Today, a dance between the past and the future takes place.  This sends our attention into the "multiverse of time."  It enables us to not only see the future ahead of its time, but also to see the past as very different, and therefore overwriting it.

Much power is trapped in our past -- in our feelings in the past.  Since there really is no such thing as "time" or "linear time," the feelings can be recovered and re-considered.

Mercury stations retrograde today, and it's goal between now and October 9 is to help us turn time inside out.  Mercury stations retrograde around 2:00 pm ET/6:00 pm UT at 15 Libra 55 and the Sabian symbol of "after a storm, a boat landing stands in need of reconstruction" (corrected from yesterday's report).  Mercury isn't going to create a storm or a tidal wave while it is retrograde; the symbol tells us the storm has already happened.  The reconstruction time -- the time of renaissance, the aftermath -- is the focus.  Mercury is a messenger that can travel in ways that others cannot.  Time and space do not bind Mercury

Quite the contrary, time and space are of the utmost to Saturn, the so-called Lord of Time.  Today, Saturn leaves the sign of Scorpio and enters Sagittarius.  This happens around midnight ET/4:00 am UT.  Saturn wants to lord over us and our sense of time.  Saturn begins to discharge the energy of 01 Sagittarius and the Sabian symbol "retired army veterans gather to reawaken old memories."  Saturn wants us to look back, but the symbol implies that it is for the purposes of re-vitalization -- reawakening.

All of this, again, enables us to go back into the past in our hearts and minds and "take back" any personal energy or power that is trapped there.  We can release the feelings that were experienced then, so that the trauma does not have to keep hurting and affecting us.

To do this, we look at the past a different way.  We see that it is not happening right now.  We can go back and see how we have grown from (mastered) the situation, based on the wisdom and experience of our lives.  It is a trauma response to live under the belief that something that happened in the past will immanently happen again.

So today, we are not at the mercy of Mercury stationing retrograde because we know the energetic is refining, reworking, and re-building things.  Disruptions in communications, electronics, and travel accompany Mercury's retrograde.  When we know the potential is in place, we can opt for patience.  If something isn't working or flowing, step away from it for a little while then return to it.  Mercury wants us to reconsider things, so it's good to "let it be" and go back a little later.

Mercury is in opposition to Uranus, which brings heightened potential for accidents.  Stay focused and attentive while driving.  Double check that things are turned off and flames are extinguished.  Make or save back-up copies if it is something important.

Today, we will dance with the forces of time instead of them dancing us.  We stand in the point of power in the center, wielding our minds to recover pieces of the past to build a better future.

The rhythms of nature are in flux today, as we are in a time of transitioning energies.  Since things are very changeable today, we do not want to be too attached to things going or being a certain way.  To some degree, it's easiest to let higher forces "drive" situations and conditions instead of us pushing or forcing our will.  We can save ourselves much angst and frustration if we follow the universe's lead.

Here's why the energy is in a state of flux:

THE MOON LEAVES LIBRA just before noon Eastern time/4:00 pm Universal time.  This is the first time the Moon has transited (moved through) Libra since the Black Moon entered Libra on August 24/25.  This was our first experience of what this will be like and in what ways everyone's shadow sides will be projected during the Black Moon's nine month transit through Libra (until May 16. 2016).  So until noon ET today, the remnants of people's shadow sides can come out.  This means fear can come out.  If you find yourself in a dramatic interpersonal interaction or being "accused," consider that what someone is saying is actually how they think or feel about themselves.

MERCURY PREPARES TO STATION RETROGRADE TOMORROW, but is already sitting at the degree where it will retrograde: 15 Libra 55 and the Sabian symbol of "two men placed under arrest."  Mercury will station retrograde (appear to move backward in the sky) around 2:00 pm ET/6:00 pm UT tomorrow (Thursday, September 17).  Communications, electronics, travel, and plans are often disrupted while Mercury is retrograde, and the most intense effects happen on the day the planet stations retrograde (tomorrow) or when it stations direct (Mercury will be retrograde until October 9, 2015).  Mercury is in flux today, wobbling along until it goes back tomorrow to re-make, re-do, revise, re-work situations, conditions, projects, and relationships.

CHIRON MOVES TO A NEW DEGREE, changing the energetics to favor the receipt of wisdom.  Chiron moves from the Sabian symbol of "a table set for an evening meal" - which is all about preparing - to the energy of "a master instructing his disciple" - which is all about receiving.  Spirit sits down at the dinner table of consciousness that we have prepared, and then fills the evening with stories of hero's journeys.  We receive wisdom.  Chiron will discharge this energetic until October 9.

NEPTUNE MOVES TO A NEW DEGREE, adding more flux into the field.  Neptune now disseminates the energy of 08 Pisces and "a girl blowing a bugle."  Neptune's energy is helping Gaia Sophia wake people out of slumber.  Neptune will be at this degree for a long, long time.  It will station direct at this degree on November 18/19 and then toggle back through it until JANUARY 18, 2016!  A call to action begins to reverberate today.

SATURN SPENDS ITS LAST DAY IN SCORPIO, as it prepares to move into Sagittarius tomorrow.  Today, it disseminates the last bits of the Sabian symbol "children in Halloween costumes indulging in various pranks."  This makes the day very nebulous and tricky and mischievous and wily.  It goes somewhat out of control, which, again, speaks to not wasting a lot of energy trying to control it.

There are other elements contributing to the state of flux today, but you get the idea.  This doesn't mean that we give up, thinking we can accomplish nothing today; we can accomplish much.  It just helps to understand that it is not entirely under our control.  All lunar month, a tidal wave of spiritual energies is coming through to rectify, restore, and rebirth things. 

Today, we lean how to operate within the chaotic flux of the cosmos and recognize it as the beautiful co-creation with Spirit that it is.

Yesterday's complex and intense energetics calm down somewhat today, as a theme of "simplicity" enters.  We aim for simplification within the complexity.

Three things will assist this:

SHARING (discussing) the situation with others

COMPROMISING with others

RESTORING THE FUN in whatever way we can.  The Sabian symbol for this lunar month is "a girls basketball team," and so far I have only discussed this from the competitive perspective.  Winning is great, but the real value is in enjoying playing the game with others.  Being part of a team that enjoys what it is doing is the best.

The notions of sharing with others and socializing repeats in several of the energetic signatures today.  The intention is to drive us toward what is comforting.  In doing so, we come into a state of "innocence" or "back to basics."  Keeping things simple and bringing them back to basics equalizes tension and intensity.  The last few days have been energetically tense!

 Today we are guided toward authenticity, and the things that come from it are seeds of the Second Renaissance.  Where can you simplify?

(A comment on the "Assessment of the Deconstruction" - Yesterday was the second of three opportunities this solar-lunar year where the potential for nefarious activities to take power and control over the collective of humanity is at maximum.  It looks like V for victory for Team Gaia Sophia, once again, but I am not ready to call it yet.  The Moon will oppose Uranus today at 2:28 pm ET/6:28 pm UT at the degree of the next New Moon, the New Moon in Libra, and the Sabian symbol of "a Jewish rabbi performing his duties."  This New Moon phase ends overnight Wednesday, so we remain aware.  The third opportunity comes with the New Moon in Libra on October 12.

A note to those with the Sun or Black Moon in Aries or Libra: Today is a "Black Moon day," since the Moon is in Libra and the Black Moon is in Libra.  Over the next nine months, a rebirth of your entire self is happening.  It can feel like a dark night of the soul, but it is actually an adventure of the soul.  It goes into deep territory -- into our fears and into a face-to-face encounter with our true selves.  Ideas about worthiness accompany this because the transit is designed to help us see the totality and value of ourselves.  It challenges beliefs.  It is wise to surrender to what is being revealed, as resisting it only makes it harder on ourselves.  The goal is to, as best we can, embrace the experience as an adventure that will yield a great reward.  This is the hero's journey.

It's a powerful day with powerful waves of energy.  Today, when wise owls sense the wave (through feelings of overwhelm, powerlessness, fear, loss, or other extremes), we will stop and let the wave pass through us.

The energy can become crazily surreal.  Emotions can go all over the place.  This is because a wave of spiritual energy was released yesterday with the New Moon in Virgo.  This wave is pouring through the nooks, crevices, and corners of everything.  It is pounding through in a torrent.

The torrent is a good thing because it is clearing the way for new opportunities and new beginnings.  But because newness implies a change, it can be misinterpreted as feeling "not good."  As a traumatized species, we are overcoming our fear that we are destined for doom.  We are learning that change is the way of the universe, and that it is a dance that flows, not a game to see who is left standing.

If you feel like your emotions are coming in too fast, your body is trying to adjust.  Try picturing yourself "sliding" underneath it and out of the fray.

It will also help to not try to do too much today.  If a loss is experienced, it may be somewhat temporary.  Is it too soon to judge the final outcome?  If so, let it be.

The strength and combination of the energies today may have us vacillating between feeling quite energized to harness or seize the day and then quickly turn to feeling quite overwhelmed.  We don't want to engage all of this too much.  A powerful spiritual event is occurring.  Recognizing this, we can step back or step out of the swirling torrent and let it do its thing.  We can "de-personalize" it to some degree.

It's an important day.  We continue to practice the skill of the wise owl in a tree, observing all that is happening, ready to respond if necessary.  At the same time, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature, the mind of the Wisdom Goddess Sophia.  Wisdom let us attend.

The "100 Hours" of the Balsamic Moon comes to a close today.  The Virgo New Moon enters at the following times:

Until that time -- today -- there is only one thing to "do," but it is perhaps one of the hardest things to do: step outside of ourselves and connect with something greater.  This means we de-focus on our personal/individual lives and re-focus on the fellowship of humanity.

It is the job of wise owls to, as best we can, de-personalize pretty much everything that comes our way today.  Though things happen in our lives, oftentimes dramatic and deeply emotional things, today it is important that we not become mired in ourselves, project ourselves, react to others, succumb to wounding, or pontificate on the goings-on of our personal world.

The Sabian symbol for the Virgo New Moon is "a girls basketball team."  As the saying goes, there is no I in team.

Until the New Moon, we are like wise owls in a tree, immersed in the scene of nature, but watching it from a different perspective.

After the New Moon, we are like wise owls that come out of the tree and fly up to join together in a ring of wings around the world (meditation below).  A collective of human beings unifying around the idea that "love prevails" and sending goodwill to all is a powerful thing.

There are wise owls all over the world, as demonstrated to me in the many beautiful emails after recording the "Messages in a Bottle."  Thank you all!  The infusion of love into this Balsamic Moon phase is astounding.  Hearts have been fortified and are now ready to unify.

Today, we aim to go beyond ourselves in trust.  We understand that a bigger picture is unfolding.  We hold the line -- hold the space -- at a key time of the emerging Second Renaissance.  We take a higher view today.

The most important thing today is to be prepared to respond.  Do not wait around if something crosses your path.  

Several things are in play today, so let's take them one at a time:

CIRCULAR PATHS:  Mercury moves to the Sabian symbol of "circular paths," and with it comes situations that feel like repeats.  It can be hard to see options or new ways or ways out.  It's easy to fall into hopelessness and powerlessness because we tend to think that progress or change is not happening when this energy is in effect.  This symbol, however, implies that things are not the same as they were "last time around."  Humanity has awakened and gained wisdom since the last time.  The cycle has changed.  This alone provides help with the hopelessness, but we have even more help with this because...

THE SUN IS DISSEMINATING THE ENERGY OF "A CARAVAN OF CARS HEADED FOR PROMISED LANDS" We are headed into new territory, pioneering the Second Renaissance, and we are headed there to together!  This symbol is the opposite of "circular paths."  Instead of going in circles, we are going in a straight line.  It is good to venture into anything new that presents itself today in order to check it out.  We want to be cautious that we aren't being rooked, so watch what the other hand is doing and watch for attempts to divert you from your own path.  

9:24 pm ET/1:24 am UT: Venus will finally, after 10 days, move to a new degree, the degree of "brilliant sunshine just after the storm."  This energy discusses how perhaps some of the storms in our lives are truly over and how things that have blocked, clogged, and bogged us are retreating.  It's wonderful energy to resolve things or clear things up.  This is the image we should hold today: brilliant sunlight.  Renewal is at hand.

11:45 pm ET/3:45 am UT: The Moon will conjunct Jupiter at the degree of "a harem."  This energetic is widely in effect (because it is Jupiter) so there is a tendency to wait around to be chosen.  This is exactly the mindset we do NOT need today.  We need to be responsive, not submissive.  We do not need to wait around for something or someone that we feel has authority.  We think for ourselves.

2:43 am ET/6:43 am UT: The Sun will oppose Chiron tomorrow.  This dynamic first brings wounding, then it brings healing, then we gain wisdom from it.  The Sun will still be discharging "a caravan of cars headed for promised lands," and Chiron is discharging "a table set for an evening meal."  The best laid plans may go awry.  This is ok because there is something more that is to develop. Or, even better, it may lead to new plans and new opportunities.  We want to engage the power of the pioneer and follow where this month's carrier pigeon leads us.  Divine messages and guidance continue all the way to the New Moon on Sunday.  What prizes, rewards, or treasures still await?

Today there is one mission, and it is a critical one because we are in an important time - a very mystical and historical time. 

The mission is to trust.

The reason today's mission is to trust is because the primary energetic in play today is Mars at the degree of "intoxicated chickens dizzily flapping their wings trying to fly."  Frustration and doubt easily arise in us.  We want to break limitations, but it can seem almost against all odds, making us want to try harder.  But, at this stage of things, our efforts don't have to be graceful or perfect, they just have to happen.  It's the trying that counts, especially when it is against all odds.  To do that, we trust that we will get there.

As discussed yesterday, the power of belief is at maximum levels between now and the New Moon in Virgo on Sunday.  I've kept yesterday's post below for review because today's report is a continuation of yesterday's and so on until the New Moon.

The power to fertilize the "field of the future" is happening right now.  The mindset we hold - FEAR OR LOVE- is the determinant of the course of the future and the Second Renaissance of Consciousness or the Return of Wisdom.

For our purposes, this translates to monitoring the "fields" of our minds through the remainder of the Moon phase (the 100 Hours in yesterday's report).  Where is your mind set?  Is it set on love - as in the harvest and abundance, or is it set on fear - as in broken chaffs and withered potential?  The approach of the Sun and Moon's path through the harvest fields of Virgo can bring either.  Both exist; we choose our field - consciously or not.

Here, we strive to be wise owls not dizzy chickens.  We recognize that the success of the "field" has as much to do with the quality of the soil as it does with the strength of the seed's genes.  Even the fiercest genes struggle in poor soil.  So we want to clean up and nurture our minds and make sure that we are holding a higher mindset of harmony and love, against what may seem to be strong odds in the world now.

And this is where we come back to trust because sometimes that is the only thing we have left to try.  If you are struggling to feel positive and hopeful about the future, you are feeling the effects of the greater dynamics that I discussed in the "Messages in a Bottle" audios (a trauma response to the geopolitical assault that is forming).  At it's core, this is a reaction to something that happened in the past.  It's important that we see how things are not the same way now.  Is what you are feeling an imprint from the past or truly going on in the here and now?

Be aware that the Moon will conjunct Mars at the "dizzy chickens" degree at 3:58 pm ET/7:58 pm UT, enhancing the overall effect that builds all day.

The Sun will disseminate the energy of "a swimming race," which often brings emotional overload.  If we are comparing ourselves to others in some way, we are wasting precious time and energy.

Mercury will disseminate the degree of "in the heat of noon, a man takes a siesta."  Dizzy chickens and wise owls alike will need a break at some point today, most likely when the high light of high noon brings clarity about something.

This clarity that is delivered is something that has been trying to find us since June 29/30.  Venus has been at the degree of "a pageant moving along a street packed with people" for 9 days - since September 1.  Venus usually moves about one degree each day!  That's one long parade.  Venus had something she wanted each of us to see - what we personally value.  What has the drama revealed to you?

Tomorrow, Venus finally moves to "brilliant sunshine just after the storm."  Do we trust that sunshine returns after a storm?  It happens all the time.

When you follow the cycles of nature and the music of the spheres, space, time, and experience begins to flow in a different way.

So in the Gregorian count (calendar), it's a Wednesday - the middle of the archontic matrix's "work week" and almost the end of a "fiscal quarter" with all that this entails and produces in the world.

But in the natural cycle of the Sun and Moon, it's the first day of the Balsamic phase of the Leo cycle.  In short, this means that between now and the New Moon in Virgo on Sunday, we have some of the best "conditions" to have a direct influence on the future - the next two months in particular.  We have the best opportunity to put our wise owl wings over the world to assist in the restoration of peace, balance, and sanity.

Usually, the Oracle Report focuses mostly on the daily energetics, and it is today as well.  But it is important to think bigger over the next four days - the days of the Balsamic Moon phase.  It is important to maintain a mindset that is looking at "time" a little differently.

In a way, the next four days could be thought of as one day that is about 100 hours long.

Does that sound daunting?  Well, there is nothing to feel overwhelmed about because it is always like this, we just don't tend to think of it this way.  It's this way each Moon phase.  It's one explanation of why when we are having emotional, mental, or physical challenges, we don't feel "better" when a new day begins or even when the Moon moves to a new sign.  The natural way of life is structured and organized around the eight phases of the Sun and Moon.  Things always change when the Moon phase changes.

How does that make you feel?

Does it take a little pressure off, causing relief and maybe a sense of expansion?  Or does it feel out of control and too flow-y?

There is no right answer.  But your answer may explain how you experience the next four days influences the future.  If you can think of them as a totality of one (or better yet, Oneness), and understand that they are an opportunity to make a direct impact on your own future and the world at large, does it produce a shift?

Today, we are finishing out the Sun's dissemination of "a volcanic eruption" and the potential for people, places, and things to suddenly "erupt" comes with it.  It's very easy for things to burn hot, burn quickly, and burn out.  So the wisdom is to pace ourselves and to step back and think about things before reacting.  Having a light-hearted attitude will help. That's really all we need to know about today. 

But something much grander is happening beneath the heavy layers.  The universe asks us to make a "wish list."  The field of consciousness is as ripe as it gets to implant a vision.  So when we hold a vision of the world as a happy and freely expressed place, we make it so.

The world as happy and free is the future.  But it is also now, though still somewhat buried under sand or dust or water, or however you see it.  This world is rising.  Wouldn't we want to be part of that instead of part of the parts that are falling?  Why be on the losing team when the losing team lacks integrity?  No fun.

Mercury moves to the degree of the Sabian symbol of "children blowing soap bubbles."  We are all on Gaia Sophia's playground blowing bubbles.  Thought bubbles are magical right now.  They float far away and will pop with potential at the New Moon.

Today, let's step out of the path of any volcanic eruptions and choose instead to make some magic with our minds.  Envision a beautiful world over the next 100 hours and see how that changes your own experience.

As the day continues, we move from energy that has rather unique features that spark curiosity to energy where all kinds of other things can spark off. 

The Sun will discharge the energy of "children crowd around the orangutan cage in a zoo" until 7:43 pm ET/11:43 pm UTDo you feel cagey or caged?  Or maybe in awe or wonderment? This symbol brings us into closer contact with the unusual or the inspirational.

Closer contact may turn into outright eruptions as the Sun will then begin to disseminate the energy of "a volcanic eruption."  Things that have been building up are released, often in dramatic displays.  Volatility and intense anger can surface,  "Smoke" may be seen as advance warning (intuition will give cues).

The planet that rules anger and explosions is Mars, and Mars, which is in Leo, a fire sign, is firing off "American Indians perform a ritual to the Sun."  We are directed to return to nature and to direct our thanks to the being embodied as our Sun.  Giving thanks is always good, but this energy makes it particularly potent in its effects.

There's more fire, though.  Mars in fiery Leo is making a trine (120 degree angle - sets things in place and facilitates) to Uranus in fiery Aries.  Uranus is the Planet of Changes and Planet of the Unexpected.  Change and the unexpected opens space for better ways.  But these things may come about abruptly.  If it seems that the new way is not a better way, this is only because the silver lining has not yet been revealed.  This is the nature of Uranus.  The outcome can only be good.  You can count on it.  Uranus is discharging the energy of "a young girl feeding birds in winter."  Nurturance and assistance in a time of need underlies Uranus' motives right now.

Since we are building up to a release -- a catharsis of sorts -- we will endeavor to do this gently.  We aim to be gentle with ourselves and gentle with the fellowship of humanity.  It's a wonder to behold.  Maybe even spectacular.

Venus stations direct Sunday around 4:30 am ET/8:30 am UT.  Venus stationed retrograde at 01 Virgo on July 25 at the Sabian symbol of "in a portrait, the best of a man's features and traits are idealized."  During its retrograde, Venus wanted us to see things clearly.  

Venus retrograde has asked us to see what we truly value.  What has been over-idealized or over-idolized?  Venus has wanted us to see reality, not illusion or inflated representation.  It wants us to see truth. 

When Venus is retrograde, it puts stress on relationships so that they can come to a higher level.

Today, the final opportunity for this comes like a "pageant moving along a street packed with people," the Sabian symbol for 15 Leo and the degree where Venus stations direct.  The spectacle of what we've seen about ourselves and others, and how we define true love makes it unmistakable.  If we are looking (standing on the street watching), we will gain the wisdom that Venus has intended.

Venus stationing direct is the big story this weekend, but other themes are also in play:

TRAPS:  Is something or someone trying to outfox us?  Images that are facades or disguises are more easily presented.  It is also easy to fall into the trap of feeling unworthy or undeserving of goodness.  Potential for "false flag" operations is higher this weekend. 

HISTORY: Where do your roots run?  Do they run deep?  To what are you committed?  No matter what our family history or situation, we are all rooted deeply with the Earth, Gaia Sophia.  Memories and traditions come back to us to reconnect us with who we truly are.  Situations may develop where we feel "uprooted" or unconnected with our grander self and a grander power.  We will not be misdirected.

RE-EXAMINATION:  This weekend, Mercury, the Messenger, is disseminating the energy of "a professor peering over his glasses at his students" and "miners emerging from a coalmine."  Situations develop to give us a different and deeper lens of perception.  This is the perfect time for this because we are now in the Third Quarter Moon phase, the time of the lunar cycle where we re-assess and revise.  This lunar cycle, Spirit has sought to deliver us a message - an important one, and Third Quarter is the last attempt at delivery.  It's time to come out of the dark.

DELICACY:  A long time ago, my grandmother wrote a poem entitled "Skim Lightly."  The first line goes:

Skim lightly o'er the fires of life

We want to skim lightly this weekend.  We want to take delicate care of what we love and weave appreciation throughout it.

Today's energy has high potential to take us through "dangerous" waters of the mind - mindsets that can take us off course and into despair.  Chaos and disequilibrium make for rough rapids, but wise owls ban together to hold the line and maintain inner equilibrium.

The Sun is discharging the energetic of "a powerful statesman overcomes a state of political hysteria."  Mercury is discharging the energy of "a canoe approaching safety through dangerous waters."  This can cause things in our individual lives and the world at large to get out of hand and carried too far. 

Paradoxically, feelings of inner hysteria (feelings of anxiety, fear, concern, worry, sadness, hopelessness) are happening to fortify our will - our attitude, character, power, resolve, conviction, volition, desire, courage, determination, and mettle.

The world is in flux right now, and we are, too, but both Sabian symbols show positive outcomes.  The statesman overcomes and the canoe approaches safety.

As Venus prepares to station direct (or appears to move forward in the sky again) tomorrow, it is helping us align with balance, sanity, peace, love, freedom, and destiny.  Venus has been retrograde since July 25, and during this time the values we hold have been undergoing transformation.  Ideals, as well as illusions, have been examined.  We have different ideas about what it means to be happy.

Things that we thought were "ideal" may now seem much less so.

Alchemy is in play to transform people, places, and things from one state of being to another.  New combinations, elements, or "ingredients" are mixed together now to refresh what is truly of value to us.

Holding the line (maintaining a strong center and inner equilibrium) amidst chaos is an act of love for the fellowship of humanity.  In Gnostic terms, we are couched within the mind of the aeon Gaia Sophia (Wisdom) and within the arms of the aeon Thelete (Will).  We unite our wisdom with our will.  When we do, we see that a grand drama is unfolding, and we take up our part.  We already know it will work out well.  The Sabian symbols tell us that we overcome and we are safe. 

Let's maintain a firm connection with the planet and step back from the fear that is pushed today.  Wise owls hold the line.

EXPOSURE:  Today, what was concealed is revealed.  Truth, especially true feelings, true intentions, and true motivations, are exposed.  This could come about in dramatic shows or displays so that we get the message.  So, once again, anything that "stands out" or "shows out" is happening to see something important.

HEARING AND OVERHEARING: In addition to what we see today, what we hear is also very important.  Background noise, conversations, synchronicities, correspondences, and anything that is overheard is trying to be heard.  In general, people want to be heard today.  Weaving through this, forming an underpinning, is the spirit of unity that is bringing like-minded people, ideas, and projects together.  True coalitions are forming.

DESTINY:  Early today, the Black Moon moved to the 2nd degree of Libra, beginning to discharge the energy of "the light of the sixth race transmuted to the seventh" through September 11.  Mercury was at this degree last Friday (August 28), so things that occurred on that day may recur in some way or be resolved in some way.

But the reason for the "destiny" heading is because the North Node (destiny) is conjunct the Black Moon.  This dynamic changes the "order" of things.  New orders are implemented.  This is an unprecedented opportunity for complete overhaul and reform that is a rare occurrence.  The Black Moon and the North Node make a conjunction (meet up at the same place in the sky) for only week every nine years.  This dynamic leads us into the next New Moon, which is going to be a pivotal month.

If there is something you want to overhaul, reform, transmute, or rise above in your life, now is a good time for that because the energetics strongly support it.

Keep in mind that this energetic is about a new, more spiritually-aligned advancement of things, not a return to a "lower" level.   Attempts to the contrary will not be successful.

TESTS:  Situations may arise where we feel like we are being tested or judged by others, possibly people to whom we have given away our power.  Is division being pushed through manipulation and lies?  Remember that truth is being exposed today.

REPETITION:  Helping to "transmute the sixth race to the seventh," today Jupiter moves to the sixth degree of Virgo: "a merry-go-round."  This is in effect until September 6th, which is also the day Venus stations direct (appears to move forward in the sky).  Between now and September 6, issues within romantic relationships (and blasts from the past) come up again to move to a different level or status.  We do not need to do the same thing or repeat mistakes over and over again.  We can do it differently.  We are powerful, and all of the energy supports growth now.

We are watching and listening today.  Pay attention to things happening in threes or the number three.  This month's "carrier pigeon" may be trying to get your attention this way to help us get the message.

We move into the Disseminating phase of the Moon today, the time when interpersonal communications are at a high for the month, enabling us to provide and receive feedback and information that is important to our development and to the fullest expression of who we are. Information rains down from the sky.

Today the Sun is located at the degree of "two heads looking out and beyond the shadows."
We are wise to step outside of ourselves and our own perceptions and look at things from other perspectives -- from another's point of view or from the other side's point of view.  We look at things a different way.

A primary result of looking at both sides of something is RE-EVALUATION.  "Value" is the key part of the word.  When we change our perception, we change our mind, and this changes our "value system."  What we deem as worthy or treasurable comes to a new level. 

Also, Venus' retrograde through September 6 is taking our views of the past into wider arenas precisely for the same purpose of overhauling what we value.  Venus' light wants us to see reality, and, continuing from yesterday, it will make things "stand out" in order for us to recognize them.  Things may "come apart" or deconstruct into smaller parts in order for us to take in or "process" the wisdom and understand.

Today's energetics naturally involve a level of duality or division with situations so that we can take in a bigger view, but we won't let that divide and conquer us.  The process of seeing other sides or ways or possibilities actually unifies and integrates. 

If things appear to be coming apart, it is more likely that they are being re-evaluated.

One of my favorite books as a youngster was Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach.  A mishap (or what was perceived as a mishap) occurs when a magic potion meant to bring happiness and great adventures is accidentally spilled onto a peach.  The magic is so powerful that it delivers happiness and great adventures to James (and the creatures inhabiting the peach when it was transformed) even through the mishap.  It still happened; it just didn't happen the way James envisioned (or wanted) it to happen.

When we look at things a different way, we see that there is more going on than meets the eye.  We engage the magic.  This is our mission to fulfill today.

Multiple things are happening in the sky today to change the energetics of the way life feels and what we experience:

SUN OPPOSES NEPTUNE/EARTH CONJUNCTS NEPTUNE: This only happens one day each year.  This year, a flood of emotions and clarity brings forward plans for the future.  Lines are drawn; connections are made.  Our decisions and actions are always motivated by what we value, but today it clearly stands out and is easy to see.  In turn, what others value is also evident.  Things may develop quite swiftly and may require additional attention or quick judgment.  The Earth and Neptune are conjunct (in the same place in the sky) and co-disseminating the energy of 9 Pisces - "the race begins; intent on outdistancing his rivals, a jockey spurs his horse to great speed." 

What are you trying to win?  Wisdom is revealed within this question today, uncloaking a greater insight that may have been nebulous.  How we answer the question, especially in context of relationships, plays out with plans for the future.

 MARS CONJUNCTS VENUS at 01:02 am ET/5:02 am UT tonight, but builds all day, adding the emphasis on relationships mentioned above.  The masculine and feminine energies unite at 15 Leo and "a pageant moving along a street packed with people."  Things are outstanding in that they "stand out" to us - perhaps rather dramatically.  What is being highlighted or paraded before you?  It's a message, for sure, continuing the dynamic this month of messages and information being delivered to us from "on high."

THE MOON ENTERS ARIES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE BLACK MOON ENTERED LIBRA, making today the first "Black Moon Day" for the Black Moon's transit of Libra.  Long time readers know that Black Moon Days have a way of bringing out everyone's shadow side -- fears and trapped power.  People project their own feelings about themselves onto others.  Harsh self-judgment, feelings of worthlessness, and feelings of being undeserving (as if there is such a thing) can crop up.  This dynamic asks us to see our own value and to paint the painting of our lives as a unique being.  All of the emotions that flood in today contribute to the various grades and shades of our personal painting.

URANUS MOVES TO 20 ARIES, off of the Eris Point and the corresponding Sabian symbol of "a boxer entering the ring."  Uranus, Planet of Changes, which is retrograde and revising the state of everything, now begins to disseminate the energy of "a young girl feeding birds in winter."  Situations can go "cold" in order for something else to emerge or be seen -- something that leads to the highest and best for all involved.  Energy that was previously fed into cold or lifeless situations will no longer be able to be sustained.  This is a major shift.

SATURN MOVES TO THE LAST DEGREE OF SCORPIO, beginning to disseminate the energy of "children in Halloween costumes indulging in various pranks."  Since it's Saturn, an extra potential for tricks and hijinks exists until September 18.  And since it is also a "Black Moon day," tricks can come from behind the shadows today and tomorrow.  Don't be fooled or taken into an abyss of hopelessness and self-criticism.  That's a trick.

Today we are wise to pay attention to what stands out -- what the divine feminine and divine masculine want us to see and understand.  We are painting the picture of the future today, but we just may find that heaven on earth exists right here, right now.

The full light of the Full Moon begins today, along with the blazing light of the element of fire.  This Full Moon is the Fire Moon.

Not only is this the Full Moon of the Leo cycle, ruled by the Sun itself and ruler of the element fire, but the Sabian symbols this weekend are all about illumination.  The symbols involved with the locations of the planets include the illumination of shafts of light, brilliant sunlight after a storm, the dawning of a new day (beginning),  and the enlightenment of a campfire.

For all of the blessings, gifts, and insight that can come from a "Fire Moon," full light can blind and can sting.  We are aware that this accompanies the engagement of wisdom, and stay the course until our eyes adjust.

"Adjustment" is a key word this weekend because there is great potential for dramatic life changes.  If you are experiencing this, the changes are coming from a very deep place inside.  New life is trying to emerge from the corners of what has been shadowed.  Dive into the great void and let it heal you.  Immersion in the void is not surrendering to circumstance or emotion; it is a brave journey to be washed clean.  It isn't the end; it is the beginning.

All month long we are receiving divine messages and guidance, but this amps up with the Full Moon and also with Mars at the degree "cherub-like, a human soul whispers, seeking to manifest."  Spirit descends.  We can perceive it more easily when we realize that it is invisible but appears within the subtleties and synchronicities of the very visible natural world.  What message seeks to find you?

As we gaze at the Fire Moon, let's also turn to the Sun.  The Full Moon would not be possible without the Sun.  If you are lucky enough to have a campfire to watch this weekend, take advantage.  If not, candlelight will do just fine.  What flickers?

This lunar month's theme of delivering messages and information comes to us today courtesy of the following energetics:

SUN: "a merry-go-round" - When this energetic is discharged, we often find ourselves saying "Here it goes again."  Patterns repeat.  We often feel like we are making the same mistakes or going down a road we have been down before.  But each time we return to a circumstance that repeats, we do so from a different perspective.  We learn more each time.  We can get off the merry-go-round any time we choose.  We have the power to do things a different way.

EARTH: "a parade of army officers in full dress" - What we value (what is important to us) is demonstrated by our duty, honor, and commitment to it.  What we value clearly shows out today, especially within romantic relationships.  Since Venus is retrograde (and shaking up relationships) and Venus and Mars are making conjunction (meeting up) next week, developments within relationships could be rather dramatic -- on parade.

VENUS: "brilliant sunshine just after a storm" - This energetic clears away obstacles and releases things that have been pent up.  Resolutions occur, so this can moderate and bring renewal to issues that the above energies deliver.

MERCURY: "the light of the sixth race transmuted to the seventh" - We come to a higher level of understanding with things and see what needs to be implemented.  Within this energetic, we see the best elements of things and take those with us into the future.  The elements or parts of things that do not serve the highest and best of all involved can remain behind.

MARS: "an old sea captain rocking on the porch of his cottage" - This energetic always brings the need for quiet contemplation and reflection.  We gain a wide view of the status of people, places, and things in our lives and in the world.  Sitting with something before taking action is advised when this energetic is in play.  This is one of my favorite symbols because the sea captain has acquired much wisdom in his life sailing the high seas (or the south seas, as in the Sabian symbol for last lunar month - "a woman and two men castaways on a small island in the south seas"...).  He is rocking on his porch -- his haven -- in a Zen state, watching the world go about its way and observing.  It is much like the wise owl up in a tree energetic.

JUPITER: "black and white children playing happily" - Coming together is the nature of this energetic.  The children are playing happily, not just playing.  If they were just playing, we could expect, as some point, that they might start to fight.  But the symbol says "happily" so division (especially via racism and perceived differences) is a much harder objective.  Jupiter is asking us what makes us happy.  And Venus is asking us if we value it.

Something for everyone today.  Like Mercury, Deliverer of Messages, and his mission of transmuting light today, we take what we can from the message.

As a week of intensive astrological energetics continues, today we have the conjunction of Mercury and the Black Moon.  When these two planets come together, it is very important that we watch what comes out of our mouths.  It is very easy to wound with words.  Most of the time these are things that need to be said, but it is best to consider how and where that would be best.

In fact, the Sabian symbol for the degree of the conjunction of Mercury and the Black Moon at 01 Libra is "a butterfly persevered and made perfect with a dart through it."  This energy is about moments frozen in time, so it reminds us to stop and think before reacting.  If there is something important you want to say to someone or if some situation or aspect of your life is under dramatic transformation, "freeze" the situation and think about all of the extensions or outcomes that could result and then plan accordingly.

Today's energy shreds conceptions of time and space into ribbons that flow back and forth and in all directions.  This means that the past may come up or come back in some way.  Memories weave through, asking us to gain a message of wisdom.  Thoughts wander.

With this, the Sun is discharging the energy of "a man becoming aware of nature spirits (elementals) and normally unseen spiritual energies."  So we see or understand what has been invisible or shadowed to us.  The Mercury-Black Moon dynamic today reveals how fear has kept us in denial of or unenlightened about something - probably something related to how well we value ourselves.  The wisdom of nature teaches us something today.

Beginning around 7:00 pm ET/11 pm UT and continuing until midnight ET/4:00 am UT, the Moon will oppose Mars.  This will "fuel" whatever is happening in relationships as Venus continues its retrograde.  Mars is in Leo, so this is "double fire."  Fire, as with all of the elements, can give life to something or take life away.  We are wise to remember this as we communicate with others today.

Today the "month of messages" is in full effect.  Pay attention to subtleties and things that flicker in the corner of your eye.  Something heretofore unseen just may reveal itself.

The Moon has moved to the Gibbous phase (the phase before the Full Moon) and the energetics switch from "big action" happening with things to "big magic" happening with things.

Each of the phases is active or receptive.  The New Moon is when we set intentions and make wishes on stars.  It's active -- masculine -- energy.  The next phase, Crescent, is receptive -- feminine energy.  As the phases of the Moon change, the dance between being active or receptive flows back and forth.

Gibbous Moon phase is a receptive/feminine phase.  The days of the Gibbous Moon phase are the most magical of the lunar month.  Between today and the Full Moon on Saturday, the potential for "paranormally" wonderful things to happen is rather limitless.  The Goddess fills the air with a mist of love and unity.  It's big medicine.  It brings heightened insight, understanding, and awareness to help process the shift that is occurring.  It's actual "medicine" --  the way an aeon would administer it.

Over the next few days, the "medicine" will directly alter the course of events that happen in our lives and in our world.

Within that span of time, today at 6:00 pm ET/10:00 pm UT the Sun and Jupiter will make conjunction (come to the same place in the sky).  The Sun empowers and Jupiter expands, so all things can go to unlimited proportions (feelings, interactions, beliefs, conversations, arguments, actions, responses, reactions, etc.). 

But, the conjunction is at 03 Virgo 21 and the Sabian symbol of "black and white children playing happily together," so things that have seemed separate or different easily come together based on their true nature. 

In a way, we are all children dreaming a dream together, playing on the playground.  The Wisdom Goddess Sophia loves to play and she loves children.  She is a teacher, after all!  Much fear is being heavily loaded into the collective now.  Dramatic events are beginning to ensue.  A wave of peace and sharing is falling over top of all of it.  It softens the energy and we can easily connect with it by (always) going outside and paying attention to nature, but also by opening to receiving something that will help us.  The carrier pigeon of this lunar month's Sabian symbol seeks to fulfill its mission to bring us what we need.

Opening to receiving a message is as easy as taking a deep breath and a deep exhale, clearing space in our heart area for whatever is needed to enter.

Today, we come together as children of the human race to restore the playground to happiness.

A series of significant astrological aspects this week continues today with the Black Moon's entry into Libra, where it will transit until May 16, 2016.  The Black Moon in Libra wants us to see what is truly of value so that balance can be restored.  It involves inclusion and loving things as a whole, not separating out the parts we don't like and pretending they don't exist. 

The Black Moon in Libra strives for perfection, the "ideal," and excellence, and the energy is highly judgmental of self and others.  Since today is the first day of the Black Moon in Libra, a strong wave of judgment enters.  Inner and outer "rebellions" ensue.  Previous parameters, boundaries, rules, ideas, and standards are breached in order to reach better ways.

These are overall themes that will weave through the collective until mid-May, but today the themes may be pronounced since today is the switch from the Black Moon in Virgo into the Black Moon in Libra.  Thoughts and feelings about loneliness and isolation may come into view to reveal something.

Additionally, Venus is retrograde or appearing to move backward in the sky until September 6, which is always an overhaul of what we value (what is important to us).  Venus does not retrograde that often, but when it does, relationships undergo deep transformation.  This happens in our individual lives as well as within the collective of humanity as a whole.  (Those particularly affected by this are those born between February 19-26 and August 23-30.)  So we have the Two Sisters -- the Black Moon and Venus, the dark sister and the light sister -- essentially working together through the first week in September to bring the ultimate level of revelation of what is truly of value.

Wise owls know that what is of value is freedom, truth, and love.  As we watch the beginning stages of a nine-month period of inner and outer rebellion against what is out of balance, we remember that a rectification or realignment is occurring.  This is a dynamic that is aligned with the value and love of life, not stagnation and disintegration.  What appeared as the ideals of the material world begin are beginning to fall away.  This is nothing to fear with this because it all leads to a restoration of true values.

How do the themes of what we value play out in our lives today?  What crosses your mind is worth noting because things could be quite clear.

Tomorrow the Sun will meet up with (conjunct) Jupiter.  Thursday Mercury and the Black Moon will meet up as well.  So we have a lot developing on the field as energetic waves of great shift are upon us and I will cover them then.  For today, let's look to see what is truly coming together instead of what seems to be coming apart.  We remember that the return to love is underway.

Catalysts for Change: missing opportunities or details, excluding others, not taking personal responsibility, rushing, bullying, scapegoating, isolation and reclusion, safety and security feeling threatened

The very active Sun has moved into Virgo and today is discharging the energy associated with the Sabian symbol of "a large white cross dominating the landscape stands alone on top of a high hill."  Today we are following a path and on the lookout for signs, information, messages from "on high" that relate especially to:

• SUFFERING and how it is an indication of something that is out of balance. 
• SACRIFICE and the ways it is contrary to the fullest expression of who we are.
• GIVING AWAY POWER to others and how this causes emotional distress and suppression of the spirit.
• INSECURITY and how feeling threatened or unsafe causes missed opportunities.
• WOUNDING and what we learn as we heal the wounds.

These are heavy themes, but this is what comes when the Sun moves into the first degrees of Virgo.  This year, Jupiter has entered Virgo at the same time, expanding the daily dynamics through Wednesday when the Sun and Jupiter meet up at the same place in the sky. 

The planet Chiron is a ruler the sign of Virgo and the Sun is activating (by trine - 120 degrees) the Chiron Point or the degree in the sky where Chiron was located when it was discovered.  When Chiron energy is strongly present, we can wound ourselves with arrows and daggers of self-sabotage, self-sacrifice, perceived failures, distrust, sadness, neediness, and frustration.  Our words can be particularly wounding right now -- to ourselves and others -- so we want to be mindful.

But when Chiron energy is strongly present, it also brings the highest levels of healing and wisdom.  The stellar influence of Chiron enables us to see and bring many different elements of situations together in new/different ways.  As such, Chiron rules alchemy, helping us transform (our minds) from one way, attitude, or outlook to another.  It heals all of the things listed above and will be in full force, as mentioned, through Wednesday.

Virgo is indeed the main story today, and about thirty minutes after midnight Eastern time tonight, the Black Moon will leave Virgo and enter Libra.  The Black Moon has been in Virgo since November 26, 2014.  Fears and issues related to where we think we've failed, how vulnerable and "real" we can be with others, levels of trust, and notions of perceived abandonment by Spirit have been squarely in our faces.  The Black Moon now brings rebirth with these things.  (Those with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces please join me in celebration!)

Many astrological events are happening this week, so stay tuned as we follow the path of the mystic.  Look "up high" for signs and turn to Spirit for healing and wisdom if the energies become overwhelming.  We are safe, secure, and held in the arms of the beautiful "landscape" of Gaia Sophia.
