that the Oracle Report is often most intelligible or useful at the end of the day, after the dynamics have played out.  If your habit is to read it earlier in the day, you may find that you get more out of it by also reviewing it sometime at the end of the day.

One other thing that is adding to the "revelatory" or "exposing" or "unmasking" nature of the day is the Moon's conjunction with the Black Moon.  Exact conjunction occurs at 7:00 pm ET/11:00 pm UT, but is dominant all day.  Be aware that people tend to project their own feelings and frustrations on to others when this aspect is in effect.  Things well up from the deep and the dark in order to transform.  The Black Moon in Scorpio digs deeply and can bring up the darkest of the dark.  This is because the sign of Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is considered the archetypal-astrological energy of the underworld.  The Black Moon and Pluto are consorts in the underworld.  Together they bring transformation and rebirth.  (This is most pronounced for those with the Sun, Black Moon, or Chiron in Taurus or Scorpio.  A rebirth of all levels of who you are is happening.  You are undergoing a massive overhaul in preparation for rebirth.  The overhaul lasts until February 14, 2017.)

So, understanding that "what was concealed is now revealed" as the primary dynamic in operation today, we learn something that enables us to do things or feel a different way.  We remember to incorporate the idea that things could actually be or feel a better way.  We allow hope to enter.  We engage our sacred masculine, our inner Thelete, to guide us using our hearts.  The heart's desire is the key to getting off of the "merry-go-round."  What is your will?  What is your desire?  Which way can it now be?  Which way would be better?

"STORIES" are important today, as we have powerful energetics to direct the course of events the way we would like them to go or be (especially if they have seemed "out of control" or "out of hand").  This is true, as always, for us personally and collectively.  Things can undergo dramatic renaissance.  We can undergo dramatic renaissance.  We can take great steps toward changing our personal and collective narratives today, as these energetics combine:

1- MERCURY: "a powerful statesman overcomes a state of political hysteria" - Charismatic energy is available -- the kind that turns the tide.  Equilibrium is established.  Emotions were running high this past weekend with the Venus-Mars square and the Jupiter-Chiron opposition, so there may well be things that need to come back into balance.  Things are coming up so that we can deal with them and move in the best directions.  This is what astrological squares produce: the opportunity for growth and development, induced through a change.  Life is not meant to be static or stagnant.  Squares are what makes things happen.

2- SUN: "a volunteer church choir makes a social event of rehearsal" - The Sun brings us the power to come together, find common ground, and integrate.  The symbol references voices joyfully uniting in spiritual service. Like-minded people, places, and things come together or come back together.  A practice or discipline of coming together in common mission carries unlimited positive ripple effects today.

3- EARTH: "a watchdog standing guard, protecting his master and his possessions" - The Earth amplifies the energetics of protection, loyalty, and guardianship.  We know this to be the true nature of dogs, but it is native to us as well (just overshadowed).  What do you want to protect or guard?  To what do you remain loyal or committed?  What is your guidance?  These are good questions to consider today.

4- VENUS: "black and white children playing happily" - Things that have seemed very far apart or dissimilar become less so today.  Dualities or divisions are resolved, often through a softening of beliefs.  Understanding or acknowledging gray areas can take quite a bit of pressure off of things.  It is ok for things to be "in process."

5- MARS: "two men playing chess" - The black and white theme recurs with Mars moving to this degree of the zodiac.  The "chessboard" of the world changes as nations make moves over the next couple of days.  These "moves" reveal longer term plans.  Hidden players are shown.  Double deals, double promises, and double crosses are rapidly coming to light right now with Uranus discharging "a double promise reveals its inner and outer meanings."  Look at all of the "leaks" that are happening.  This theme is enhanced today as the Moon makes opposition with Uranus, doubling the power for revelations.  Exact opposition of the Moon and Uranus occurs at 11:40am ET/3:40 pm UT.  Changes are afoot.

Something greater seeks us today.

The Sun is discharging the energetic of "cherub-like, a human soul whispers, seeking to manifest."  When this dynamic is in effect, life-changing things occur.  Things become more "real."  Deep realizations, significant developments, and new information come to us, bringing the power to entirely transform or change something. 

The purpose of this is to take us to another level -- a better place, a better mindset, a better understanding.

What is your deep inner voice whispering to you today?

There is a good chance that what develops today shows us the way forward -- the way ahead.  We see where we need to go or what is needed in order to proceed.  Guidance, direction, and the ability to persevere comes as the Earth discharges the energetic of "a train entering a tunnel."  When this is in effect, there is only one way to go: forward.  Trying to "go back" does not work well.  Remaining in the past or with what has been "left behind" is not an option.

Whispers can turn into sonic booms today, as Venus completes its journey through Leo, discharging 30 Leo: "an unsealed letter."  The truth comes out.  Leaks and disclosures occur, oftentimes impulsively.  We want to think twice before speaking.  Words cannot be taken back.  It is best to express as gently and respectfully as possible with this energetic.  Expressions of the heart ripple through time and space when we have the "unsealed letter" frequency of energy.  Take care with hearts.

At 11:28 am ET/3:28 pm UT, Venus will move out of Leo and into Virgo, discharging "in a portrait, the best of a man's features and traits are idealized."  This enables many things to unlock/progress/move forward.  It empowers us to put our best foot forward!  As the symbol implies, there can be a tendency to put people, places, and things up on a pedestal, sometimes at the cost of not seeing their reality or true nature.  The question to ask oneself is: Does it work?

Mercury is discharging "an expressionist painter making a futuristic drawing."  This reinforces the themes of "expressions of the heart" and "moving forward" that are already in place today.  The more original, creative, and imaginative anything is, the better (the greater).

The Moon will conjunct Jupiter at 11:20 pm ET/3:20 am UT, just as Jupiter moves to 24 Virgo: "Mary and her white lamb."  This is quite a shift out of the energetic of 23 Virgo: "a lion tamer rushes fearlessly into the circus arena."  A softening occurs.  With the Sun discharging the "cherub-like" energetic, and the Moon and Jupiter combining to discharge the innocence of "Mary and her white lamb," a return to ease can occur.  When pressure is taken off or released, everything becomes easier; we can hear what our hearts are whispering to us.

As the day progresses, relationships take on greater focus.  The primary dynamic in effect through the weekend is Venus making a square with Mars.  Exact square occurs Saturday, August 6 at 8:00 pm ET/midnight UT.  Venus at 02 Virgo shows us something important in relationships with "a large white cross - dominating the landscape - stands alone on top of a high hill."  Mars at 02 Sagittarius shows us what has been hidden and brings things to the surface with  "the ocean covered with whitecaps."  Longtime readers may remember that "the ocean covered with whitecaps" energetic can carry a high potential to effectively deceive.  It stirs things up or it keeps them hidden (to its detriment).  This combination of Venus and Mars (along with the religious undertones of today's energies), could very easily incite violence against others.  We will hold peace in our hearts.

Welcome to the New Moon in Leo, the month ruled by the Sun!

Here are the themes we have in store this month, with emphasis today:

1- CONVERGENCE OF ALIKE - (New Moon at "an evening lawn party of adults" and Mars at "retired army veterans gather to reawaken old memories") The principle of "like attracting like" is dominant this month.  In many ways, the qualities of respect, receptivity, refinement, and civility will actively counter the mayhem being induced by orchestrated traumatic events.  Like-minded people find ways to join forces or join together to share and be of service.

2 - THEATRICS AND DRAMA - (Saturn at "a theatrical representation of a golden haired goddess of opportunity") All the world is a stage this month, but wise owls rise above this and find ways for all the world to be a playground.  The restoration of Wisdom and Will (the emergence of Second Renaissance within humanity) is founded in a return to the heart's desires.  We are not blindly "played," we choose the roles we want to play and the way we want the world to be.  Our individual choices change the collective experience.  New opportunities, mindsets, beliefs, feelings, perceptions, and opportunities emerge and grow.

3 - REPAIR, RECTIFY, MAKE RIGHT - (Black Moon at "a dentist at work") Things reach a point where change must occur in order to restore balance and sanity.

4 - ADVANCING FEARLESSLY - (Jupiter at "a lion tamer rushes fearlessly into the circus arena")  The Wisdom Goddess Bhairavi fortifies our hearts with strength and courage this month to make advances.  We "up" our game.

4- RE-EXAMINATION AND REJECTION OF THE PAST AND THE OLD PARADIGM - (Chiron at "the purging of the priesthood")  In many ways, this energetic rids of us what hold us back or what is not in alignment with respect for and harmony with life.

5 - BREAKING THROUGH THE PRISM OF A PRISON - (Venus trine the Galactic Center at "daybreak - the luminescence of dawn in the eastern sky") Gradually throughout the month we will have realizations that re-position us and clear the way for new beginnings.  We break chains that have bound us.

6- NARCISSISM IS "ARCHONTISM" WITH ARCHONS GONE WILD- (Pluto at "school grounds filled with boys and girls in gym suits")  The drama of "archontic tantruming" and people utterly losing their senses continues, as expected this solar-lunar year.  The "magic carpet ride" of this solar lunar year finds people "blinded by the light" and making demands ("screeching" pretty much).  We hold the line, strong in our knowledge that what we are seeing is the rebirth of what is real and true and the end of what is flim flam and false.

7- DOUBLE DEALS AND CORRUPTION COMING TO LIGHT - (Uranus at "a double promise reveals its inner and outer meanings") We see the continuation of "what was done in the dark will be brought to the light."  What was concealed is revealed.  The cabal will continue attempts to execute controlled chaos and strife in order to take control.  Order out of chaos no longer works now that the goddess Sophia is awake and rising.  Word to the Illuminati: all that is undertaken this month will backfire next month.  Give it up.

8- WELL-CRAFTED DESTINY - (North Node at "a fine lace ornamental handkerchief")  The symphonic orchestration of our lives takes on new detail, complexity, and delicacy.  What would you like to weave for your future?

9- GRADUATION AND ELEVATION (Earth at "people on a vast staircase graduated upward" and Neptune at "an examination of initiates in the sanctuary of an occult brotherhood")  Time to take things to the next level, wise owls.  This energetic was the theme for the Aquarius 2014 lunar month, which occurred between January 30 - February 27, 2014.  Things that were happening then come to a new level or evolution.

These are the general themes for the month, but we will catch glimpses of these threads beginning today.

Good day, wise owls!  Today is the last day of this lunar month, a lunar month where we have faced much darkness in the world.  The energetic of "vast dark spaces" dissolves today within the mists of the Balsamic Moon phase.  By the natural cycles of time (based on the Earth, Sun, and Moon), Balsamic phase is the natural time of releasing what we no longer wish to "carry" with us into the next lunar cycle.

Today's energy has poignancy.  The point or reason underlying situations, circumstances, and conditions that happen today is to build inner and outer strength.

With this today, Mercury is discharging the energetic of "two guardian angels bring protection."  Sabian Symbol Queen (my name for her) Lynda Hill writes that we are "never alone" when this symbol is in effect, and that we are "always looked after in times of stress or indecision."

After a month of "vast dark spaces," we are beyond grateful to release burdens and worries to a higher power.  Emotional buildup (especially of anger) since the New Moon in Cancer on July 4 can flow outward. 

Strength is returned in its place.

We actually have a whole month of building inner and outer fortitude coming up.  The New Moon in Leo occurs tomorrow at 4:44 pm ET/8:44 pm UT.  Our HEARTS will be fortified. 

In preparation, it is a good idea to take some sort of action to release whatever we do not want to take with us into the next lunar month, and also what our hearts' desires are at this point in time.

The Second Renaissance (the Return of Wisdom) that is underway is a product of our hearts' desires.  It is an application of our will -- our free will.  This is easy, but we have forgotten how to know (gno).  To remember, a good place to start is with what you enjoyed doing (or wanted to enjoy doing, if it was inaccessible) as a child.  We grow up by growing down.  The heart's desires are rooted in Mother Earth, so that's where we aim.

What makes you feel happy?  What makes you feel grounded and centered?

If, after the "vast dark space" of this lunar month, you have no idea, try this technique: attempt routine tasks with your non-dominant hand.  This will begin the process of bringing balance to the hemispheres of the brain.  From this, things will begin to unfold or develop in different ways.  The inner child can emerge safely, pointing us in the true directions of our hearts.

The Sun and Venus will facilitate the release of the past month and the preparation for the new today with the Sun discharging the energetic of "early morning dew," and Venus discharging "after a heavy storm, a rainbow."  The Earth kicks in with "a popularity that proves to be fleeting."  So, things can go their own way.  They can fade away, be cast away, or go by the wayside.  They can be released to Mother Earth, Gaia Sophia and can be turned into something new.

Today is the last full day of Mars in Scorpio.  Three cheers!  Mars will re-enter Sagittarius tomorrow at 1:50 pm ET/5:50pm UT, a little less than three hours before the New Moon.  Until then, Mars is discharging the energetic of "children in Halloween costumes indulging in various pranks."  It's mischievous energy, but it also pierces the veils between the worlds (which, we remember, is characteristic of the Balsamic Moon phase, so we have double the effect today).

The fellowship of humanity and elements of universal brotherhood and sisterhood are strong today with Mercury moving (at 1:45 pm ET/5:45 pm UT) to the degree of "black and white children playing happily together."  More children.

The playground of Gaia Sophia is active today, isn't it?  The field is wide open for our hearts' desires.  Let's release the recesses of vast dark spaces in our hearts and minds, and prepare for the next lunar month: "an evening lawn party of adults."

Childhood within adulthood just may be heavenly.

Ready for a personal revolution and rebirth in consciousness?

Today's energetics certainly get things fired up.  The Sun is discharging the energetic of " a Communist activist spreading his revolutionary ideas," and Mercury swimmingly discharges "a mermaid emerges from the ocean ready for rebirth in human form."

This combination brings forth something within us to take us to the next level.

The energy could be rather radical also, as the Moon opposes Saturn at the degree of "aroused strikers around a factory."  Whatever is being aroused within us leads to a golden opportunity, as we remember Saturn is discharging "a theatrical representation of a golden haired goddess of opportunity."

And, a second chance to receive important information or messages (guidance, clarity, or omens of good fortune in particular) as a second chance is offered today with Venus coming to the degree Mercury discharged on Monday: "a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission."  What would be fulfilling for you right now?

Being able to "walk the talk" is highly emphasized with the Earth discharging "beautifully gowned wax figures on display."  Look beyond the exterior or outer appearances, as things are much deeper than what is on surface.  This energetic can alert us to what is false or is presenting as something else.  It can also make us very hard on ourselves and others, if we desire perfection, which is most definitely unrealistic.

Today the mighty Sun discharges the energetic of "the constellations of stars in the sky."  The sky is the limit today!

Let's see what the constellations of stars tell us:

NEW BEGINNINGS, ENDEAVORS, PERSPECTIVES, AND FEELINGS are highlighted today.  Mercury is located at the degree of "daybreak, the luminescence of dawn in the eastern sky."  What sweet relief a chance for a new beginning can be.  Light returns to help us see and realize.  Perceptions and perspectives change when this energetic is in effect.  Transitions are facilitated.  Changes of mind and mood occur.

A slight element or sense of loss related to something that is letting go may come up.  The nature of life is for the Sun to set and for it to rise.  Change is the way of the Universe.  We want to allow and flow with this natural rhythm today.

Adding to the theme of new beginnings, endeavors, perspectives and feelings is the Earth at "a child born out of an eggshell."  We have the emergence of new ways of doing things, as well as the fruition of projects that have been under construction.  Ideas are hatched under this dynamic.

Fears about failure and self-persecution about perceived weaknesses and mistakes may arise.  It may be hard to trust that new beginnings, endeavors, perspectives, and feelings are valid or even possible.  All things are possible, especially today, since the sky is the limit.  We do not want to box ourselves in with fear or limit our hopes, wishes, and dreams.  It's much wiser to use the energy to make wishes upon "constellations of stars."  Wishes engage and direct our will and desire.  It is very important to not give up hope for the future or become mired in distrust right now.

It may take a couple of attempts to get the new beginning, endeavor, perspective, or feeling underway or off the ground, as Venus is discharging "intoxicated chickens dizzily flap their wings trying to fly."  With this dynamic, we break through the fugue or fog of old paradigms that confuse our minds.  In my experience, this energetic creates high levels of success, but tends to doubt the capability to succeed.  Mostly this involves timing and patience. 

When the "dizzy chickens" archetypal energy is in effect, we may seek escape through something (that intoxicates) or from something (that hinders) in order to gain perspective.  Ultimately, the "dizzy chickens" energetic shows us where we need to accept personal responsibility.  When we do, opportunities open.

Third Quarter Moon phase is the time of the lunar month where we examine all that has transpired, take responsibility for it, and revise our thinking and plans.  We examine what has developed with the wish or intention set at the New Moon.  That was back on July 4 - which seems like an eternity ago, doesn't it.  Much has happened in the world since then.  What needs to be revised or realigned?  Third Quarter Moon phase is the time for that.

So, on our year long "magic carpet ride" with the cycles of the Sun and Moon, today the sky is the limit.  Let's fly this magic carpet like an eagle, soaring and gaining perspective today.

What does your heart tell you today?

The heart's guidance is important today, as there are energetics in effect that tend to induce DRAMA, RITUAL, AND THEATRE. 

The Earth is located at the degree of "a masked figure performs ritualistic acts in a mystery play."  Venus is discharging the energetic of "American Indians perform a ritual to the Sun."  And Saturn will move to "a theatrical representation of a golden goddess of opportunity."

With these, we are aware that some things easily appear not as they seem.  We look behind the scenes of the drama, ritual, and theatre to see what is actually happening.  We see the actual "gold" or value or validity of things, situations, and circumstances.

Each of us is a player in the grand narrative, that is being written in real time.  The question is:  In which narrative are you cast?  What story are you living?  Is it aligned with the narrative of the rise of humanity?  Is it aligned with personal and collective liberation?

"A show" is certainly being put on to redirect our focus onto heartbreak, loss, and grief for humanity.  Masked figures are performing to lead us astray -- away from golden opportunities for life, love, and joy.

It is important to feel our feelings as terror and violence abound.  The Black Moon in Scorpio can take us heavily into the darkness of Scorpio's Underworld.  The Moon in Taurus, Scorpio's opposite, strongly reinforces this energetic, and will do so until the Moon moves into Gemini tomorrow.  And, the Sabian symbol or energetic frequency for this Third Quarter Moon phase is "a widow at an open grave."

I report these not to emphasize the sadness, but to help us understand that the particular combination of energetics right now would naturally elicit feelings of grief and loss even if the level of terror was not happening.  When a new trauma occurs, it builds on old traumas.  Old traumas are often triggered or re-experienced.  We are processing the grief and sorrow of our lives.  This is no easy feat.

But it does signify a turn, because as we process the feelings, they no longer have a hold on us.  Soon, much that we no longer need to carry with us will be purged.  And that is a good thing because there are many golden opportunities ahead.

The masked figures of the cabal that are being unmasked are attempting to have us believe otherwise.  But when masks are taken down, healing occurs.  Healing is what is happening.

Mercury moves to the degree of "after a heavy storm, a rainbow."  We know that there are golden opportunities after a storm.  Release from stresses and worries of the mind come with this energetic.  Answers and information can come at any time to end any internal "heavy storms."  Seeing the good or the blessings in our lives often helps.  Those things are there, even if we do not feel like they are.

UPDATING, NEW APPROACHES, and REFRESHMENT are indicated today with the Sun discharging "an old-fashioned conservative woman is confronted by an up-to-date girl."  Indeed the times are changing.  This energetic wants to free us from things that are taken as given.  Anything we want to change about ourselves (including but far beyond the conception of appearances and images) is supported by the Sun today.  We may be faced with a choice, likely about something from the past that continues to have a hold.

Note:  Saturn is retrograde (appears to move backward) until August 13, and will station direct (appears to move forward once again) at the degree of the "golden haired goddess of opportunity" energetic on August 13.  Saturn will not make it to the next degree until August 30, so we will have many golden opportunities that will cross our magic carpet ride until then.  How lucky.
