Third Quarter Moon Phase: revise, realign

Moon in Leo

Goddess of Wisdom: Shodashi - Goddess Who Aligns With the Highest and Best Interests of the Soul, Goddess of Beauty and Form

God of Will/Desire: Kathe - God of the South, God of Waves

Skill: be conscious of what your mind is weaving

True Alignments:  experience, stories and archetypes, information coming to light, sharing one's feelings and heart, trust, attuning to a greater rhythm, aligning with one's path and true self, individuality, creative expression, prophetic insight, planning for the future/visualizing, beauty of shape and form, embracing imperfection, holding a loving state of mind

Catalysts for Change: dull, repeating patterns and behaviors, under-estimating self, ungrounded from the present, denial, becoming burdened by too much detail, playing games, secrets or motives revealed, covering up or concealing, obsession, perfectionism, speaking without thinking or impulsively reacting with words, targeting others, immobilized

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: "a girls basketball team" (unifying)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: "the music of the spheres" (complete re-calibration of consciousness)

Today, things come full circle as we come back to the beginning of something, but this time in a new way, with new experience and wisdom.

The Earth is disseminating the archetypal energy of "an Indian weaving a blanket."  What we weave with our minds (the mental-emotional state[s] that we hold and the things that we focus on) has tremendous power to manifest.

Alongside this today, we are in window of time when the planets are in their own state of transition, coming out of shadows, completing cycles, and moving things forward.  This is particularly true with relationships and conditions that have developed since July 25, 2015.  These things are coming into resolution.*

In an effort to ascertain where we are with things and what we are "weaving" into our personal and collective experience, it is worth considering the answers to certain questions.  Consider how you would answer them for yourself ("you") and for the collective of humanity ("we").

What do you want to return?

What do you want to preserve?

What do you want to express?

What do you want to secure?

What do you want to overcome?

What do you want to free?

What do you want to say?

In my estimation, the most pivotal and historical New Moon and lunar cycle in our lifetimes begins Monday.  It's that important.  This is because it is a pivot point in history.  This is also why it is so important to be mindful of our hearts and minds between now and Monday's New Moon, and then throughout the remainder of the lunar cycle.  But the primary imprint occurs during the first four days of the new lunar month -- the New Moon phase, and so we build our attention to this.

Today, we are mindful of what we are weaving.

*For wise owls with some astrological knowledge, here is a deeper explanation:

1 - The Sun reaches the degree of Mercury's retrograde tomorrow, Venus comes out of the shadow of its retrograde tomorrow - comes back to the degree where it retrograded July 25, 2015 and thus completes that cosmic rhythm.

2- Mercury will station direct on Friday

3 - The New Moon in Libra begins Monday at the degree of the Sabian symbol "a Jewish rabbi performing his duties."  All New Moons in Libra are like a month-long Full Moon, and thus a month's potential for "Full Moon Fever."
